You stared at the skeleton in confusion. Banished? Monsters? Surface? You glanced at the tall trees behind you. Normally you could run away and go get the pack, driving these newcomers out of our territory. Right now was completely different. You had no idea how fast you were in this form and the pack didn't care about your well being. The skeleton spoke again but you allowed it to sound like gibberish. Slowly you no longer had to do anything. You couldn't understand a word he said. You glanced down. Once again you had fur and was on your hind legs. You slammed your front paws on the ground and sprinted into the forest. You ran and ran until you were back in camp.

You remembered the strange creatures from the week before. Even though you were now hunting and being accepted once again by the pack you couldn't get them off your mind. You glanced over at your hunting partner Y/F/N. (your friend's name) She was sniffing the air for prey. You did the same. The mouthwatering scent of deer filled your nose. You didn't even have to say anything Y/F/N was already running, fast as the wind toward the smell. You dashed after her and managed to catch up. When you finally did the smell of blood filled the air. It was a mixture of deer and wolf. You sprinted forward to help your friend and saw a dead deer on the ground with a broken neck. You walked forward cautiously and saw an unmoving body next to the deer. You howled in pain as you realized that the body belonged to
Y/F/N.
"Y/F/N?" You asked. No answer. You were about to howl in sadness again until you heard voices in the distance. Then you heard it. The sound of a reloading gun. You snarled at the noise. You knew you would turn into that weird form if you tried to understand the language but you needed to know what the humans were saying. You allowed yourself to transform and the gibberish made sense.
"Careful, careful we don't want to let this one get away. When we turn back lock the target on the wolf and shoot. Got it?" You heard a little sound of acknowledgement but you didn't let them get the chance to move. You lunged forward transforming into a wolf while doing so and sank your teeth into the first bit of flesh your fangs met.
