I sat up in a rush, my head pounding as fast as my heart. I had falling asleep from boredom, since I was alone in the infirmary. What was that dream about?

"Why can't I get answers!" I groaned, plopping my head down on the pillow.

Right then, that doctor from before came in with Hanna and Dylan trailing behind him. The doctor looked between all of us then cleared his throat.

"Alpha, beta, may I leave her to your care?" The doctor adressed Dylan and Hanna, they nodded towards the doctor and he left.

"Luna, are you okay?" Hanna said as she came walked up to me.

I got out of the bed and leaned against the wall. There was suddenly an amazing sent in here and my wolf was going insane from it. I kept my eyes on the wall opposite me and only nodded my head, unable to speak thanks to the sent. My wolf kept yelling something that I just simply blocked out, she gets way too annoying.

"Luna..." Dylan was suddenly in front of me, hanna on the ground, and the sent was so strong that I almost felt weak. I looked him straight in the eye, waiting for him to say more. "We need to talk." And with that, he left the room and the sent with him.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and just simply stared at the door he exited from. Hanna cleared her throat, I blinked and looked over to her. There was mischief in her eyes as I helped her up, she obviously knew what was going on while I didn't.

"Go talk to him, but be careful." With that, she also left.

I blinked a few times to clear my head and left the room, I followed that amazing sent and it led me to an oak door. I gently knocked on it and instantly, it flew open and I was pulled by the arm into the room, the door shut behind me. I'm suddenly hit by that fantastic sent and my wolf starts to yelp like mad, again.

"Luna, I'm sorry." Dylan said, then crushed his lips onto mine. I barely could react when he pulled away, pain in his eyes.

"Dylan, what's going on?" I asked once I found my voice.

"We're mates, which means that you are now the Luna of my pack."

"What?!"

"Luna, you heard me. You are the female alpha of this pack now, I'm sorry."

I looked down at the floor, tears starting to form at the corners of my eyes. How could this be? The Darkness has taken away everyone I've loved, even some others who loved me that I didn't know about. Dylan is my mate? Is the darkness going to attack him next? What should I do?

"Luna?" I heard Dylan ask, worry clear in his voice.

"This is bad. Very bad." I said, looking back at him.

"What?"

"The Darkness may be after you or Hanna next. It has taken away my friends and family, and even people who have had crushes on me."

"I'm safe, Luna. Okay? The darkness can't get me."

Dylan moved his hands to my waist and pulled me closer to him. "The Darkness cannot come after anyone in my pack, we have a way to keep it from hurting anyone here. You don't have to worry."

We just stood there staring at each other. I found myself looking at his lips and I oh so slowly getting closer to his face. Soon, we were mere centimeters apart and I could feel his breath on my face and smell that intoxicating sent. My arms went around his neck, pulling us a tiny bit closer so that all I had to do was move my head very little to just kiss him...
