Willow Pov:
I walked out of my den that I share with moonlight and headed to the kill pile.  "Willow your on morning patrol!" I heard from beta. I looked up surprised.
"Y-yes Beta!!" I said a bit startled.
"Sorry if I startled you Willow!!" She said laughingly.
"It's alright beta. Would you like to share?" I said dipping my head respectively.
"I would love two! But only a little, I don't like two eat two much before a hunt with Alpha, he likes to set the pace fast!" She whispered to me laughing.
"Ya, I've only been on one hunting patrol with Alpha, and though I enjoyed it, I was out of breath half way through!" I whispered back laughing with beta.
"Beat it's time for patrol!!" Alpha howled over two Beta.
"Oh, Willow there was a reason I came over to talk two you!" She said after nodding her head at Alpha.
"What?" I said tilting my head to the side waiting for her reply.
"Alpha and I want to see you and Moonlight in his den after we get back!" Then she took one last bite the got up and headed for the entrance were Alpha was waiting with the rest of the patrol.

-----------SUNDOWN-----------
"Willow me and Alpha would like to see you and Moonlight in Alphas den now." Beta said walking up to Willow.
"Yes Beta I'll be right up!" I said getting up and headed for the den and got Moonlight then headed right for Alphas den and entered right after Beta. I crouched into an submissive position. Digging my head into the dirt I front of Alpha.
"Rise Warrior Willow and Warrior Moonlight!" Alpha said flicking his tail.
"Yes Alpha." We said getting up and flicking the dirt of with my tongue.
"Thank you! Now let's get down to business! As you know this pack has been with out an Alpha female for SEASONS now! It's time for me to name a new one!" Alpha said sitting up.
"Wow!! Who are you going to name?" I said tilting my head in wonder.
"Well...I've thought good and hard and I have decided that Beta shall be the next Alpha!!" Me and Moonlight looked at Beta happily.
"Congratulations Beta!!!!" We said excited.
"Thank you both!" Beta said excited.
"Beta has worked long and hard for this position! I've also decided on a new beta!" Alpha said excited.
"Who!!" Me and Moonlight said in unison.
"Lava! He has shown great strength and loyalty! He will make a great Beta!"
"Lava! He will be so happy!" I said excitedly.
"Yes! And we have three sentinel positions ready tome filled sentinel one, two, and five!"
"Really who will fill them?!"
"Well... You, Moonlight, and Riverstone! Moonlight you will be sentinel one! Willow you will be sentinel two! And Riverstone will be sentinel five!"
"What?!?" We both said in unison.
"You herd right, you are both now sentinels!"  SheAlpha said. "Congratulations!!" Alpha said dipping his head. "Me and my second In command will announce it tomorrow at sun up! Now go get some rest!" Alpha said dipping his head.
"Yes Alpha! And thank you!" I said turning around and followed Moonlight out. "Wow!! We're sentinels, Willow!!" Moonlight said jumping of the rock in one jump then dashing into me and Moonlights den like a pup.
"Yes! And we're going to show our pack that we deserve it!" I said filling Moonlight. "This is only the beginning!"

Moonlight POV:

Wow, another rank higher! Wait until Tiger and Claw hear about us! Sentinels play a huge part in the pack. We still hunt, just not as much. Our main job is to guard the pack. We go on border patrols regularly, and we even get to go to the alphas' and Beta's meetings!this is going to be so exciting!!! If only my mother- the only one who cared about me- could see me now! When I was a tiny pup, I always dreamed of being a sentinel, protecting my littermates and mother from all the dangers.

Soon, I drifted off to sleep.

-dream-(in Third person)

" mama!! Help me!" A black pup screamed, her blue eyes flooded with fear. A tan and white wolf just looked at her sadly. "mama! Don't let them hurt me!!" The pup screamed agian. Wolves howled the hunting song, and charged the black pup. She ran and ran, until she arrived at a little cave. The wolves had stopped chasing her a few fox leaps back, so she crept into the cave. She smelled wolf, and felt something soft, before backing put of the cave and shrieking. A Forest pack wolf! She was on Forest pack territory!"Shush! We can't let anyone know I'm host anyone from Breeze pack!" Whispered the white wolf with tan on her chest and forehead-sorta like The black wolf, but instead of black and white, the Forest pack wolf was white and tan."D-does that mean i-I can...s-stay?" Asked the pup."of course!"they two walked into the den, and fell asleep. Everything became black, then a familiar figure came into view. Moonlight ran to it." Mother!!!" she cried. "I am glad to see you have grown up to be such a wonderful wolf, just as I knew you would."Moonlight's mother praised. " mom, I've missed you."

"I know you have.but I'm in danger, and you will be too, bur I can help you. I can tell you how to defeat the enemy who is coming. "

"mom, where are you? I can come rescue you! You can live with the Forest pack."

" no. Dont worry about me, I'm fine."

" please mama, I can't   loose you agian."

