I woke up feeling quite energetic. I learned down kissing Jewel who was still sleeping peacefully. So I gently and quietly got up slipping on some clothes and sneaking out. I grabbed a bucket and put a hat on so no one would see my face. I slipped outside gently shutting the door. It was quite noicy for this early in the morning. I just walked on over to the lake nearby I wasn't the only one with this idea I noticed other wolves we're in the lake getting fish. So I scouted out a sucluted spot and stripped everything off except my boxers and jumped in. Unlike the other wolves I wasn't using a fishing pole. I swam to a deeper part of the lake before shifting into my wolf form and grabbing a huge carp with my fangs as soon as I surfaced I accidentally swam to the wrong side when I reached the bank another wolf pulled me out. 

"You okay bud. That swim must of tired you out." He smiled as I dropped the carp. Panting he handed me some water I drank it and gave him the carp for helping me. I dove in as him and his companion watched where I was going. I had no clue which direction to go so I swam back to the bank shaking my fur dry when I noticed they were waiting for me. They walked with me along the bank till we found my clothes.

"I'm Sam by the way and this is Zane." He said, hand me a towel. I changed back behind the tree.

"Thanks for helping me I'm David. I just moved in with my uncle so I'm not exactly familiar with the area quite yet." I replied changing into my human form. I grabbed my pants slipping them on.

"Well if you need any help don't hesitate to ask." He replied.

"Thanks I appreciate it." I said. When I went to grab my shirt I couldn't find it so I had no choice but to walk out when I seen Zane trying to dry out my shirt I walked over when the man threw a towel at me without looking over at me.

"Thank you Sam." I said, drying my hair with a towel.

"Your wellcoo.." Sam stopped as I looked up to see them staring at me blankly.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"Could of told me you were the wolf kings son." He assured me.

"Sorry I'm new to the whole pack idea and this is my first time even being in one so I get nervous I still don't know who I can trust." I admitted he nodded. 

"Plus me and father aren't on good terms. He tried to separate me from my mate so we kinda got into it. So I'm living with my uncle. But I'm his first born son and no one knows about me because I have a different mother." I informed them.

"Different mother?" He asked.

"Ya but this stays between us." I answered.

"Promise trust me and my mates not one to judge. You might not be able to tell but I actually used to be a rouge." Zane replied, which made me relax.

"Really my mates a rouge. So was my mother. That makes me feel a lot better I was nervous I'd be an out cast for it not to mention he's a male. If you can't tell I was raised by mortals so I'm still getting used to how things work." I replied bashfully.

"Trust me honey ain't nothing to be ashamed of alot of wolves have same sex mates its actually quite common. So relax we're all family here no matter what our origin. Eww I got an idea now that we're aquainted we should totally grab your mate and have a double date. So you can loosen up a bit and get to know each other?" Zane suggested.

"That's a great idea. I want him to have some friends neither one of us really know anyone." I smiled. He chuckled. Then we walked home. They walked in with me as I ran up stairs to wake my sleeping king. I walk up stairs to find him still sleeping peacefully. I walked over and leaned down.

"Time to get up sleeping beauty." I whispered in his ear. He smiled chuckling.

"Where were you my love?" He replied as his gorgeous eyes fluttered open.

"I went to catch breakfast for us but also ended up making some friends we came back to pick you up they want to go on a double date." I informed him. He gave me a huge grin.

"Sounds like fun let's go." He kissed me  and I pulled him to his feet and we got changed and walked down stairs as soon as Jewel seen Zane he ran over and hugged him.

"You two know each other?" I asked they nodded.

"Babe he's my older brother. Well actually we're cousins but we were raised together like brothers." Jewel replied burying his face in Zane's shoulder.

"Honey you should have told me your mate was Jewel we haven't seen each other in ages. I can't believe how much you've grown such a stallion and you've snagged one hell of a mate." Zane teased making Jewel fluster.

"Eww can I tell them?" Jewel asked excitively making his tail come out  wagging prefusally turning back to look at me.

