Moonlights POV:

the storm kept getting worse. "Willow, we need to get back to camp, now! Before it starts raining!"

the wind started howling a warning, and thunder crashed in the distance. Soon the wind grew so strong, it began to pull us back a little. " Willow! We need shelter, NOW!! IT'S A HURRICANE!!!" we spotted a strong, sturdy cave about ten wolves( 60feet) away. "OVER THERE MOONLIGHT!" Willow yelled, pointing at the cave with her snout. We were now at the point where we had to yell to hear each other. The thunder and lightning Cracked and the wind screeched.

we finally made it to the cave and went to the back. There we looked at our surroundings, to make sure there were no signs of other wolves, coyotes, or coywolves, a vicious hybrid between a wolf, and a coyote.  We only smelled raccoon, but the trail was a few  full moons old ( a few months). "  I think it's fine Willow, lets go to sleep now, I'm pretty tired.  I ran all the way to hollow  tree, crossed a fast stream, and ran through the  woods, all the way back here!" I said. " I'm pretty tired too, it took me a little while to find you.  How about first thing tomorrow morning, we catch a huge buck!"

" yes! The pack will be really happy, all that's been caught are a few rabbits, and a raccoon."

Willow Pov:
I woke up in a forest I didn't recognize with no moon or stars. "Hello is anyone there?!" I screamed with no reply. "Hello!"  I heard no reply again. I was about to give up when I heard a voice... "So, you've finally come, Willow, one who shoots fire." A dark wolf came out of a bush ahead of me.
"Who are you? Were am I? How did I get here?" I threw question after question to this stranger but he didn't answer any of them.
"You have been summoned to the forest of battle, hate, evil...and death!"
I back away in fear. "W-hat?!?!"
"Welcome my apprentice to your new home!"
I woke with a start. "Who was that!"

Moonlights POV:

I woke up In a strange  forest. Several dead trees, and the sky was dark. No moon. No stars. "Willow!I yelled. Where are you!?"  I smelled something strange, but familiar. Deja vu-I believe humans call it- "Moonlight,   the lightning wolf." His voice  boomed. " I have been waiting for you." Flames grew among us, brighter and brighter they grew. "W-where am I?what have you done with Willow? If you've done anything to her I will-" the voice chuckled. "you are a feisty one. I like  that.  You are in the forest of hate, evil, and battle. I welcome you, my apprentice, to your new home!" I flattened my ears and snarled.  The wall of fire grew,  and soon I was engulfed  by the flames.

"wha!?" I  Jumped up. What was that!?"  I asked. I found myself in the same place as  willow. She looked as shocked and scared as I was.  "Moonlight, did it happen to you too?" Willow  Asked me. "you mean the big scary dream where a wolf knew who and what we are?and he said we were finally home and called us his apprentices?yeah, sounds about right."

Willow POV:
I looked at Moonlight  and saw my fear reflected in her eyes.
"Hey! Be quiet!" I look over to see who said that when I realized it was Scratch, the third in command to the Alpha! The only wolves that are above her are the Beta and the Alpha himself!
"I'm sorry scratch!" I said flicking my ear apologetically.
"Thank you. Now, what were you talking about?"
"Well...your going to think we're nuts but we both had the same dream! And it was pretty freaky!"
"Well it sounds cool and I'd love to hear  it tonight but for now you and Foxclaw are leading the Dawn patrol."
"K, we'll see ya later." I walked around the camp waking up all the wolves I wanted on my patrol, including Foxclaw and Moonlight. We walked out of camp like brave warriors but in my heart I felt nothing but fear.

Moonlight POV:

I looked at Willow and saw my face reflecting in her eyes, both our eyes filled with fear. The dream had left me uneasy, but I was  more comfortable knowing Willow was leading the patrol. I forced my self to  look  fearless and alert, trying to hide my fear, but inside I just wanted to melt into the shadows to hide.

