After the meeting ended Shadow came up to me and asked, "Can I walk you home?" 

"Yeah." I said turning to him and smiling. We walked slowly and I listened carefully and heard Panther following us. "So....." I said trying to start a conversation. "Do you think the plan will work?" I asked him turning my head to Shadow. 

"Of course it will. It was my idea!" Yelled Panther from behind us. Shadow turned his head toward the direction of where the comment came from and glared intensely.

He turned back toward me and said in a sweet calming voice, "Yes, I think it will work. Since you have the most important role then we will do perfect." He said smiling his amazing wolf smile. I lowered my head, thinking I couldn't do it. I started going over all of the ways to my role the best. Shadow's tail wrapping around mine took me out of my thoughts. I looked up at him as he said, "You're going to do fine." He put his forehead against mine to comfort me. 

He didn't move and neither did I until Panther yelled behind us, "GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!!!!!"

This made us both swing our heads to him and scream at the same time, "SHUT UP PANTHER!!!!!" We heard him running around us teasing us and laughing. I laughed as I tried to figure out where he was so I could attack him. I pinpointed where he was going to be when he came back around for another lap. I crouched waited a few seconds to make sure I got it right. About a foot before he got there I jumped to give myself time to catch him. I now I hit the bulls eye when I crashed into him and we rolled on the ground before he finally pinned me down.

"You think you can beat me in a fight by you self." He said, happiness sparking in his eyes. 

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Shadow stalking towards Panther, ready to pounce. I kept my eyes on Panther so he wouldn't suspect Shadow coming up from behind. I spoke quietly and slowly, "Oh I know I couldn't beat you by myself, but you know I'm not alone." Shadow jumped before he could even turn around. I jumped up to see them tussling on the ground for a few moments before breaking apart. I went to stand beside Shadow and smirked at Panther. "You think you could beat both of us at once? It would be a good challenge, for all of us. Besides I haven't trained in a while, it would be good for me." 

"Heck yeah I could take both of you." He said confidently. I stayed beside Shadow as we circled each other analyzing our opponent. I ignored the glare Panther gave Shadow and vice versa. I shifted my gaze back to Panther getting ready to attack. Panther jumped first, aiming his leap at me, but suddenly turned in mid-leap and aimed himself right at Shadow. I leaped at him as he pinned Shadow down.I hit him hard and pinned Panther down almost immediately and as quick as I pinned him he kicked my stomach and knocked me backwards hitting a tree. I jumped back up ready to jump back at him, but Shadow beat me to it, growling fiercely as he jumped at Panther. I watched as they tore at each other, not caring if they hurt each other. Shadow bit into Panther's back leg and pulled, knocking him down. He jumped back grinning as Panther struggled to get up, before passing out. He turned back to human, naked before I screamed, "Shadow, what the hell!" I sat down next to him. I put my paws on his back leg and pushed gently to stop the bleeding. I looked up at Shadow and frowned angrily. "Why did you use your teeth?"I asked, trying to calm myself. 

"You really have no idea?" He said quietly. 

"No, I don't. Why don't you tell me?" I said, looking back at Panther analyzing him. 

"We were fighting for you, for your love." He said and I froze and looked back at Shadow. "We agreed that we would fight to find out who gets you."
"I am not just a thing to be owned!" I said getting angry that he hurt Panther because of me. "Just help me get him on my back so I can get him to my house so he can get sleep." He comes over as I lay down. Shadow pushed Chase onto my back with his nuzzle. Shadow positioned him so I can run and Chase won't fall off. I took off not even looking back at Shadow.
