Beginning of life
Just like any other planet starting life. It all starts in fire, lava and explosions. From that same lava, the element of fire was born. Just like any other element, they were born from the same thing.
One day the lava was boiling hot. It started taking form of a wolf pup. Short stout nose, small tail, short stubby legs, and a small chubby body. It took a few hours for the molten lava to take form and cool off.
Days passed and the pup's mold of cooled lava exploded. It was a small explosion, but it was enough to create a big cloud of smoke. As it cleared out a black pup layed in the middle of the ashes. The pup opened his eyes and stood up. He had a look around and wandered off. He found a shelter for the day, it had what he needed to survive. There were rivers of lava to drink from and mounds of halfway cool lava to eat. He drank from a river of lava and his fur started to light up. On the tip of his ears, tail, front paws, and a single line in the middle of his back. He ate some lava rocks and went to sleep for the night.
~Years Later~
Years have passed and the pup has grown into a fine young wolf. Strong lean body, bushy tail and a mane around his neck. He has changed quite a lot.(Image up above) He still had no name, for he didn't have any knowledge of words, he only knew body language. Which is really funny when he meets the next element. Water.
But before that, there was a harsh storm. It startled the wolf that it was raining water instead of rocks and explosions. He stayed in the cave for weeks. His fur kept him warm, that is until he had to get out of his cave to look for food. When poked his head out, raindrops fell on him and turned out the fire on his fur. Steam started coming off of his head and he ended up having black fur again on his head.
Startled by this he went back inside and dried off his head. Rubbing his paw against his head he was able to light up his fur again. He sniffed the air and grunted. He sat down and looked outside, thinking about his choices. Will he could wait for the rain to end so he can look for food or go out in the rain, risk getting sick, and find food.
After a whole hour of thinking, he finally decided to go out and look for food. He ran to the entrance of the cave and stopped there. He jumped out and got showered in the heavy rain. A lot of steam came off of him, leaving him in complete black fur. It was weird for him.
On he went to look for food. He noticed that there was a puddle of water. He ran to it and noticed that the puddle was forming a pup. He sat down and looked at it. It wasn't long before the new pup was born. The odd thing about this pup was that it had wings. But he didn't care because he knew how hard and difficult it was to live alone. So he protected the pup from the rain. He whined for the pup to wake up, but it was no use. So he took the pup to a river of water. The pup started drinking from it. The pup spoke but it seemed weird for him.
"Where am I, Sir?," asked the pup. He was confused by this. But he barked lowly so the pup wouldn't get scared. "Oh, I understand. So I'm the element of water. And you are the element of fire, interesting," said the little pup. He nodded and started nudging the pup so she would start walking. "Where are we going?," asked the little pup. He barked lowly to explain everything. He explained that he lived alone, he didn't know how to speak normally like she did, and lastly that he didn't have a name. "Oh, well how about, Flame?," the pup suggested. "F-flame?," his voice was deep and rough. Unlike that of the pup's voice. It was sweet and gentle.
The pup smiled of joy. "You can speak!," she said overjoyed. Flame turned away a little embarrassed. "Oh sorry," she said while looking at the ground. Flame looked at her and picked her up by her tail. "Hey! Let go!!" The little pup started struggling but stopped. Her wings were hanging from her back.
Flame finally got to the cave and put the pup down. He dried of and layed down. He sighed heavily, knowing that he will stay hungry for another few years. The pup on the other hand had everything. Food, shelter, and someone to look after her. Of course she noticed Flame being lazy and asked him what was wrong. "What's wrong, Flame? Are you hungry?," he looked at her and layed on his side, his stomach growling loudly. He grunted of hunger and sighed. "What do fire wolves eat? Do they eat fire, lava, or rocks?," the pup questioned, which made Flame's patience thin out. He stood up looking annoyed and walked to the pup. "Do you ever shut up!!!," he yelled at the pup furiously. She trembled in fear, trying to hide underneath her wings.
When the pup started whimpering Flame started to feel ashamed of himself. What would he do? He sighed heavily and sat by the pup, curling his tail around her. His tail started to light up keeping the pup warm. She started peeking from under her wings and looked at him. She soon started to snuggle in the young male's tail. He didn't like the feeling of someone touching his tail. He stood up and started to rub his tail against him. Being back to his normal self he wouldn't be able to touch the pup. He started warming up the cave, but the pup got overheated. "Can you please lower the temperature in here?," asked the pup and Flame did. It fell silent between them for a while and Flame broke it. "So kid, what should we name you?"
"Oh I don't know," replied the pup while sitting up. Flame studied her and noticed that she had a star on her tail.
"How about Starfish?," Flame suggested. The pup thought about it. She smiled in approval, Flame layed down and closed his eyes. Starfish wondered why. What ever the reason she was sure that she was going to be the one to change his attitude. (This is how Starfish looks like)