"Go ahead love." I smiled chuckling at his adorableness. He smiled turning back to Zane.

"So guess who going to be an uncle?" Jewel asked and Zane just stared at him blankly before a huge grin spread across his face. 

"No shit your pregnant?" He blurted.

"Not me Davids caring my pups." He informed him.

"You have no idea how happy that makes me. I was always worried you'd never find your mate seince you never really showed interest." Zane exclaimed.

"That's because I already had someone else in my thoughts. I met my mate when we were just pups but I knew from first sight he was mine. The mother is actually the one that introduced us she's actually his mother." Jewel informed him and he just stared at me in disbelief.

"Wait you knew who my mother was?" I asked, he nodded.

"So who is she?" I asked.

"Mother's pretty much the queen of the rouge's she runs everything raises the pups. Shes a very stern woman that you don't want to mess with she's no joke. Shes actually the one who brought the rouge's together so she acts as our alpha. People say she's a direct desendant of the moon goddess herself since her wolf forms alot different from ours." Zane informed me.

"Some time can you take me to see her. I'd at least like to have a relationship with one of my parents before my pups are born." I replied. They nodded.

"Let's get some food first you look like you haven't eaten yet." Sam said, as my stomach growled right on cue they laughed as I flustered, we walked into the kitchen San cleaned cut and prepared the fish he caught eariler and put some in the freezer. I watched him curiously.

"We have to send in a percentage of our catch its the same for our kills we get during hunts." Zane informed me.

"Why." I asked.

"So it can be destrubuted to the starving and homeless. We might not be human but we do have compassion. Everyday we're trying to make a difference." Sam answered.

"Really I didn't know that who came up with that idea?" I asked.

"Your father actually." Zane informed me.

"Really I didn't know he could be so compassionate." I replied.

"Ya he might be a hard head and a brut at times but deep down he's actually a pretty nice guy." Sam assured me.

"Looks like I may have misjudged him." I said.

"It happens to the best of us." Zane assured me. I smiled grabbing a fresh picked apple my uncle leaves in the fruit bowl on the table. I used my claws to cut the apple. I started eating it when I caught my mate watching me intently.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing just admiring my beautiful mate." He teased making me flustered red.

"Babe not infont of your brother." I joked they laughed.

"Oh don't mind I'm just a fly on the wall." Zane joked, when I looked over to see him wrapping his arms around Sam's waist.

"What are you a ninga I didn't even see you get up." I blurted they lost it.

"Yes I'm a black belt." He joked making me almost choke on my apple. Jewel tapped my back making me caugh.

"I didn't think you'd have a come back that was a good one." I laughed. They were rolling it was the first time I seen Sam actually laugh his normally such a stiff. I could tell he was a lot older then us. Zane was around twenty three so Sam would probably be close to his late thirties. He was much more mature and wiser. Zane was still pretty engetic and outgoing. Their ages definitely showed. Sam brought us our food while Zane got us drinks.

"Can you teach me to cook some time?" I asked.

"Ya sure thing bud. I'll even take you hunting some time." He replied.

"Thank you I'm still learning how to use my wolf so I'm still a little slow." I said, he ruffled my hair.

"We all go through it at some point. Its much easier if you have a metor to show you the ropes. But trust me from what I've seen your doing just fine. Don't be so hard on yourself. For a newly turned wolf your doing a pretty damn good job." He assured me.

"Thank you I appreciate it." I replied he smiled.

"Any time bud that's what families for." He replied taking his seat. We ate me and Jewel cleaned up and washed dishes. I kept throwing bubbles at Jewel so needless to say we ended up soaked. So we had to wash up and change our clothes. As soon as we came down stairs we seen Sam hugging Zane. I never really noticed how big Sam was compared to Zane. They separated as soon as they seen us.

"Sorry for the wait we got soap in our hair so had to wash it out." I said.

"I figured after cleaning up mess you guys made in the kitchen." Sam joked.

"You didn't have to do that we made the mess." I pouted he laughed ruffling my hair.

"Its not a problem brother your our prince it's our duty." He replied. He assured me that.
