I quickly stuff my bag into my locker and grab my locket, then I run to where the blood curdling screams are.

When I get there, Stella and Solar are already trying to contain some kind of dark form but clearly they are failing for the dark form is throwing them around. I take my jacket off, tossing it to the ground, and I shift into my wolf form. A pure white wolf with icy blue eyes, a very rare wolf in the world of wolves these days. I then run to Stella and Solar, growling at the dark form, and then I am thrown across the field, hitting my head on one of those things that are jumped over in track.

"Luna!" I hear Stella yell, her voice frantic and in pain.

no! This can't happen! I think.

I shift back, slowly standing up, my head and back in massive pain. The dark form starts coming towards me, Stella and Solar quickly run in front of me with balls of fire in their hands. The dark form starts to come for them, slicing at their stomachs open, trying to kill them. It then slams both of them into the ground, making blood stream down their faces and soaking their hair.

"Run!" Stella yelled, blood falling down her face and her voice filled with so much pain. She is finally able to stand up but I can tell that she can not stand for long.

"Luna, you have to get out of here!" Solar yelled, his voice full of panic and pain. He is in the same state as Stella, blood streaming down his face and he is barely able to stand.

I couldn't move. My best friend and her boyfriend are dying right in front me...

"She can't run, she can't do anything!" Yells the dark form, it's voice deep and triggers something inside me. 

"I can't do anything!? You really think that!" I say, my teeth clenched. "I won't let my friends die!" I am tired of people, and creatures, telling me what I can and cannot do, I will not allow this dark form to tell me that I can not do anything!

I quickly shift into my wolf form and stand in front of my dying friends, growling at the dark form before me. It tries to swat me away but I quickly move out of the way. I think of some ice spell, one that I can do right on the spot.

"Water flowing through: freeze up when this spell is through." I say once I shift back and place my hand on the dark form.

Instantly, ice starts to incase the dark form. I then kneel down to my friends, the light slowly slipping away from their eyes. It pains me to see them like this, so weak and vulnerable while they die right before me. Solar, with his arm around Stella's waist, whispers something that I can't hear. Suddenly, their souls are released from their bodies. I did not expect him to do that but I know why.

Solar had always known that I can save souls in my locket for it is enchanted. My mother gave it to me when she died and her soul joined with mine, giving me the ability to form and control ice. I never told anyone but Solar that, I was drunk when I told him.

I open my locket, letting their souls enter it. Stella's soul goes first, as always, then Solar's. He always followed her, through anything just to make sure she was safe. I can feel some part of their souls connecting to mine, it is weird to feel part of someone else's soul connect to your's. I close the locket and break down it tears, my hands pounding at the ground next to their lifeless bodies. I do not know why I cry over the death of someone. The dark form starts to break the ice I encased it in and once it breaks free, it vanishes right before my eyes. How!? I think. I look back at the bodies before me, standing up I get my jacket back on. The principal comes over, a group of staff members behind him, and they gape at the bodies i stand over. I just look at them, my face now emotionless.

"Luna, I am so sorry for your friends' deaths--" The principle starts.

"You are sorry!? You did not see what happen! You do not feel sorry, not at all!" I yell, my voice now booming like an alpha's.

"Ms. Luna, please calm down." One of the staff members says.

i just turn away from them, walking away.

I head home after that. I won't go back to that school for a while and when I get home, I place my locket on the kitchen counter with my jacket. Unwanted tears start to form, when they fully form and make my vision blurry, I slam my fist into the wall. I keep slamming my fists into the wall until I can't feel my hand, a feeling I wish I could have all the time. I look at my hand and see some blood on my knuckles, then I look at the wall and a red dot is growing, expanding at an extraordinary rate. The red spot then starts to consume everything touches. I start to freak out and...
