Moonlights POV:

I could feel it. My enemy was coming back. He would come to conquer the wolves, and all woodland creatures, nobody, not even humans, would be safe from his army.

" Moonlight... Moon... MOONLIGHT!!! ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!!" screamed a familiar voice. I sprang up, ready to attack.... Nothing. " Willlll!!!! You know I dont like that! Go bug someone else......" I wailed, not wanting to get up today.
"Dont call me that! And we are supposed to go on a hunt today, better go now while the deer are still resting. And today will be hot, very hot." Willow told me, nudging me with her nose. I grunted.
"fine, I'm coming."

we walked through the woods, to a beautiful meadow, where we saw an enormous buck. He was a seven racked,600 pound stag, looking beautiful. Perfect for a wolf pack meal. Willow and I crept upon the deer, him not noticing us, nor the piercing red eyes that was tracking my every movement. I wasn't even sure if Willow saw them. I hope not, and I hope he doesn't steal our buck. We saw this stag first!

Willow's POV:

I crept up on the buck as quietly as possible keeping my tail as low as possible just skimming the ground. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw a pair of gleaming red eyes. "Moonlight look!" I said quietly lightly bumping her on the shoulder. "Who is that?" I looked over at her and saw fear.
"It's our packs worst nightmare."
I looked over at her in shock. "What? Who is that Moonlight?!"
"Scavenger... He has come."
What?" I exclaimed. He's just a character in a story pup watchers tell to their foster pups to scare them into not leaving camp...he can't be real!
"He has come!" Moonlight yelled.
I backed away slowly my tail tucked tightly in between my legs "M-Moonlight l-lets go b-back to c-camp!" I turned and dashed back to camp I turned my head and saw Moonlight running behind me. I slowed for her to catch up when I saw a dark figure following is in the woods! "Moonlight run!!"
"He has come!" She whispered.
"He has come." I know now he has come!

Moonlights POV:

'Scavenger.... He.... He lives.. It is true, my dreams.....' I thought as we ran. Willow was about to howl a distress call, when I stopped her. " No, it will only make things worse, the best we can do is stand our ground."

we kept running. I would keep my abilities a secret, Scavenger could use it against both of us. We soon came to a cliff. Our options were jump off the cliff and die, or face Scavenger and die. Take your pick. Suddenly, a white wolf with emerald green eyes and a silver streak across her back jumped from the bushes in front of us. She spoke  in a language only Scavenger's family would know. Scavenger finally left, and the wolf walked toward me.  "Hello Moonlight and Willow, my name is Silverstreak.  "h- how do you know our names?"  I asked.  She chuckled saying, "Do you not recognize your own  alpha's  daughter?" Something in my mind snapped. Of course!   we bowed.  "how did you not get killed by Scavenger? "  I asked. "he  is my father, but when  I was just a pup, your alpha found me, and took me in, after Scavenger  left me. His pack is unknown, even by me, but he will spare lives, sometimes. You are lucky I was around, or you would be dead for sure!  We should get back to camp,  Scavenger will be attacking  soon. " we all walked in silence for the rest of the way back home, and fell asleep  quickly, and for once, my  dreams were peaceful.

Willow POV:

I woke up next to Moonlight, the shock from last night was still very real in my mind. Alphas daughter is really Scavengers daughter! It's all still very confusing, I don't know what to believe anymore. Is Alphas daughter telling the truth?  If so, does alpha know? Ugh!
"Come on Moonlight time to get up, it's almost hot sun (noon) already!"
"Alright, alright I'm up!" She stretched and yawned the headed for the entrance. "Moonlight, was last night all a dream or did we really get saved by Silverstreak?!"
Yes, I wish it hadn't have happened, but it did and their is no turning back!" I looked into her eyes to see not the normal glitter that usually fills her eyes but pure darkness. "Come we must worn Alpha of this danger!"
"Yes because we need to be ready when Scavenger comes or we will all die!"

Moonlight POV:

Willow  and I hurried to our Alphas den to warn him. Once there, we barked,  and a female voice said, "come in." We walked in, Alpha sitting  next to silver streak,  who tilted her head  a little.  We bowed, and sat up, waiting for alpha to speak. " state your business." He boomed.
"sir, it's  Scavenger, he has come, we must prepare." Willow told him. He looked at Willow, then me, and then Silverstreak., before standing up,  and  and saying, "My daughter told me this, I have already sent   wolves to investigate. She also told me you are capable warriors, and are perfectly capable  of leading a team, so I have made you leaders of our warrior wolves," he put claw on his paw, and gave each of us  a law print on our paws, the mark of the warrior. " it is an honor, we will lead the best we can to protect our pack." Willow and I said. Think of that! Leaders of the warrior wolves!!! And I'm only a year old!"
