Flashback
"I just don't know about Jeremy waking up," Stefan said. "And I was hoping you and Matt could take her out for a bit."
"You think she'd be up for that?" Isabel asked bouncing lightly up and down, holding Rose on her chest near her her left shoulder, trying to burp the baby.
"I'll figure it out, Isabel." Stefan sighed. "Just can you please do this for me?"
"Since you asked so nicely..." She smiled a little. "Yes, I'll get Matt and we'll take her off of your hands for a little while. Just text me when."

"You brought me to the stoner pit?" Elena asked Isabel and Matt.
"We wanted you to see something," Matt said taking Elena's hand.
He lead them over to the wall of the building, the lower half of which is concrete and covered in graffiti. He dropped her hand and moved a desk out of the way to reveal one graffiti that said 'Vicki.'
Isabel stepped closer and ran a hand over the square black and white comic like graffiti with a small smile as Elena said, "Vicki."
"Remember when Jer was so into our sister?" Isabel asked, glancing up behind her at Elena.
Elena smiled at the memory. "When our parents died." She let out a breath. "It was his rebel phase."
Isabel stood back up as Matt said, "well Isabel and I found this after Vick died. It made us smile."
"And then there was this." Isabel walked over to the other end of the wall and moved a board out of the way to reveal another graffiti similar to the last in circular form; this one said 'J + V.'
"Jeremy and Vicki." The Gilbert girl read aloud. "Did he do that?"
Matt nodded. "After they found Vick's body, I remember thinking that things didn't feel over, you know, that there was no possible way that she could be gone forever. And then she wasn't. My point is, this town, this crazy-ass world we live in, sometimes not being willing to accept that someone is gone, is because maybe they're not...at least not completely." He told her.
"Is that really what you believe?" Elena asked, skeptical in his words.
"Yes." Matt answered honestly.
"If I compelled you to tell me the truth, is that what you would say?" She asked again, stepping a little close to the brother and sister.
Matt thought for a moment before sighing. "I would tell you that it's okay to have hope...because sometimes that's all that keeps me going."
"And I believe having hope can get you through a lot of things. It gives you something to believe in." Isabel added. "Something to keep moving you forward in the toughest times."
Elena smiled sadly, her eyes welling up with tears. "Thanks, Matt and thank you, Isabel."
Isabel placed a hand on Elena's shoulder and smiled lightly while Matt nodded. Their moment was cut short when Elena's cell phone started ringing.
Isabel stepped back and took her brothers hand. The human glanced down at their hands, then her face, then Elena. "Stefan?" Elena asked, turning away from the pair once she accepted the call.
"Hey. Damon found Bonnie." Elena looked relieved hearing the news. "The plane is there waiting for them when they get off the island. They'll be home in a few hours." The vampire informed her.
"Thank god. Is she okay?" Elena asked worriedly.
He sighed, saying, "yeah, he said she's fine. Listen, Elena. You might have been right. There might be something," Stefan said giving the doppleganger hope.
Elena quickly turned back to the pair as her face seemed to brighten up. "She knows what to do, doesn't she?"
"Let's just see what she says when she gets home, okay?" Stefan asked not wanting her to get to excited.
"Okay." She smiled. "We'll be home soon."

Isabel, Bonnie, Elena, Caroline and Matt are sitting at the kitchen table
"It's called an Expression triangle," Bonnie told the group who sat at the kitchen table. "I need to complete it for Silas."
Isabel who sat to the right of Bonnie widened her eyes as she leaned a little closer to the Bennett witch. "What?"
"Bonnie, you can't kill 12 people," Matt said sternly.
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's the only way to get enough power," Bonnie told them.
"To do what?" Caroline asked, still in shock.
"Once the veil is dropped, the Other Side doesn't exist anymore." She told them with such determination that the people at the table thought she lost her mind. "There's nothing separating us. We're all just one."
"Bonnie, you are talking like a crazy person." Caroline leaned forward and the looked the girl straight in the eyes. "You are not killing 12 people, and you sure as hell can't invite every monster who has ever died back into this world."
"Caroline, I think she knows that." Matt told the blonde who seemed to be getting a tad angry.
Elena stared straight ahead as the others continued to argue around her.
"I can do it. I have the power. We can bring everyone back- Jeremy, Alaric, Vicki." Bonnie looked at Isabel hoping to get her on her side and then the others would soon follow. "Even Kol."
Isabel's eyes widened at the thought. "We could get Kol." Her other friends looked at her thinking she was crazy for one, siding with Bonnie and two, some of the group had a hand in killing the Original and he was not one to let go of things easily. "Oh, come on guys. I could keep him away from you and take him far away from here. He'd listen to me." She hoped. She'd like to believe that the relationship they had formed would be enough to get him to let go of them and forget about them.
"Okay look, stop it. You can't just say these things," Caroline told them. "We are not doing this."
"You haven't lost someone Caroline!" Isabel argued. "Not someone supernatural. We could get them all back! Bonnie can do this!"
Caroline abruptly stood up -the chair making a loud noise as it moved back- and slapped Isabel across the face, hoping to knock some sense into her.
Everyone stared in shock as Isabel held her cheek and slowly turned her head to look at the blonde. "Listen to yourself Isabel!" Caroline furrowed her brows in anger.
Caroline knew some things about Kol from Isabel and from the one time she ran into him taking care of Rose after the church fiasco. They had a short conversation. And it was enough to know what he wouldn't want all these dead people -all the Mikaelson enemies- coming back and endangering the wolf and her child. "Kol wouldn't want this and you know that."
Isabel teared up and she nodded her head. "Mhm." Her voice cracked and Caroline's face softened. "You're right... I'm sorry."
The phone then rang, ending the conversation.
"I'll get it," Elena said instantly, wanting to get out from between the three very emotional supernaturals.
Matt stood up faster then Elena, ready to grab the phone and escape the table as well. "Elena, I'll get it-"
But Matt was cut off when Elena said, "I said I'll get it."

Isabel, Matt, and Bonnie quickly left after Elena stormed past Stefan and Damon -just wanting to call it a night and go home. Once they dropped her off they went to their own home.
"Matty?" She asked before he got out of his truck. He closed the door and looked over at his sister to see she looked deep in thought. "I'm scared..."
"Of what?" He asked, worried about her.
"Of everything. You could ask me what and I wouldn't be able to give you just one." She sniffled a little and her breath hitched. "Everything is so messed up and I just- I wish it could all go back." Her voice cracked at the end.
Matt pulled his sister into a side hug as she let the tears fall on his shoulder. He shed a few of his own tears as well. He felt the same as his sister. And he knew it was time for them to cry together and get it out. "It's going to get better, Iz. I don't know when or how but it will. Eventually."
She wanted to believe him but the amount of times she's told herself that and yet it hadn't happened. She was slowly losing hope because something always seemed to happen to them in this town and there seemed to be no escape which scared her the most. "I-I just wish everything could go back. I hate this. I hate feeling like this."
"I do too. But you aren't alone in this. You'll never be alone. I promise."
Isabel just got slapped. 🙊🙊
