Description: Remus and Sirius get lost in the woods in the dark and Sirius has the perfect solution.
Story:
"Go! Get out of here!" James yelled at Remus and Sirius. They were in the midst of a Death Eater attack and it was only a few days until the next full moon, so Remus wasn't in fighting condition.

Sirius didn't want to leave his best mate to fight with the Order, but he also knew he had to get his boyfriend to safety. He grabbed Remus's hand and they ran like James told them to and entered the dark woods, stumbling along past trees and brush until they were so far away from the fighting that they couldn't hear it anymore.

"Sirius," Remus asked, having let go of Sirius's hand for a moment and then not being able to find it again.

"Right here," Sirius spoke, but Remus still couldn't see him in the pitch darkness of the woods. He reached out for Sirius, but his hand met the bark of a tree instead.

He started to feel a bit panicky. He was aware that Sirius was close by, but he couldn't feel or see him and it set him on edge. He wished he hadn't let go of his hand.

After a little more rustling around, Sirius found Remus's hand and squeezed it tightly, wondering where they were.

"Do you remember which way we came from?" Remus asked.

Sirius shook his head before remember that Remus couldn't see him. "No."

Remus mulled over their options. "I just wish I could see where we were going," he thought aloud.

"Don't worry babe, I got this," Sirius said, stomping his feet. His Sketchers lit up, bathing the surrounding trees in multi-colored lights.

Remus sighed. "Why are you like this?"

Sirius grinned. "I knew I bought these for a reason!"

Remus shook his head, pulling his wand out of his pocket where he'd stowed it. "I meant we could use lumos, but Sketchers work too."

Sirius blushed. "Oh. Yeah, lumos would be more practical, huh?"

Remus nodded, muttering the incantation, lighting the tip of his wand and thus illuminating the forest. Sirius cast the Point Me spell and they headed in the direction they thought they'd come from.

After much walking, they finally emerged back to the battlefield, although the fighting was long over. James had been pacing, about to plunge into the forest to look for them himself, when they had showed themselves.

"What took you so long? I was so worried!"

Remus shrugged, "We got lost."
