I just stared at Issac as he started to walk towards me again. My body was tense, ready to attack at a moment notice. He walked slowly with his hands out. "I am half wolf but I can't shift." He said then continued, "I still have the heightened senses of a wolf I just can't shift. Plus I have the scent of a human." And of course I can mind link other creatures. I jumped slightly, less than last time, when he mind-linked me again. We need to be quiet so we'll just talk through the mind-link the rest of the time. I didn't jump that time smiling slightly when he thought to me. 

 Why are you helping me? I asked him. 

I'm tired of seeing my kind getting ripped to shreds. He thought looking down to the ground at his side. Can I touch your fur? He asked looking me in the eyes. 

Why? I asked suspiciously. 

Since I can't shift I've never felt the fur. I've always wanted to but since I joined this company I've never got to. The werewolves always run from me when they see me.  He said making a face. 

They have a reason. I have one more question then we go save my mate. Why did you join this company? I watched his face to see his reaction. 

I thought it was just a normal company then I found out they was capturing and killing werewolves. I worked my best to try and get into it so I could be like a spy and try and figure out how to shut it down. I've memorized all of their tactics and plans. I've had to a werewolf to get into it. I am ashamed but I had to do it. Sacrifices had to be made to save many. He said watching me. I growled slightly when he said that he had to kill a werewolf but I understood. Come we must hurry and save your mate before sunrise. We were scheduled to take him to the boss at sunrise. I nodded at him and followed him as he made a wide circle around the camp of the men, so they wouldn't see us coming up to the prisoners. Issac held up his hand in a gesture as to say to stop. Stay here I'm going to pretend that his shift is over and it's my turn. He said through the mind link. After I nodded he started walking up to the guard. "Your shift is over. My turn." Issac said to the guard. 

"Tim was supposed to take the next shift." He said suspiciously. 

"Tim said he didn't want to watch over the mangy mutt." I gritted my teeth at the disgust dripping from his words,  even though I knew he didn't mean it. "He's paying me to switch roles with him." 

The man was silent for a few moments then reluctantly said, "Alright, if you say so." He shrugged his shoulders and handed over the rifle to Alan. He started to walk away. I crouched and got ready to pounce on the man, just to knock him out. Then a voice in my head said, Don't. He won't tell anyone anything. He thinks me and Tim are switching roles. He doesn't know anything. I looked over at him to see his back to me and his hands held behind his back, one holding the gun. I reluctantly relaxed my body, glaring at his back. When the man passed I listened to his footsteps until I could barely hear them anymore. I walked towards Alan slowly. He's over there. He said through the mind-link, pointing to an area of dense bushes. I walked to the area and pulled the bushes away with my teeth to reveal a metal cage with thick bars. Inside was Panther.
