Inside the dream:

You were running,you didn't know what you were running from but you were just running,you knew what would happen next but you didn't at the same time,like it's happened before but also didn't,you knew exactly what you were supposed to do but when you turned around it wasn't the same as 'last time'

(this isn't symbolic or relevant to the story it's just the weirdness of dreams,am I the only one this happens to? Like you kinda know what's gonna happen like you had this dream before but you know you've never had the dream before and what you think is gonna happen happens but kinda differently)

Voices in your head began to taunt you...

You're not free

You never were

They will find you

You'll go back

Even if you don't

The nightmares will always haunt you

You'll relive it over

And over

And over

And over again

And there's no escape...

Your head darts around violently,you blink for a second and when you open your eyes your surroundings changed

...You were back...

...Back in hell...

...And he was there to greet you...

"WELCOME BACK BITCH!"

End of dream:

"Aahhhhh"

You awaken with an ear piercing scream,you were soaked with sweat and tears,in complete shock and trauma you just lie there,trying your best not to close your eyes as if you would be sent straight back there if you were to do so

After a few minutes of sitting there in pure terror you decide you stink from the sweat and tears so you walk into the bathroom to take a shower...

After the shower:

Now that you no longer smelt like sweat and ptsd juices you call up your friend Georgia hoping she would make you feel better....

"H-hey Georgia"

"Hey,are you okay?"

"Yeahhh no,I can't explain exactly but I feel terrible right now and need some georgia magic"

"Say no more buddy,we need a friend sleepover ASAP,meet me at trin's place,I'll call her up now"

"Thanks g,you really know how to make a dude not dead inside"

You hang up and grab a pair of clothes shoving them into a backpack with your phone and wallet,once you were done packing you checked your alarm clock for the time

...2:38 am...

Pretty late but nothing a good cup of coffee won't fix,you go and fix yourself some coffee,drink it,then leave to go to trinity's house...

Trinity lived with her parents,not really a surprise she lived with them since she was seventeen,it was actually quite bizarre that you live on your own,not because you're eighteen,that's okay,but because you have been doing so for three years so you got the house at sixteen,you were turning nineteen in two months so there was that...

You were walking down the dimly lit streets,your breath hitched due to the cold,you glanced to the side only to see a dark figure in an alleyway close by,you looked away and then back at it again,searching for it,but it was now gone

Meh,not the weirdest thing you've seen in this town at night in an alleyway...don't ask...you don't want to know...*cough*decapitated cat with chicken legs*cough*

You continue on down the street,you then hear a *ping* noise coming from your pocket,you pull out your phone and type in the password,chuckling at the anime meme background that trinity put on your phone lock screen last summer

You go to messenger and click on the first name on the list,it was Georgia texting you the address just in case you forgot,she was such a worry wart,heh,you ponder on this thought while texting her back that it was okay and you already knew the address

You just sent it along with a dumb cat meme that had a gay joke slipped into it

you had told your friends your were gay last year,they were fine with it and now you just like to send memes and puns about it back and fourth,it's kinda a running joke with you over text...

You had just sent the text when suddenly,out of nowhere...

*thud*

"Oof"

You fell to the ground after bumping into an unknown something,or shall we say,someone...

"OH GOODNESS,HUMAN I AM SO SORRY,I DID NOT SEE YOU THERE ARE YOU OKAY?"

You got up,brushing yourself off and picking up your phone when you turned to the person who had just spoke,he was a tall skeleton,Wait a second!,he was that skeleton you had seen on the news when monsters were freed,sweet...

"Oh uh yeah I'm fine it's okay,sorry I wasn't really looking where I was going my bad"

"WELL IM GLAD YOU ARE OKAY,NOW I MUST BE ON MY WAY,I AM GOING HOME TO MAKE SPAGHETTI!"

You and the strange skeleton parted ways,walking in opposite directions of each other,him walking past(a) you (puns for days 🤣) and you continuing on the same path as you had previously been doing...

Trinity's dad retreated back to the living room and you walk into the house immediately being greeted by your friend who was offering an apology for her fathers behaviour,you tell her it was fine and you both join Georgia in her room,you talk about whatever until the conversation about boys pops up suddenly

You all talk about crushes and giggle and stuff until the topic shifts over to who you like,you answer with a simple...

"I don't really 'like' anyone per say,guess I'm just forever alone,meh whatever"

You looked at her and gave her your best 'neutral face of displeasure'
