Jungkook's POV

I fly down to the cave I have memorized. Everything, the way to the cave, I have down by heart by now. I can fly here with my eyes closed if I wanted to.

I touch down to the ground and bark. I watched as a beautiful light brown wolf runs out of the entrance. We play for awhile. Trying to see who is stronger. I lay on my back as Taehyung gets on top of me. I use my wings to hold him still when he finally asks me something.

"How does it feel like? To be up there?"

I look to where he is looking, the clouds. I stare for a while trying to figure out an answer. "It feels like there is nothing to worry about. That nothing can stop you from going the distance." I said. I stare at his confusion. Right, there is no hierarchy here. Plus, I am bad at explaining stuff.

"Here, let me show you." I get up and stood with my wings tucked in. I believe he got the message because he went to his human form and got on top of my back. "Hold on."

I felt his arms wrap around my neck and I took that as my que to take off. I flew slowly into the air to not drop him. I listened to his little screams before they calmed down and finally relaxed. I flew past the clouds and watched as they disappeared only to show us the beautiful sunset.

"Wow." I hear Taehyung speak for the first time since we got up here. I continue to fly around. Going in circles, doing flips, just anything to get a smile out of him. I always do. "I do feel free of the dangers."

I laughed when he laughed. I smiled when he smiled. I stopped when he spoke.

"Who is that?" He asked me. I flapped my wings to keep us afloat while I tried to figure out who was in front of us. I squinted my eyes, then widen them. A guard.

"Hold on tight." I said as I flew downwards into the trees. "Whoa, slow down, Kookie." I hear him. "Stay down. I don't want you getting hurt." I yelled at him. He did as told. I can still feel the guard following me. I look around to see if there is a way to get rid of Taehyung carefully before this guard caught up. I spot a pond. "Can you swim?" I asked him.

"Can I swim? Yes I can swim why?" He asked. Without thinking I made a sharp turn and watched as Taehyung lost his grip and flew into the water, hard. I cringed at that but kept flying a few more feet before stopping.

I watched as the guard stopped in front of me a few minutes later. "Can I help you sir?" I asked him.

"Yes you can. Two questions. One have you seen the prince? He's still missing." Minho, I now know, asked.

"I was in the search before we had to make this meeting." I said.

"I swear that prince is going to be in a heap of trouble of he doesn't stop sneaking out. Do you know what he does during his little adventures?"

Seokjin. I believe his name was. "No, he doesn't tell me anything anymore. All I know is that he probably does this to get away from the king." The guard nods his head before asking another question.

"Why were you trying to get away from me?" I felt the sweat start to run down my tongue. I mean, I am still in my wolf form.

"Um. It's you. I always try to get away from you dude. Besides, I felt it was tradition by now." I smirked. He just growled. "You only have a couple of hours here. You see a savage wolf you get out and head back to the castle. Understand?" He asked me. Well, more like told me.

"Yes, brother." He puts his paw on top of my head and smiles. "See you back at home."

I watched as he flew off back into the clouds. Once he was out of my sight I counted to twenty and ran to where I left Taehyung at.

By the time I made it to the pond I am face to face with an angry, wet, Taehyung.

"Um. We weren't caught?" I said with a nervous smile. He didn't say anything. I changed into my human form. I walked closer to him, still holding the nervous smile. "You ok?" I asked him.

With arms crossed he still said nothing. I hate seeing my mate like this. "I'm sorry?" I said. I am now up close to him. "You threw me in the pond. I was skipping like a rock and you just fly off!? I thought you left me there! Asshole!" I deserve that. "What can I do to earn your forgiveness?" I asked him.

"You can give me a hug." I cringed. He's wet right now but I'll do anything. I went to hug him but as soon as I had my arms around him he pushed me into the water. I swim up to the surface and crawl out. "Now I feel better." He kisses my nose. "You are forgiven. I also understood why you threw me into the water. I forgiven you when you said sorry." He chuckles before walking away.

I turn to my wolf to dry off faster. Shaking off the excess water, I run after him. Turning back to human. "So, did you like being in the sky?"

"I did. I felt more alive than ever." I smiled at his sparkling eyes. "Well, I still have a few more hours to hang here. Want to hunt?" I asked him. He just smiles. "I'd rather rest for a bit. But with you with me."

"I can do that." I followed him into his cave and we both lay down on a makeshift bed made out of deer skin and covers made from sheep fur. I made this for him weeks ago. We both lay down and slowly drifted off to sleep. I tried keeping my eyes open but it was so warm and outside is so cold. I too, drift off to sleep.
