I woke up laying in a barn all bandaged up. I opened my eyes when I heard Jewel yell.

"He's my partner Nick what did you expect me to do!" He sound really upset. It made me growl to hear my mate in distress. It suddenly got quiet. When someone walked over I tired sitting up when he slipped his arm under my back lifting me up.

"Easy love don't want you straining yourself." He said, I nuzzled up against him. When a man walked over.

"How is he feeling?"He asked softly.

"Much better thank you." I said, when Jewel picked me up bridle style.

"Babe what's up with that habit of picking me up all the time." I asked.

I clenched my eyes shut when my body started suddenly growing more making me look more like my father. So I could heal faster. Jewel lifted me up I reached up caressing his cheek. "Your markings are growing." He said, I looked down seeing my marking were wrapping around my waist chest and arms. I looked at him pecked his lips gently and his cheeks flushed red. Then he smiled and started nuzzling me. I chuckled ruffling his hair. I kissed his head. The man smiled when I seen how dark it was.

"Shit pa and ma are going to be pissed." I blurted.

"I can take you home love can you stand?" He asked, I staggered getting up but he caught me.

"Easy there you got hit with wolves bayne it's a mirical your even able to move. When you get him home make sure he rest up till that wound heals." The man comanded. He nodded put my arm over his shoulder and the other around my waist to balance me so I won't fall. He walked me out and walked me threw the woods to my house. He slipped in threw my window and pulled me in he picked me up laying me down in my bed. He laid down beside me till I fell asleep. I woke up when my alarm went off. I looked over to see a note on my pillow.

'Sorry I couldn't stay I wanted to let you get your rest. Make sure to change your bandges. I'll come get you after school my love. I love you. Love yours truly.' I chuckled getting up. I changed my bandges and got dressed. I grabbed my things and slipped out my window. I walked to school. I walked to my locker when Catlin jumped up hugging me. I whinced.

"Damn what happened to you you hit a growth spurt or something?" She smiled.

"I appreciate it but I can handle myself." I informed her when I noticed Max staring at me blankly. I knew he'd noticed my markings. I quickly turned my gaze back to her.

"You do realize we're going to the pool today?" She asked.

"Son of a bitch." I muttered, when her friend latched onto my arm.

"You totally have to introduce us." She replied.

"Well he's walking me home he's a bit of a mom when it comes to my injury. You can meet him then." I informed her.

"Hey at least I know your being taking care of sometimes you really worry me you big lug. Well come on we better get to class." She teased grabbing my arm.

"So what's he like?" She asked walking down the hall.

"Amazing I can't even put in to words he saved me on more than one occasion." I replied smiling and flustering slightly at just the thought of my beloved.

"Ahh that's so cute I've known you your hole life and that's the first time I've ever seen you fluster." She laughed, dragging in the pool room. We stripped down to our swim suit. When Max walked over.

"You don't happen to be a clans are you?" He whispered.

"That noticable." I joked.

"Thought so from those markings." He said, I tightened my bandges and let my long hair down. When I noticed everyone checking my body. They turned away as soon as they noticed I was looking. I walked over jumping off the diving board. I swam to the shallow end and the young teacher ran over.

"No thanks my partners the only one who can see my body." I replied covering myself with a towel. I walked to the bench's drying my hair I slipped out the window. I ran into the woods.
