As a shiver runs down my spine, I run out of the room. I've gotten that feeling so many times in my life, I know it means danger.

"You can't run, sweetheart..."

I turn around, see nothing, and keep running until I'm outside. The air out here is cold, which it shouldn't be. It's almost summer, why is it cold? Then I see it. The darkness has come back to retrieve it's next target.

"You know what I am, sweetie, but you can't destroy me!"

"Luna!" I hear Hanna yell behind me, the sound of her running up to me getting louder. "What's wrong? You ran out here so fast, I thought you'll get hurt."

I stay silent, not giving her any attention. I keep my eyes trained on the dark creature, not moving. Its like a staring contest, me versus the Darkness.

"See you soon..."

And it disappears.

I look around frantically, not knowing who else is out here. I then look at where hanna is and saw that Dylan is right behind her, their eyes filled with worry. Hanna opens her mouth but closes it right away, turns to Dylan and tells him something that I can't hear for some reason. She then walks away, back to the house.

"Luna, you have to come back inside before you freeze." Dylan says, walking up to me.

He then draps his jacket over my shoulders, grabs my hand and walks me back to the house and to my room. I have one question: how did The Darkness find me here?

Once me and Dylan get to my room, turns to leave but I'm quick to grab his arm and pulls him into a hug. I start to cry as I try not to panic about who the darkness will go after next.

"Luna, everything's ok." He says, turning around and hugging me.

"I saw . . . I saw it again . . ." I whisper, pulling away from him.

"It'll be fine, ok?" And he leaves.

All alone in my room. No one to talk to. Nothing to do. I sit on my bed, take my locket off and place it in front of me. I can't believe that the darkness is still after me. What does it want? Why is it after me? Thats when i notice that my locket is glowing a bright red, a bright crimson red.

It floats up into the air and fills the room with the red color. I just stare at it, not knowing what to do. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the spirits of Stella and Solar, holding hands and being all lovey-dovey. Next to them is the spirit of my dad, looking down at me with those cold eyes, then my mom's spirit on the ground. Dead.

"What's going on?" I asked.

The spirit looked at me, cold eyes boring into my soul, scaring the hell out me. The eyes turned red and they started to aproach me, hands held out with small fires in each one.

"You failed us." The spirit of Solar spoke.

"You had let this happen." My father's spirit said.

"We shall never forgive you for killing us!" Stella's spirit yelled.

The walls of my room shook violently. The spirits still coming closer, tears formed in my eyes. The images of them all dead in front of me. Stella and Solar's bodies laying on the ground, lifeless. My family's bodies all lifeless in front of me, none of them moving. I had tried to save them, all of them, but failed miserably.

"I tried to save you all! I saves your souls!" I whispered harshly, tears falling down my cheeks.

"You captured our souls in that damn locket, we were rotting away!" They yelled in unison.

I then curled up in a ball after grabbing the locket and throwing it to the ground. I felt ghostly hands touch me and then all was black, pitch black.

I woke up in a cold sweat, my eyes refused to open. When I finally opened them, a bright light shined in my eyes. My eyes adjusted to it and i sat up, looking around. White walls, one window, and a door leading to who knows where.

"Luna! You're up!" Someone exclaimed to my left.

I looked over at who spoke, they had sandy blonde hair and pale skin, their eyes were a striking red.

"Where am I and who are you?" I asked.

"You're in the pack infirmary, again, and I'm one of the doctors here. Alpha said that you have to stay here until he says so, so stay in bed." They said and left, leaving me alone in this room with my thoughts.

Who's the alpha? Who's next for The Darkness to go after? Why am I still here after so many encounters with The Darkness?
