While I waited for Jungkook's arrival, I listened to the story my parents had to tell me.

"You probably expected us to accept your relationship with Kook.." dad started and I nodded immediately. Of course I expected them to accept us. They loved Jungkook almost as much as I did. It was only weeks ago that mom had made Ramyeon, just because he likes it when she's the one who cooks it for him!

"You know Jungkook, sweetie, but we have known the Jeons for years now"

That information was new to me, but wasn't too shocking all together.

I listened carefully, nodding and keeping eye contact, not wanting to seem ignorant.

"His parents are doctors, well settled in Busan. The 'Jeons' are known for the quality treatment they provide and of course, for how successful they came to be in a very short period of time"

Doctors? It was a little bit off of what I had imagined, I thought his parents ran a business of their own, but I could go with this.

I knew they had left Jungkook behind, here in Seoul, for the sake of good education. God knows how many times I had brought this up to scold him whenever he failed a test or was charged for low attendance.

"You must be confused as to why we're telling  you all this.." Mom spoke.

I hummed, not knowing how else to respond.

"I was cleaning your room the other day, and I found holes in the wall"

I knew very well that this conversation was a serious one, but there was no way I could hold back the giggle that escaped my lips. 'Holes?'

It was only when my mother narrowed her eyes at me that I realized that she wasn't talking about holes. She was talking about the indentations on the wall next to my bathroom, left by Jungkook on his heat, as his nails pierced into the wall behind him, in an attempt to stop himself from pouncing on me.

"I never asked you to about those, neither did I ask you to explain why the mesh on your window was ripped off.." She continued and the memories had me gripping my seat in both fear and anticipation.

"We didn't question you about the hickey on your neck"  my hand quickly covered the skin there, yanking my shirt up to hide it.

"You left home too often.." She paused,  "and it was always to meet Jungkook" dad finished.

I wasn't sure if it was guilt or fear that was creeping up my spine, all I wanted was Kook to get his ass here as soon as he could.

"The thing is.. We know what he is" dad shrugged.

I bit my lip.

"He wouldn't hurt me dad" my voice was almost as quiet as a whisper.

"Its not about him being a wolf Chae, it's about him being a fuck boy" my mother stated.

I shivered at the word 'wolf'. They knew it all along. I was thankful I had confessed. How worse would it get otherwise?

"He has changed. He hasn't been eyeing other gi- "

Ding!!

The doorbell rang and I nearly jumped out of my seat to go open the door. I looked over to mom who gave me a small nod, telling me I could now run to the door and I did so.

The moment I swung it open, two strong arms wrapped around my waist as they pulled me against his hard broad chest, his grey hoody cold against my skin as he hugged me tight.

His hold around me lasted only a few seconds but it was enough to relieve me off the stress and pressure I felt like I was put under. I melted into him, closing my eyes for a brief moment, letting his scent surround me completely, a scent that was just so 'kook'.

He pulled away at the sound of my father clearing his throat. A small smile played on my lips because he was here, yes, and mum and dad had no issues with Kookie being a wolf. They had a problem with him being a playboy..which could be fixed!

We made our way back to the dining table as mom set a plate for  the boy who had just arrived.

She served quietly as her eyes shifted from his plate to his hand which was holding onto mine while we sat beside each other.

"Go on, take a bite! I made the sauce " father cheered happily as if we didn't just have a conversation about werewolves and claw marks on my wall.

Jungkook obliged quickly, taking a spoonful before looking up at my parents with a small smile on his face, "Its delicious.."He took another bite, "as always" he added.

"Prepare yourself for an awkward dinner talk Kookie" dad laughed. I squirmed in my seat as the boy looked over at mom who had her questions ready to be thrown at him.

"We know you're a wolf"

Jeon coughed, choking on food. I was prepared though. I handed him a glass of water and he downed half of it, in no time.

"Sorry" he excused himself, setting the glass down to look back up at my parents. I expected him to be uncomfortable and low key panic at the thought that my parents were aware of his little secret but he seemed to be relieved and confident which built some courage in me.

"And that you're dating my daughter?" The way mom put it, it sounded more like a question than a statement.

"Yes ma'am, I am " he confirmed in no time, giving my hand a squeeze and  I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face.

"I'm sure your parents wouldn't object.."

Jungkook shook his head, "they haven't met her yet, but I'm sure they'll love her".

"Chae tells us that you have changed? That you don't do things you used to do -" Mom narrowed her eyes at him.

Kook placed his spoon down to look up at her. "I know I've been an asshole and a great one at that. But things have changed a lot over the past few months. I loved her when she was my best friend and I love her now that she's my mate " his voice was firm and assertive, "She is and will be the only woman I love" he finished.

Dad let out a sigh and looked over at mom who kept her gaze on us.

"Mate.." They spoke.

I nodded and so did Jungkook, which was followed by another few seconds of pure silence.

"You get tattooed when you first change, don't you?" Dad raised a brow, breaking the ice that was threatening to form.

I looked over at Kook. I had indeed noticed a tattoo on the side of his neck. In fact, all of the boys had it. It was the only other tattoo they had in common except for the little 'B' they'd gotten, to signify that they all belonged to the same pack.

The boy nodded as he let my hand go. He tugged at the side of his collar, to reveal it. It was a perfect circle, the size of a bottle cap, with sharp rays directed inwards and tiny little alphabets written in a language I didn't know of, topped off with a Crescent moon at the heart of the circle.

"Hold Chae's hand" Mom ordered and Jungkook quickly reached out to do so.

"You do know that your mark glows when you are in direct contact with your mate right?" Dad furrowed his brows and i looked over at Jungkook's tattoo which wasn't glowing.
