Chapter-1
*I like to acknowledge my best friend Ashely/Littleblackstar0018 for helping me create this wonderful story.* <3
I was born in the rocky snowy mountains of Siberia, born into one of the most oldest and powerful werewolf clans. But as the forest where I was born disappeared we were forced to move to the suburbs. There were so little of us we had no choice, the humans keep on chopping down the forest so that my kind is driven closer and closer towards extinction. We found homes in the suburbs trying to living normal human lives. I hated the idea of living close to humans, because I was raised as a wolf, and we really enjoy privacy together as a pack. They always treat us like outsiders when they realize we're not human, its annoying.
I was looking out the window listening to music on the radio when my mother came in to wake me up.
"Yuki come on! We're here!" She exclaimed smiling.
When I was born my mother named me Yuki because my fur was snow white and Yuki means snow in Japanese; my mother loves Japan so much. Sadly because of low income in Japan my mother had to leave to find work in Russia, where she met my father Vladimir. In 1920 I was born, with soft blond hair just like my fathers and ice blue eyes. However, we are all full blood werewolf, even my brother who resembles my mother's petite figure and olive skin.
"What's the town like?" I asked following my mother to the car, I just moved here because of our recent relocation out of the woods.
"They are lovely dear, they even allow other supernatural creatures. I hear that some "Super Soldiers" live there as well. Which means there won't be a lot of none humans there you'll love it. Plus it's a nice change of pace, I'm starting to like the Suburbs."
The car ride wasn't to long, the house was nestled in a small community, despite the neighborhood falling to shambles, our home is a large brick home still in tack. Our house didn't have much of a yard and the houses were kinda close together nothing like my old home. But somehow it had that home sweet home vibe to it. It was in town so it was a bit loud. Thankfully we found an area with enough room to house my whole pack. Ten werewolves need more space than anyone ever realizes. Since our pack is so small we are born at the same time our true life companion is. The companion usually resembles the wolf they belong with when transform. The only thing different between us and our companions is that we werewolves are much bigger, can stand on two legs, and of course turn into humans. We are the only ones who can communicate with our companion. All my pack members were all male and in their 30's, they were my dad's younger brothers. He was the eldest. We were all very close and always lived together so there were no secrets between us. The only females were me and mom. The only kids were me and brother Leonid. I'm 18 and he's 15 he's always been shy and quiet. He never really fit in with the other werewolves he was always small and couldn't hunt. No one even knows that he can transform. He never told anyone because even though his human form was weak and fragile. His wolf was one the biggest and strongest one I've ever seen. Like mother always says never judge a book by its cover. I could never understand why he always let them pick on him if he's so strong. One day I finally got the courage to ask him why he let them. He said he'd rather him to get hurt then to hurt someone else. He would always sit there and take it when they were beating him. I would always have to chase them away. I was always the one taking care of him when he got injured. He only trusted me. I never left him alone. He was always such a good kid he had such a big kind heart. He always forgave everyone he never held a grudge. He had the most purest soul I'd ever known. I sighed and grabbed my bags.
Then I walked them up to the front door as my mom unlocked the door. My uncle's and father were all in the war. My brother was old enough to work on the tanks. So it was really only me and mom. We walked through the front doors, greeted by the smell of oak and large foyer.
We brought everything inside and started bringing in the new furniture. We got everything nice and tighty. When we had everything put away. I decided to go get changed. I put on a on a white dress my mother had made me for my birthday. I loved it. It was very special to me. I was tall, slim, perfectly toned, tan, long legs, long wavey soft blond hair, and ice blue eyes not gold like the others yet resembled my father so well. I made sure to wear a hat when I went out so no one would see my face. I was old enough to work now so my mom asked me to look around town. The only way to tell a purebred werewolf from a human is theirs eyes. Most werewolves have gold eyes even In their human form. But rarely are ever born with blue eyes. So even to my own species I am different. On the way out the door I grabbed my leash for Snow; Snow since she's white like me. My mom always tells me to take her with me when I go to anywhere because I'm a young woman. I hook it up to her collar and took off out the door. I walked down the street. Snow kept up perfectly with my pass. Suddenly I heard a scream. But when I stopped there was nothing I looked around and used my wolf hearing still nothing. Some how I knew something was wrong so I looked at Snow.
"Please tell me you heard that too?" I asked hesitantly.
'Heard what?' She replied she could only talk telepathically all companions do.
"Never mind." I said looking down the street.
Then I started walking again. When a man appeared out of no where. He was handsome, dark brown hair, pretty well built and red eyes. Which mean he's a vampire lovey first handsome man I see and he's a vamp. That's just great everyone knows vamps and werewolves are totally enemy's. When he suddenly vanished. I looked around but no sign of him.
'What are you looking at?' Snow asked.
"What do you mean there was a young man right here a second ago." I said, looking down at her.
'No there wasn't you were staring off into space. Must of been another spirit.' Snow said, I'm not just different cause of my eyes I'm also different because I can see and communicate with spirits. Problem is I can't tell the different between spirits and real people.
I walked around everywhere around town looking for a job. But nothing looks promising. So I just gave up today and went home. When I got in mom just got done cooking dinner it was heavenly. I sat at the table with mom. The house was so empty without the boys. It was so quiet. It was only us in this big house. We ate quietly there was nothing but silence. Then I took a shower and got dressed for bed. My room was big and my bed was huge. I loved it. I climbed in bed with Snow and went to sleep.
