I jumped out of bed and undressed. I grabbed a loose white blanket and wrapped it around me like a toga. I exited my room and went to my parent room across the hall. I slowly opened the closed door and looked inside. My mom was laying next to my feverish father, her arms wrapped protectively around him. I backed up, closing the door behind me but I left it a crack opened. I went downstairs and grabbed a pen and piece of paper. I went to the kitchen counter and wrote,

'I headed out for the Pack Meeting at around' 

I looked at the clock on the stove and continued writing,

'8:13  pm. I should be back before 4:15 am. I love you mom and dad and I'll be back soon.' 

With that I put it on the fridge using a magnet. I went outside and walked slowly into the forest a serious look etched on my face. I started running at a slow trot slowly speeding up to run, then to a fast run. I came to my favorite tree and stopped there. I loosened up the sheet around me. I went behind the tree slowly and transformed and felt the sheet fall to the ground. I stood there panting, trying to catch my breath. I lifted one paw inspecting it and then the other. I looked around and started running towards where the territory's meet, at the four large trees. I Run past my packs camp and howl as I ran. I jumped over logs and went around boulders as I heard my most trusted wolves come up behind me. The wolves I chose to take to the Alpha Meeting.  I continued running and so did my comrades. 

I saw the Four trees up ahead and started to run faster. Tiki came running up beside me, the rest trying to catch up. Once they were all running beside me  I thought to them, Almost there when we get there we will wait at the edge. Got it? They nod their heads and continued running. I slow down as we get closer to Four Trees. I come to a complete sudden stop at the edge of the forest around Four Trees. My wolves stopped beside me and we waited, silently, patiently for the other wolves to emerge. I looked to the sky waiting for midnight to come.

We waited for what felt like hours when they finally arrived. First pack to appear was Jake's, the Eastern Pack, then the Western pack, and finally, Night's pack, the Southern pack. Once everyone was here we cautiously crawled out of our hiding spaces. I looked around to see everyone crouched low, ready to attack, while I stood high trusting my fellow wolves not to attack. The alpha's walked up to the giant rock and hopped up. I was the last one to jump up and settle beside Jake's sister. I looked at her sympathetically and and quickly looked away once she noticed me staring.  I looked at the other Alphas and nodded, acknowledging them. "I am the current alpha of the Western pack and my name is Crystal. My brother is the true alpha but he was captured by the scientist. so I am filling in while he is gone." The grey she-wolf said and bowed her head. "My name is Bone and I am the alpha of the Southern pack." The black male with white stripes said. He also bowed his head in respect. "I am Night and I'm the alpha of the Northern pack." The black she-wolf with tiny white spots bowed her head. "I am Moon, the alpha of the Eastern Pack."

"Now that we've all introduced ourselves, shall we start the meeting?" Bone said. We all nodded. "Well Moon? Your the one who called this meeting. What do you want to do about the scientists?" Bone question  looking at me. "I don't know that why I called this meeting. Plus another thing we need to do is save Shadow. So if you have any idea's please tell me." I say looking at the other wolves. "To my understanding you and Shadow were going to become mates, correct?" Crystal says to me directly. "Yes, that is correct." I say bowing my head in embarrassment. She sighs before saying, "It will nice to have a sister." She says smiling slightly. "It will be nice to not be an only child." I say releasing a sigh of relief. "It's great that you two will get along if they become mates, but right now we need to figure out how we are going to save him and the rest of the packs." Bone says coldly. "Yes of course sorry." Crystal says taking the blame. "I believe that if we can make them look like they are crazy then whoever is funding them will stop and they will go out of business." Night says quietly. "How do you suppose we do that?" I ask politely. "I haven't thought that far ahead yet." She says embarrassed. "Well we need to figure it out. Cause if we don't then the scientist will capture all of us and we will die out."
