Faolan searched for a spot to sleep in. All the dens he already dug were taken by other animals. He sighed. Being a Gnaw-Wolf wasn't easy.

As Faolan was digging a new den, thoughts came to him. What will happen if there is another wolf pup who survived? What if the pack is against me, because I was raised by a grizzly?

Faolan didn't have the energy to answer those questions. Once he dug the den, he cuddled together, cold. 

He couldn't sleep. Something was wrong. Something terrible was happening. He needed to be there. 

And that was just what Faolan thought. He hurried out of the den to see something that made his jaw drop.....