"I found something!" Barked Juniper, one of the older warriors. We walked over to her and saw a rabbit carcass. It smelled fresh, and all around it were unknown scents. None of the wolves, coywolves, or coyotes  smelled like this, maybe a lost leash wolf(dog) although I doubt they could kill their own prey, especially a rabbit."Willow, what do you think it means?" Asked Foxclaw. Willow sniffed it. I dont know, but we need to tell alpha about it. Look at these tracks! They are huge! She barked.

after our patrol,  Willow  asked for Alpha.  He soon came, took Willow into his den, not inviting me.

Willow came out a little while later. " I'm going to check on Claw." She seemed sad. Was something wrong with him? I knew we should have taken him,to the human's den. "can I come Willow?"

WILLOW POV:
I walked to the healers den with Moonlight close behind. "Healers? May we come in?" I said quietly through the vines covering the entrance to the healers den.
"Come in Willow. But only you!"  They said sternly.
"Alright Moonlight you stay here." I tired back around and headed into the healers den. "Claw? A-are you okay?"  I whispered.
"He can't hear you Willow." 
"What! What do you mean?! Why not?"
"He slipped into a deep sleep and hasn't woken up. We're afraid he may never wake up."  The lead healer said looking at Claw in respect as well as honor and sadness.
"B-but he has to wake up! If he's just asleep-" the lead healer I tripped me.
"No! He is more than asleep, he is in a deep,deep coma, in sorry there is nothing we can do! He is in the hands of The Creator now!" I looked at them in shock then looked down at my apprentice leaned down and whispered in his ear.
"Good night Claw! I'm so,so sorry! My apprentice." Then I got back up turned around and headed back out.

Moonlight Pov:

" how is he?" I asked as Willow stepped out of the den, head, tail and ears drooping down to the ground. She looked up at me, her once pride filled eyes now  filled with sadness.  "Moonlight, Claw is in a coma, he might never wake up, there's nothing the healers can do for him..." She whined. I walked up to her and put my tail over hers for comfort. " the Creator will take care of him Willow, lets  go back to the den and get some rest."    we walked back to our den in silence, Willow's nose dragging on  the ground the whole way.

Willow and I both lay in our nests,  Willow still wide awake, while I slowly drifted off...

I heard a loud yelp and whining behind some bushes, and trotted over to check it out.  It was Tiger, stuck in a human trap! Her fore paws were broken, I could tell just from looking at her. I turned my head to  a loud  thunderstick(gun) fire, and saw  a human hunter. I looked the other direction, and saw what he shot-Willow.blood  fell from the wound on her head, and she was laying down.  I walked over to her and nudges her side.  " get up Willow!"   she didn't, and she wasn't breathing any more. I growled and turned my head to the human hunter. " you'll pay for what you did!" I growled. BOOM! He fired his thunderstick(gun) at me.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" I woke up howling. Willow looked up at ne questioningly. "are you okay Moonlight?" She asked. "I had bad dream, that's all, I dont really want to talk about it.  " I told her, and started to walk out of the den.

" where are you going?"

"I'm going to go train."

I  kept walking until I was out of the den, then ran to my training meadow to practice. Hopefully it will take my mind off my dream.

Willow Pov:
I watched Moonlight walk out of our den then lasted my head back down and closed my eyes. As soon as I closed my eyes I saw Claw running through the forest at full speed heading to the training ground with me in pursuit. As soon as I saw him my heart melted, Claw is like pup I never had, I chased after him until we reached the training ground then he turned around and smiled. I woke up smiling at what I had saw. I got up and walked out of me and moonlights den then agent to the healers den to see Claw. "May I come in !" I said in the quietest whisper I could.
"Come on in!" The healer said. I walked in to see Claw sitting up in his nest talking to the healers. He looked over at me as soon as I walked in the door and yelled- "Willow!"  He ran out of his nest and tackled me to the ground. "I'm so glad your okay Claw!" I breathed.
"I'm sorry if I scared you!" He said worriedly.
"You did a little but it's okay just don't do it again!" I said pushing my self back up and lead Claw out of the healers den and into me and Moonlights den. "Here you can rest here." I said leading him into my nest. "And I promise as soon as I can I'll get you training again!" Then I payed beside him and watched till he fell asleep and I lated my head down closed my eyes and followed his example.
