"So..." Yoongi awkwardly says as Namjoon shows up at his cave. "How uh— how was your heat?"

Namjoon stares at him for a second, deciding to ignore the question while Jin sighs from where he's listening in. He really tried to coach Yoongi but that idiot alpha is hopeless.

"Are we still going to catch rabbits?" The omega asks shyly, shifting his weight from left to right.

"Yes, of course when are you free?" The elder asks with wide eyes, wishing he could just get the vivid images he keeps imagining out of his head.

"I'm free now, where's Jae? Is he still asleep?" He asks and as reply JaeSoo comes storming out, tackling the omega in a hug.

Namjoon falls back, gasping for air when he hits the ground.

"Mommy!" Jae yells on top of his lungs, the omega flinching at the shrill sound.

"I can hear you, please don't scream." He says, hugging the pup to his chest and softly patting his back. "I missed you little rascal."

"I missed you too mommy." The boy pouts, holding on to the omega for dear life. Only to get torn away when Yoongi pulls him off.

"Good morning Jea please don't tackle the little omega. Jin is babysitting you to—"

And Jae is off to find his crush.

"Ready to to hunting?" Yoongi asks, offering the omega a hand, which he takes. Helping the younger to his feet he smiles.

"You look lovely today."

"No I don't." Namjoon snaps. "I just had my heat I look utterly disgusting."

"Well I think you look pretty."

"You must be blind." The omega mutters.

"Just take the compliment!" Yoongi growls, annoyed by the younger's refusal to accept the compliment.

"Fine! Don't yell at me!"

It's clear that the two wolves get along way better than their human selves.

Namjoon hasn't hunted a day in his life but Yoongi is showing him the ways of a good hunter.

But they're barely hunting, most of the time they're either play fighting or chasing each other.

And for the first time the two met they're actually having fun. Maybe the healer was right, maybe their wolves do feel some kind of connection that their human side isn't feeling yet.

It's clear that the alpha is balancing himself out to the omega, slowing down, being less rough and most of all very protective.

Anytime Namjoon would trip and tumble down the mountain a little Yoongi is right there to stop him from falling. As if he has a sixth sense for Namjoon's clumsiness.

And Namjoon, Namjoon isn't scared at all of the big bad, growling alpha. He isn't afraid that their play fighting will become to rough.

No, he trusts the alpha.

It's weird to see the two behaving like this, considering all they seem to do, in human form, is annoy each other.

And neither of them will ever admit it, but both are scared of this date ending, because when it does it can go one of two ways...

Either good, and they live a happily ever after.

Or bad, and god knows what happens then.
