I ran and ran not even paying attention to where I was going with tears running off of my face.I barely heard the voice from behind me say, "Hey, Northern wolf stop!" I didn't stop I just kept running not caring whether or not they caught me. I rolled on the ground as a wolf crashed into me. I laid on my back on the ground still crying. I looked up and saw a questioning look on the wolves face that caught me. "Why are you crying?" She asked me. I just kept crying not answer her. 

"Are you a Western wolf?" I asked her thinking that his pack deserved to know. 

"Yeah whats it to you?" Said a new wolf coming up beside us. The wolf that caught me climbed off and about three other wolves came up to us. 

"Just answer the question." I told them still crying and getting impatient. 

"Yes we are Western wolves. Why do you want to know?"

"I need to talk to your pack." I told them sadly. 

"You don't just go into some wolves territory and tell them that you need to talk to their pack."
"I'm the alpha from the Northern Pack. Now I have very important news that you'll want to know." I said straightening up. They had surprise lit up on their faces and a little hatred. 

"Fine. Come on." They said and two wolves led the way and the other three trailed behind me. We came to a bush and they walked through. I hesitated before following. I came to a clearing that had pressed down grass. A bramble patch made the warriors den, nursery, medicine wolves den, elders den, and a larger den made the Alpha's den. I walked to the front of the Alpha's den and waited until everyone assembled around me. When the silenced I started, " Western Pack I hate to bring you this news, but your Alpha might be dead."

I heard someone shout at the back, "Why, did you kill our Alpha!" They yelling and screaming again. 

"I didn't kill your Alpha." I yelled over them. "Humans shot him with silver bullets. I tried to save him, but I couldn't." I said bowing my head. 

A black female wolf with one white spot on her side came running up to me through the crowd. "Are you sure it was my brother, Shadow?" 

"I didn't realize he had a sister, but yes I am talking about Shadow, his human name is Jake." I said tears starting to well up in her eyes. I licked her ear and said, "I'm sorry. Me and Shadow were very good friends." I tried to think of something to say to make her feel better, but couldn't think of anything to say. 

She pulled away and said, "Thank you for telling us." 

"You  deserved to know."  I told her bowing my head in respect. 

"Thank you again." She turned to the pack and said, "I need a group of volunteers to take Alpha back to her pack." I heard about six yips from the assembled wolves, but only five of them cam forward. I heard the yipping of a little pup and a tan color she-pup came running up to Shadow's sister. 

"Please Spot let me go with them." She begged in a squeaky voice.

"Oh sweetie." Spot spoke softly. "It's too dangerous out there, Just wait in here with the rest of the pack." When Print wolf children are born the are born in human form but they cannot control when they change. So as soon as a child is born she is taken to her packs den. They will have a group of mother-wolves that will take turns caring for the pup/human. They will bring it food, water bedding, anything they need.  "You can't control your changing yet, so you have to stay here so we can protect you from the scary scientists."

"But I can take them mommy." The little pup said with a tiny growl. Wait did that pup just say mommy?!
