It was the weekend of the bachelorette party and we were getting ready to go to the airport. Mrs Ateara had agreed to let Willow join us after an awkward phone conversation with Riley and Camden and she made us promise to give her updates as much as we could.

It took a while to say goodbye to the pack - they were nervous about us going to the city without them being there to look out for us but Leah promised that she could handle it.

'I'll miss you Kitty' Paul said, kissing me.

'I'll miss you too baby. But we'll be back soon and I'll take photos so you can see us all dressed up and I'll text you as much as I can remember.' I promised.

'Text me when you land.'

I gave him one final kiss and joined the others in the taxi to the airport. Here we go! We were talking excitedly the whole time as we waited for our plane and raced each other to the gate when our flight was called. I slept for most of the flight until Kim woke me up just before we landed.

'Katie, you need to wake up. You have to drive us to the hotel.' she reminded me.

'Ugh, why didn't I take Cam up on his offer to pick us up?' I groaned as we exited the plane and made our way to a rental car.

I drove down the familiar streets pointing out all the places I used to visit whilst at school and finally parked up at the hotel.

'Hey Kat!' Sydney greeted as I reached the front desk.

'Hey Syd, have you seen Camden or Riley? They said to let them know when I was here but neither of them are picking up their phones' I rolled my eyes.

'According to their diaries they are in the office. Do you want to go through?'

'Yeah thanks' I headed over to let the girls know where I was going, 'I'll be back in two, the guys are in their office so I'm gone go piss them off' I said with a grin, walking towards the office.

I knocked loudly on the door and threw it open as soon as I heard Riley yell for me to come in.

'Here was me thinking I was gonna get a royal welcome but here you are hiding from me!'

'Kat! I'm sorry! We got caught up in work' Cam apologised as they both came over to squash me in a hug. 'Are your friends here? Damn, I bet they think bad of us for not greeting them.'

'Chill Cam. They're from the rez, they don't care about the rules of society like that. It's not the norm for us' I shrugged.

'Us? Damn Katie have you changed your ways?' Riley laughed in disbelief.

'Some of my ways Riley. I'm a kept woman now, I need to behave' I teased, waving my engagement ring at them.

'Wow, your guy has better taste than I thought he would.' Cam commented, examining the ring closely.

'Come on then, I suppose we'd best go and meet your new friends and not keep you all to ourselves.'

We walked over to the girls and I swear I saw them swoon slightly at the sight of them.

'Guys, this is Camden and Riley. Boys, this is my future sister - in - law Emily, and my friends Leah, Willow, and Kim.' I introduced.

'Nice to meet you all' Riley said politely 'Would you like to see your rooms?'

'That would be great thanks' Kim said in a real girly voice.

I glanced at her and she blushed a little.

'I've got to check on the club so I'll see you tonight Kat' Cam gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and left us with Riley.

Riley took us upstairs to the rooms we were staying in - they were adjoining rooms which made it more fun as we got ready as we didn't have to all squeeze in to one room.

'Okay so I only got three rooms for you so you'll have to double up and Kat is staying with Cam and I' Riley explained.

'You're staying with them both?' Emily asked in disbelief.

'Yeah. Paul knows and said he's fine with it - he knows how needy I am when I'm drunk.' I shrugged.

'Em, stop. Remember what Sam told you' Leah scolded her, ushering her in to one of the rooms.

'Okay, so I will leave you girls too it and I'll see you at the club.'

'Thanks Riles, see you in a few hours.'

We had got ready in a few hours, helping each other with our hair and make up and we were all covered in glitter and perfume. Luckily, the club was only a few doors away from the hotel so we didn't have to walk too far in our heels. The girls looked disappointed when they saw the long line of people outside the club.

'Come on' I told them, walking to the bouncers at the front of the line.

'Katie, we can't queue jump' Emily hissed at me but I ignored her.

'Hey Andre, you missed me?' I asked one of the bouncers who grinned at me.

'Hey yourself Uley, where you been?' he hugged me tightly.

'Home with my family'

'Damn girl I missed you. It's strange not having you here every weekend.'

'Its strange for me as well. I miss you'

'Alright now, you're on the VIP list as usual and you're upstairs in your booth. I'll let Jason know you're here and to let you in.' he said.

'Thanks Andre, see you in a while.'

I led them through the club. I knew the lights and loud music was probably making Leahs wolf senses go in to over drive but I loved the atmosphere. Jason let us in to the VIP area and I led us over to my usual booth.

'How often did you come here Katie?' Kim asked curiously.

'Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night,' I replied, looking round for a waiter to take our drink orders. 'We were good friends with the old owner which is how the boys came to take over when he retired.'

'How did the school let you get away with that?'

'They were too worried about other things. It's okay though, I've always been safe here.' I reassured her.

Luckily a waiter came over to take our order before they could interrogate me any further.

'Hey, could we get 2 bottles of champagne, 20 shots of tequila, 2 beer towers, and some snacks. When you put it through the till please use code 7 and it will sort out the payment.' I ordered enough drinks for the whole table.

'What on earth?' Leah asked in disbelief.

'I have my own tab here so I don't have to pay and Camden can keep an eye on how much I'm drinking. I ordered so much because we came here to get drunk. Right?'

'Kat could easily drink that herself' Cam teased, joining us at the table. 'Well, unless she's gone soft on us that is.'

I rolled my eyes at him.

'Katie can still drink. First time I met her we went to a party and she was taking part in drinking contests with the guys.'

'Why do you call her Kat?' Willow asked curiously.

'Cos she's cute and soft but you piss her off and she becomes violent and passive aggressive' Cam explained.

'That describes you perfectly!' Leah laughed.

Our drinks arrived and I poured us all a glass of champagne to toast with.

'So tonight is one of Emilyss final nights of freedom before she is married with no escape. I know we had our issues in the past Em but I'm happy for you and Sam' Leah spoke, raising her glass.

'To Sam and Emily!' we chorused and drank.

We kept on drinking and took some cute photos which we sent to the boys and then got up to dance. I had missed this! Kim and Leah were amazing dancers and easily joined in dancing with me but watching Willow and Emily fail made me chuckle. At least Emily seemed to be loosening up a little.

Cam had made sure we had water at the table to stay hydrated and I was very grateful for it after a few hours of mad dancing. I gulped down a glass happily when Emily came to sit with me.

'So, I owe you an apology,' she said hesitantly.

'Yes. You do.'

'I'm sorry Katie'

'For what exactly?'

'Seriously Katie? You can't just take the apology?'

'Nope. I want to make sure you know what you're apologising for.'

'This is ridiculous' she muttered.

'Fine, then don't bother.'

I got up and joined the others on the dance floor. If Emily was going to be a bitch then I was going to ignore her and enjoy myself.
