A Very Wolfstar Wedding.
A/N
As you can probably tell from the chapter title, this is our favourite couple's wedding (finally)!
Just a note to say that I've ignored UK gay marriage laws for this and just written a nice wedding for them, cause honestly, in 1994 hey really couldn't get married, there doesn't even seem to be any loop holes, so I just did my own thing!
Also, only one more after this!!!
It was the day of their wedding. Sirius stood in front of a mirror as Harry corrected his bow tie.
"It's alright to be nervous, Sirius," Harry reassured his godfather, seeing the silent frown on the older man's face.
"I know," Sirius replied unconvincingly, his eyes still shining with nerves. He took a deep breath as Harry finished straightening his pitch-black suit. "I know."

In the room across from Sirius, Remus was having a similar debate with his best man, Kingsley Shacklebolt.
"I love him, of course I do, he's the love of my life, but... it's just..." Remus sighed sadly. "I wish James and Lily could be here..." He stared at his reflection in the mirror, eyes gazing over his snow-white suit.
Kingsley nodded. "They would be proud of you, you know. How far you've come, how far you'll go. They'd be happy."
Remus turned to his best man, a bittersweet smile on his face. "Yeah... thanks, Kings."

All the guests were sat in their chairs. The venue was truly beautiful-an enchanting forest, hidden away from anything else. The wedding was outside, fairy lights hung from posts, lighting up the setting sun.
Red and white rose petals adorned the aisle, leading all the way up to the altar where Minerva McGonagall stood, ready to officiate the wedding. Remus fiddled with his hands nervously, pulling at the hem of his suit. Minerva sent him a reassuring look.
Faint music started to play in the background as Harry walked down the aisle, his bird's-nest hair bouncing with every step. He nodded to Remus with a smile before moving to stand next to where Sirius would soon be. Kingsley was next, a rare grin lighting his face as he stopped just behind Remus.
Remus couldn't help but gasp as Sirius came down the aisle. He looked nothing short of amazing, from his long, pitch-black hair flowing down his back to the perfectly tailored midnight suit he wore. His face was alight with a mixture of happiness and excitement, though Remus saw the vulnerability shining through his eyes.
Sirius's metallic gaze found Remus's crystal one.
"You-you look stunning..." Remus found himself stammering.
"As do you," the other man replied, his lips turning up at the edges as his cheeks went slightly pink.
They stood facing each other as Minerva cleared her throat, getting ready for her speech.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of two remarkable men-Sirius Black and Remus Lupin."
Remus and Sirius shared a soft smile.
"For years, they have faced trials both great and small, each one testing their courage, their hearts, and their commitment to one another. But through it all, they have remained steadfast in their love-a love that has only grown stronger with time.
As we stand here today, surrounded by friends and family who have been fortunate enough to witness their journey, we are reminded of what it means to love unconditionally-through the best of times and the worst. We are reminded that love is not merely the absence of fear, but the courage to face it, together."
She gave a small nod to Sirius, who nodded back before meeting Remus's eyes.
"Remus Lupin, you are, without a doubt, the love of my life. From the moment I saw you, huddled on the Hogwarts Express with your nose in a book, I knew that my world would always be tied to you. I started loving you from that moment, and I will continue loving you until the end of my life. I promise that I will stand by you no matter what life puts us through, and I promise that I will always love you-through thick and thin, through good and bad, through sickness and health.
I vow that I will always be there to lend a hand, or perhaps a paw, to support you, to give you strength, and to be your constant companion. I love you, Remus, and I promise to cherish and to continue loving you for the rest of our lives."
Remus wiped a small tear from his eye as he prepared to say his vows too.
"Sirius Black, words can't begin to describe how much I love you. Your smile lights up my world, and my heart beats in rhythm with yours. When I first met you, you were a rebellious boy with long hair and a love for mischief. I remember you loving black leather so much that you hand-sewed a patch onto your Hogwarts robes. I have to say, you haven't changed much in that sense."
The crowd let out a few tearful chuckles before Remus continued.
"I promise to always care for you, to offer my strength and love when you're in need. I vow to love you unconditionally, through every high and every low, and I promise that I will always be here for you, in every adventure, quiet moment, and challenge."
Sirius took Remus's words in with an almost bewildered look on his face, as if he couldn't even imagine that the love of his life had said those beautiful words about him.
Remus's eyes glinted with love as they stared at each other for a moment, taking in the other's words before moving their attention back to Minerva.
"Now, before we proceed with the formal declaration, I will ask each of you to make a last vow to one another."
"Sirius Black, do you take Remus Lupin to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, cherish, and stand by him through all the joys and sorrows that life may bring?"
Sirius didn't hesitate. He just looked at his love and stated, "I do."
"Remus Lupin, do you take Sirius Black to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, cherish, and stand by him through all the joys and sorrows that life may bring?"
Remus wiped the corners of his eyes again, smiling softly as he echoed Sirius's words. "I do."
"Having pledged yourselves to one another in words, we now come to the exchange of rings. These rings are a symbol of your eternal love, unbroken and unending."
Harry handed Sirius a simple golden ring while Kingsley gave Remus an identical twin of it. Remus held the ring that would seal his love and slid it onto Sirius's finger. After Sirius had done the same, Minerva continued.
"As you place these rings on one another's fingers, remember that they are not just symbols of your love, but also reminders of the promises you've made here today. They are circles-never-ending, just as your love and commitment to each other will remain unbroken."
"Now, as you stand before me, having spoken your vows and exchanged rings, I am proud to pronounce you, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, husband and husband."
"You may kiss the groom."
They both broke out into massive beams as they leaned in close, pressing their lips together softly-the kiss both gentle and more powerful than any they had ever shared before.
As the crowd erupted into cheers, the newlyweds pulled back from a kiss that felt like the universe itself had held its breath. The night melted into golden laughter, soft dances, and the clinking of glasses under a sky full of stars. They were finally bonded at the heart-two souls united as one.
