JUNGKOOK'S POV

Sitting in the plane, I had my arms and legs together as the fellow passenger who sat right beside me was a female. She had her ear phones on but kept looking over to my side every two seconds. The repulsion I felt towards her was strong and I fought the urge to stand up and find another seat.
Leaning close to the window, I waited for the plane to take off.

The wheels rubbed off against the runway, the vibrations were strong enough to run through my body before I felt buoyant as the plane floated in the air, ascending slowly through the clouds to achieve the ideal height.

Pressing my head against the head rest I watched the air hostess approach. She was a wolf, I could smell her. A knowing smile crossed her face and I couldn't help but smile back.

"Excuse me sir" She called out even though I was already looking at her.

Straightening up in my seat, I listened..

"May I see your pass?" She asked politely, voice sweeter than honey.

"Sure" I handed her the boarding pass.

Her eyes traveled from the paper in her hand to the seat numbers stuck above, "I'm sorry but this one isn't your seat sir. Yours is two rows ahead" her eyes locked into mine, as if she sensed my discomfort, "allow me to show you?".

"Yes, thank you" I shuffled in my seat, grabbing my jacket and phone before moving out, knowing that the hostess was lying. I obviously was in the right seat but it doesn't matter now anyway. A sense of relief washed over me as I sat down in the new seat which was two rows away and isolated. Atleast I didn't have to deal with being seated with a stranger anymore.

"Taken, I assume.." The hostess smiled down at me, helping me settle down without any unwanted contact.

"Yeah" I nodded, a small chuckle escaping my lips, "Thank you".

"anytime sir " She grinned before turning on her heels and walking away.

I unlocked my phone to stare at the wallpaper. It was Chae leaning on me with her arm around my shoulder, her lips pressed against my cheeks as I made an embarrassing face while clicking the selfie, bright before my eyes. It made me smile and frown at the same time.

Nothing could match the regret I felt as I was putting her through something, she didn't deserve. I loved this girl, and I felt like shit for not treating her right.

Groaning, I grabbed the tiny notebook I had tucked away in the cabin luggage.

Flipping through a few pages, I stared at the notes I'd made during the past few days. I wasn't going home to get some time away from Chae. I was going home to meet someone. Someone who could tell me why the bloody tattoo on my neck wouldn't glow.

I let my eyes scan over the points I'd written.

- Rise in heart rate and a feeling that almost mimicked an orgasm : what it felt like, falling in love with Chae.

- I panic and go to the pack house.

- Hobi hyung tells me about imprinting.

- I get into a relationship with her

- I can't mark her!

- A shock wave travels through my body whenever I touch her lower back. (Number of occurrences: 3)

- Her kisses get better day by day

- she IS my mate.

- I notice a Cresent shaped birth mark on her lower back, the day I pick her up. (The time when she fell in the bathtub becs she was dancing)

- I suspect it has something to do with me not being able to mark her?

- I found a new mole on my left thigh

- I don't enjoy any other woman's company as much as I enjoy hers.

Scanning through lines, relevant or not, I waited for the flight to land. I wanted to be able to go back and fix 'us' and I wouldn't miss a detail, while at it.

"So this is where she lives?" I turned towards mum as she drove slowly.

"Yeah" She grinned, "hates company".

I'd gotten home safe. Spent a day trailing behind mum. Dad was happy to have me there. I felt safe and protected for once, as I fell asleep that night.

"I haven't seen her in so long. I'm afraid she'll stab me in the eye" I laughed.

"Don't worry " mum shook her head,"She loves you too much for that".

Grinning, I looked away through the windows as the buildings moved past ever so slowly. Mum wouldn't drive fast and wouldn't let me drive either. I sat helplessly, my heart picking up its pace as I felt the excitement bubble inside.

I was going to meet someone I hadn't met for ages now. Someone  who promised to be there no matter when I showed up and...end me, I always show up when I know I can't handle my shit alone and need her help.

Knocking on the door, mother and I stood across each other, waiting for someone to open it.

"Is she home?" I raised a brow and mum only nodded before delivering another knock.

"Come in!" A loud voice, which had a sharp edge to it echoed around the house making  us straighten up.

I twisted the door knob before pushing in. The door wasn't locked.

I recognized the living room from memories buried away in the back of my mind. The sight nostalgic and comforting.

"She must be in the room" mum mumbled as we approached the stairs.

"The kitchen!" The same loud voice yelled out and I could only chuckle before changing the trail and taking the one that lead to the kitchen.

"You're here earlier than I expected " the woman smiled, her back turned to us as she worked facing the wall. She obviously had no prior notice about my plans of visiting her but she knew somehow. I found it easier to assume that it was one of her 'visions'.

Her silver hair was tied up in a bun on top of her head, a dark brown gown was underneath the creamy white apron tied around her waist.

"You knew we'd come?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Is that how you greet your granny? " She turned around, the smile on her face somehow warmed me up. She felt like home.

"I'm sorry " I apologized, staring at the wrinkles on her face which weren't there when I last saw her.

Stepping forward, I wrapped my arms around her shoulders, pulling her short, weak form to my chest. Mom only smiled, watching us hold one other for what seemed like forever.

"I missed you" I spoke, pecking the top of her head.

She only rubbed my back twice before patting my sides to let her go. I took that as a cue and stepped away, a smile now plastered on my face.

"I made cupcakes for you" She pointed at little cakes laying in a tray, pink and white in color.

"I need your help" I said, walking towards it and grabbing one, peeling off the paper around it before taking a bite.

"Of course you do. You visit me only when you get yourself in trouble" She shook her head, walking towards mum, who saw her often,  to greet her with a hug.

I watched as the mother-daughter pair hugged. Small smiles plastered on their faces, clearly happy to see the other.

I swallowed the ball of cake in my mouth before deciding to tell granny that I was here to talk about the whole tattoo issue and to ask if my mate was really my mate..

"Don't you worry" She looked at me over her shoulder, "Chae is your mate".