"fine, I am in Breeze pack's Alpha's den, in one of his cells. bring more wolves with you, Breeze pack is heavily guarded. And beware, beware of the enemy. He is coming." Black engulfed Moonlight agian, and she jolted awake.

-end Dream- (back to first person)

"Willow, Willow, wake up!" We need to get Tiger, and Claw, if he is strong enough. " I told my friend, nudging her sides. "but what about" Willow paused, and yawned. "the Meeting?"

"forget about that, we need to save Mother, and any other wolf there. We are going to breeze pack territory."

WILLOW POV:
I was woke up to hear Moonlight prodding me in the side and whispering urgently. "Willow, Willow, wake up!" We need to get Tiger, and Claw, if he is strong enough. " I looked up at her drowsily. "But what about...*yawn*...the meeting?" I asked tilting my head at her still drowsy.
"forget about that, we need to save Mother, and any other wolf there. We are going to breeze pack territory." She said nudging me again.
"Alright, alright I'm up...but your going to have to explain about your mother." I said sitting up and giving Moonlight an confused look. "Not to be insensitive, but I thought your mother died your you were just a young pup?" I said confused.
"So did I! But I had a dream confirming  that she is alive! We have to go find her!" I looked at her with shock.
"O-okay y-you lead the way." I said getting up and heading out into the cold morning breeze. "So we're do we head first?" I asked turning around to face Moonlight.
"Well at the end of my dream my mother said she was in Breeze packs camp being held up in alphas den!" She said looking at my with fear, and I think I detected a bit of confusion.
"Then I guess we head for Breezepack territory!" I said turning around. "You lead the way!" I said allowing her to get in the lead.  "We have a long way to go! You have done the most patrols in that area so you are the natural choice of leadership!" Moonlight looked back at me.
"Off course!" Moonlight said jokingly turning around and headed for the entrance to camp. We headed out into the forest the early morning dew wearing out paws and threatening to slow our pace.
"Ugh! This darn morning dew! It's going to slow our pace down!" I exclaimed.
"Not if we're careful!" Moonlight stated, though I could tell shes just as agitated as I am.
"I know but are we close to breeze pack territory? Because the sooner we get there the sooner we get back!" I pointed out.
"Yes we are close, and I know I'll try to get us back in time for the meeting!" Moonlight said quickening our pace. We walked for quite a bit longer, till we reached breeze packs border with Forestpack.
"We're here."Moonlight stated solemnly.
"Yes! And we're going to do what ever it takes to get your mother back! I promise!"

Moonlights POV:

"Thank you, Willow."

'Hang on mother, we'll  save you!' I thought, hoping mother could hear me. I glanced behind me. The apprentices were slowing down, they couldn't go on much longer. I stopped to let Tiger and Claw catch up."Willow!" I called.  "Hold up. The apprentices." Willow slowed to a stop, and came up to us. "Tiger is small enough to fit on my back. Claw  is too. But first, we should take a break."

"But your mother-"

"I know Willow. But to get to her, we all need to be strong enough.we need to gain our strength.  Tiger? Can you teleport the geese?" I asked. "i-I guess..... I can try."

"good. But now, we rest, and gain our strength to fight. Follow me." I led my friends to a water fall. "here?" Claw and Willow asked in usion. I continued walking, right through the waterfall.  Willow , Claw, and Tiger hesitantly followed. "Wow!" Claw awed.  Behind the waterfall lay a secret cavern,  sparkling with blue,    green, orange, purple, and lots of other colored gems. I led my friends  to  the back of the cavern,  a smaller area with 8 nests, all still intact. "we  can sleep here for now." I told them, laying down on my old nest. " I'll tell you about this place later....... Now ......isnt  a good time..

Willow:
Willow looked over at Moonlight and saw her distress at the place she grew up...I wish I could comfort her...but she would not appreciate me pointing out her weakness...at least not now. I laid down next to Moonlight pressing my side against hers to give her a bit of comfort. Then I rested my head on my paws and fell asleep.

I woke up early in the morning and crept out of our makeshift den and sat just outside the den and watched the sun rise over the trees turning the leaves golden. "Willow? What are doing up so early?" I turned to see Moonlight creeping up behind me. "Just watching the sunrise! Isn't it beautiful?" I asked as I scooted over so she could sit beside me. "I love waking up early and just watching the sun rise over the trees!" I said letting out a happy sigh.
"It is beautiful! B-but we have to get going soon..." I dropped my eyes down to the ground then lifted my eyes in determination.
"Yes! I'll go hunting if you get Claw and Tiger up!" I said bounding away.

I returned by the time the sun was fully up in the sky. "Moonlight! I'm back!!" I yelled heading to the den. Then all of the sudden I got hit from the behind, I almost attacked until I heard the laughter. "Moonlight? Get off!" I jokingly nocked her off and pounced on her dropping the three rabbits I had caught on her face laughing. "We're's Claw and Tiger?" I asked stepping off of Moonlight.
"They are in the den come on! They'll be hungry!" We picked up the prey and headed to the den to eat what we had picked.
