Chapter Ten

IVE NEVER GOTTEN TO THE TENTH CHAPTER IN A BOOK BEFORE. I ALWAYS EITHER GIVE UP OR TELL SOMEONE ELSE TO FINISH IT! IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! Well now that I've got that out of the way pls enjoy the TENTH CHAPTER of this book!

Instead of monsters looking at you like you were some terrible creature that was going to lash out at any moment they were looking at you like you were just like them. Just like a monster. Not everyone trusted you but they did thank you for helping Frisk. Apparently everyone, even the annoying talking flower that says howdy and golly all the time cares a lot and when you say lot you mean a lot! They'd all give there lives for Frisk apparently. Your wolf instincts keep telling you to use Frisk as bait so you would have a proper meal but luckily in human form you can push those instincts away more easily. Right now you were sitting in camp making sure nothing came in (especially not hunters) while Alphys talked to you assuming you were listening. Listening was something wolfs were good at. Well it mostly depends on what type of listen. Are you listening for noises in the trees or are you listening to a long lecture about how to hunt but never actually hunt in the first place. Yes, those are two different things entirely. When Alphys finished taking she must have asked some question because she was waiting for a reply.
"Oh uuuhhhh...."
"Yes?"
"Ummm"
"Yes?"
"Could you repeat that question again?"
"Well that answers the question."
"Huh?" Alphys was simply walking away. Great now you were curious what the question was. Frisk came up and began moving her hands.
"Alphys asked if you had listening issues."
"Why?" Frisk liked staying mute and did a good job of it in the underground, never using her mouth but she could still talk and began doing it a lot but still sometimes would use sign language.
"She wanted to know for scientific research if wolfs could listen for long periods of time.
"Well the answers no for what she was doing. In other situations yes." Frisk looked completely lost already so she just went back to drawing with her stick in the dirt.
"Looks like you aren't very good at listening either." You muttered under your breath. Out of nowhere Frisk slapped herself.
"Are you ok-"
"I completely forgot to ask what your name was!" She exclaimed.
"Oh well it's Y/N." She smiled. You expected her to say something but she just went back to drawing in the dirt. Knowing she wasn't going to talk any time soon and Alphys was definitely done with you, you turned back into a wolf. That's when you smelled it. Monster dust. One of the monsters had gotten seriously hurt before and a bit of dust poured out. They were safe and had healed miraculously fast but now you knew what the dust smelled like. From what you smelled there was a lot more dust than before.
