Present day, Moonlights POV:

"remember when I first started living here?" I asked my friend, Willow.
"of course I do! How could I forget that?  Your lucky alpha let you stay.  not many wolves from the Breeze Pack end up here, most of them want to be loners anyway."
I sighed at what my friend said.
"Yes, but what I don't get is why we start up wars anyway, especially for no reason.  I remember once the leader called war on a rock."  I laughed a little at that.  He wasn't the smartest alpha out there. Then again, breeze pack males don't go to hunting school, or get any education for that matter. Well, except  how to be a good leader.  Occasionally there is a male wolf cub who does decide to learn to hunt, and they  become great leaders. Here it's much  different. The wolves here are peaceful and kind, but where I lived as a cub, wolves broke out in  fights, and alienated anyone who wasn't a wolf in their pack.  I was brought out of  my train of thought  when Willow nudged  me and asked, "Moon, Do you want to go on a walk?" I looked up at her and replied, "sure, where are we going?"  she walked out and told me, "you'll see." I was hoping it would be relaxing, like going down to the lake for a short swim. What? You thought wolves dont swim? Your thinking about the breeze pack! Forest wolves love to swim!

Willows POV.:
I walked into the den Moonlight and I requested for us. "Come on, Moonlight, get up, it's already sunup!"
"W-What?!"
"It's sunup, get up!"
Alright, alright I'm up!"
We walked out of the den and headed to our favorite sitting area around a small pond.
"Hey Moonlight lets go on a walk."
"Where to?"
"You'll see!"
I raced off smiling at the bewildered look on her face!

"Alright Moonlight come here." I said calling to her.
"Close your eyes and I'll guide you. Do you trust me?" I asked.
"Y-Yes?"
"I'm going with it come on!" I wrapped my tail around her neck lightly and slowly led her to the lake and let go. "Alright open!"
"The lake?"
"Yes the lake isn't it beautiful!"
"I guess."
"What do you mean 'I guess'?  Look at the water and the moon reflecting off of the top!"
She looked down at the shallow water and I saw her eyes stretch wide.
"Wow I've never looked at the lake like this before!"
"Well if course not!"
"What do you mean?"
"Well no offense but you BreezePack wolves are so busy  running that you don't notice all the beauty in the world!"
"Alright I'll give you that!"
She looked over at me grinning, then dashed forward and jumped in!

Moonlights POV:

the lake water felt so nice after all that hard running. "ya comin'?" I called to Willow. "I'm coming, I'm coming!  Willow jumped in and water splashed all over my face. We played in the water  until the sun was high, the day was already half over. "Well, we'd better start going back, today is the big hunt."  I told my friend. "you're right Moo, race ya there!" Moo? That's not my name, not even my nickname! "get back here!" I chased after Willow, but other things were on my mind.

I don't know why so many Breeze pack memories have  aroused.  That life is  behind me, I'm with a new group, but what really was bugging me, was something that I had hoped would never happen.  I can tell something is amiss in the country, and I need to be prepared. Willow and I are the only hope, even though Willow doesn't know that yet. She doesn't know what she is, but she will soon

I arrived in our den, exhausted.  The hunt  was sooooo long, and we didn't  even catch anything! "we better get some rest Willow, Alpha said tomorrow we're going out early for a pack hunt. " Willow nodded, and  plopped down beside me, and we both fell asleep.
