Cooking

It was Sirius's birthday, and Remus had to make it perfect. He got James and Lily to take Sirius out for the day while he got everything ready. He decided to make Sirius dinner. Now Remus was just plain awful at cooking, and he knew it, but he wanted to make the day special for the man he was in love with. He got an old cookbook from a muggle shop, and decided on Fettuccini Alfredo, Sirius's favorite dish. He made the noodles with no problem, and was extremely proud of himself after that victory. Now came the sauce. He was nervous about this part, but he thought he could do it. He added the ingredients and began to simmer it. He turned around to begin taking the noodles out of the strainer (he insisted on doing everything the muggle way since he was using a muggle book), and when he turned back around, the sauce was on fire.
"Oh, Merlin! Damn! I was almost done!" He felt awful as he put out the fire. He continued to cook, and by the time he was done, the kitchen was a wreck, and there was a fair amount of smoke hanging around the kitchen. Remus began to cry a little, he was just so frustrated and he couldn't take it. He didn't hear the door open, or the footsteps walk into the now demolished kitchen.
"Remmy! What's wrong?" Sirius walked over to Remus and sat down on the floor next to him.
"Oh, Siri. I tried to make you dinner, and I just couldn't! I'm sorry!" Remus sniffled, as Sirius put his arm around him, and Remus leaned into his boyfriend's shoulder.
"Remmy, it's okay. I didn't need a fancy dinner for my birthday!" Sirius kisses Remus on the top of his head and pulls him up from the floor. "I'm ordering takeout, do you want Chinese or Pizza?" Sirius goes to the phone (which Peter and Lily taught them how to use) and grabs a phone book (this is the 80's guys... Try to remember).
"You pick," Remus sniffles and slumps onto the couch in the living room.
"I'm going for Chinese. What do you want?"
"Siri, you know what I always get," Remus laughs a little, and walks over to Sirius. Sirius orders the food, and they sit down on the couch and turn on the T.V. to pass the time until the food comes. The doorbell rings, and Sirius grabs it and brings it back to the couch. They eat their food while watching cheesy reality shows and cuddling.
"Oh, Remmy. This was the best birthday ever. I love you so much," Sirius leans in for a kiss on the lips, and Remus reciprocates.
"I love you too. I'm sorry about the pasta," Remus leans into Sirius and buries his head in Sirius's chest. Sirius reassures him a million times about the pasta, and they fall asleep on the couch, their limbs entangled.

Hi!!! I haven't updated in FOREVER! Here's a new story that I really like, and I hope you did too. In my world, Lily and Peter (who never betrayed anyone) have to teach all the wizards how to use muggle things, and that's how Remus and Sirius know how to use a phone and T.V. Thanks for reading, my Wolfstar Babes!
