Based on the headcanon in which Sirius debates what to get for Remus forever and finally decided on breakfast in bed, and Remus loves it.

Sirius stared at the shop display, trying to figure out what exactly he should get for Remus' birthday. He had already bought chocolate, but other than that, he had no idea what to get. He wandered the street a little longer before walking back to the carriages. Sirius had spent the entire Hogsmede day looking for the perfect gift. As the carriages approached Hogwarts, he saw Remus waiting at the front doors with James and Lily. Sirius got out of the carriage and walked over to his friends and boyfriend.

"Hey, Moony." Sirius kissed Remus on the cheek and wrapped an arm around his waist. "James, Lily. How was your Hogsmede visit?"

"Good. We went to Honeydukes and had butter beer at The Three Broomsticks. Where were you?" Lily asked Sirius, looking confused.

"I was shopping for Remus' birthday. You're so difficult to shop for!" He turned to Remus and smiled.

"Siri, you know you don't have to get me anything!" Remus smiled back, and began walking into the building.

"You can't be serious, of course I'm getting you something." Sirius laughed as they walked into the great hall. The group ate dinner in peace, and before long, they were off to bed. Lily and James said their good nights, (and made out in the hallway for a while) and the boys headed up to the dorms. Halfway there, an idea struck Sirius. He realized that he could get up early the next day, especially since it was Sunday, so they didn't have classes, and go get Remus breakfast in bed. They could spend the day in bed, reading and talking and just being near each other. By the time they arrived at the dorms, he had formulated a plan, and was ready for morning to come. The boys arrived in their dorm and began changing into pajamas. Sirius crawled into bed next to Remus, and James rolled his eyes.

"You two are so lucky! I wish I could sleep in the same bed as Lily!" James was constantly complaining that Remus and Sirius got to spend more time together. The pair just laughed and turned out their lamps. Sirius was sure of his plan by now, and he had set a charm on himself so that he could get up in time.

"Night, boys." James spoke from a neighboring bed.

"Night." Peter spoke from his.

"Sleep tight." Sirius said.

"Sweet dreams." Remus almost whispered.

The boys had been saying the exact same thing to each other every night since first year. Sirius snuggled up next to Remus and fell asleep quickly.

The next morning, Sirius woke and crept silently out of bed. He woke up James and Peter and kicked them out of the dorm.

"This is for me and Moony only. Now go find your girlfriends," The other two boys left, grumbling as they went. Soon after, Sirius left the dorm and headed to the kitchens. He got every kind of food they had, and brought it up to the dorms.

"Mooooony... Moooooony, get up. I have a surprise for you!" Remus opened his eyes sleepily and smiled fondly at Sirius.

"What's all this?"

"Breakfast in bed, for my perfect perfect perfect boyfriend," Sirius beamed as Remus looked over all the food hungrily.

"Siri, this looks so delicious! Thank you so much. You're perfect," Remus sat up in bed and kissed Sirius on the cheek. The two boys sat in bed and ate breakfast, talking about everything from school to Sirius' hair. When James and Peter finally reemerged into the dorm, telling the boys that there was a party in the coon room for Remus in thirty minutes, they finally got out of bed. To this day, Remus considers it his best birthday.
