This is book two in the Yaspilrmeth War series. Book one is The Flight of the Dragon. Although you could skip that one, I would suggest you should just start from the beginning as not everything is explained in this book.

Now that is out of the way on to a friendly warning. This book has a lot of suggested violence as well as descriptions of it. There is talk of bullying as well as people doing it. One of the characters contemplates suicide and thinks a lot about their past, which is unpleasant. It also has a few refences to spiders like the first book but from here on the spidery ness is kept to a minimem.

That is a dark road a lot of people in this world know about. It is this humble writer's opinion that opening the way to talk about such things leads to hope being brought back to the people who have lost it. For those in that dark space, I would like you to know that no matter how much it hurts, no matter who hurts you, no matter how much you think the world would be better without you, you deserve to live! You deserve to be happy and pain-free. Look for the light and fight hard to take that next breath. The light you seek is trying to find you, but you must be here to be found.
