Third Person POV_______

Jiraiya was a lively man. Before Naruto knew it he was out of the village with the toad sage himself.

"From what Sensei last told me, he had told you about your mother, Kushina." Jiraiya spoke up once they were far from the village.

Naruto nodded slightly puzzled at the sudden conversation.

"Did he ever tell you about your father?" He asked and Naruto shook his head. Jiraiya frowned but let out a sigh.

"Your mother was Kushina Uzumaki. But you already knew that. I know the old man wanted to keep this hidden until you were chunin. But with his death and Akatsuki it's best to clear the air." Jiraiya stated as they traveled down the road.

"So you knew both of my parents?" Naruto asked and Jiraiya nodded.

"Yes, you'd think they'd make me your godfather without knowing me? Bah, anyways I think at this point you do need to know." Jiraiya stated with a nod.

"Kushina was your mother and Minato Namikaze was your father." Jiraiya stated and Naruto paused. He stared at Jiraiya in disbelief.

"Think I'm lying?" Jiraiya asked and Naruto stared at him without responding.

"Then why did he... why did he choose me?" Naruto asked as his hand unconsciously made it's way to his gut.

"Why he chose you, who knows. All I know is that he gave his life to create that seal that's on you." Jiraiya shrugged, before letting out a loud sigh.

"We think someone attacked your mother. We don't think it was a coincidence. That's why everything about your past was hidden away. At some point, the same people that killed Minato and Kushina would come after you." He added as he looked over at Naruto.

"Who do you think it was?" Naruto asked as he started walking again. He looked down at his hands and picked at his fingers as he waited for Jiraiya's response.

"At first we suspected it was another country. Then we figured it was someone who held a grudge towards Minato. Nowadays we think it could have been Akatsuki or someone that had been targeting your mother and not your father. But in all honesty, we will never really know who attacked your parents." Jiraiya finished as he placed a hand on Naruto's head.

"Meaning that you have to get stronger. With all that's happen who knows when they will decide to attack again." He says and naruto nods.

"So how about I teach you your father's technique?" Jiraiya asks with a small grin and Naruto nods excitedly.

"Its Itachi! He's after Naruto! Kakashi was already taken down and if we don't go now we won't be able to stop him." Sasuke snapped as he placed back and forth.

Sakura pursed her lips before leaning back and biting down on her thumbnail.

"But Naruto left with Jiraiya, besides how the hell are we going to find them?" Sakura asked as she cocked a brow at him.

"I'm not letting my friend get killed by that man. Either you're coming with or you stay behind." Sasuke growled out as he turned and slipped on his tanto.

"Tch." Sakura snickered as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Don't get ahead of yourself. I never said I wasn't going. I'll go with you to save Naruto, but I am not fighting an S class Ninja you hear! We are going in and saving Naruto's behind and we are getting the fuck out of there. I am not ready to fight an S class shinobi." She says as she lightly punches his shoulder.

"So make sure to keep your cool and don't get your panties in a twist." She says as she turns around and starts to pack her things.

"Did Naruto tell you where he was going?" Sakura asked and Sasuke shook his head.

"We can ask what direction they went at the gates. I guess from then on out we have to track them." She says with a sigh as she pulls her hair back and nods.

With that, the two of them rushed to the village gates in order to find their teammate

Naruto sat in the inn room trying to meditate. He whimpered slightly as he used his good hand to massage the hand he had been using for training.

The Rasengan required better chakra control and a large chakra output. And because of that his tenketsu in his hand ached from the practice.

Jiraiya had left to go to drink or do whatever he did in those bars.

Naruto was content staying in the inn.

He let out a loud sigh and laid down on the bed. He could smell the clean sheets beneath him and wondered if he should just take a nap.

Just as his eyes were slowly closing there was a loud knock on the door.

Naruto jerked up at the sudden sound. His ears had always been sensitive so it had scared him.

He let out a yawn and stretched slightly as he got up.

"Be there in a second." He called out as he went to open the door.

He could feel something off.

As he opened the door he came face to face with two men wearing black cloaks with red clouds.

His eyes widened in confusion before he remembered Jiraiya's description on the Akatsuki.

"Naruto Uzumaki, please come with me." The dark-haired man stated and for a moment Naruto was frozen in place.

The man looked eerily familiar but at the same time completely unknown.

"Itachi-San why don't we just cut off his arms and legs so that he won't get away?" The blue-faced man stated behind 'Itachi'.

Naruto tried to step back and bring his hands together to try and escape but the blue-faced man swung a sword wrapped in bandages and all of his chakra dissipated.

Naruto was cornered, that was until he saw tiny flower petals around them.

Knowing his teammate's attack Naruto jumped back in order to avoid the tiny explosive tags

The loud explosion forced Itachi and Kisame back.

"Go! Go! Go!" Sakura yelled as she ran into the hotel room and hooked her arm with Narutos and she was dragging Sasuke with her.

Sasuke seemed ready to protest as he saw his brother. He wanted to fight but Sakura pulled him along.

"Fuck!" She yelled as she jumped and barreled through the glass window.

The window shattered and the three genins tumbled out of the third floor of the inn.

"Sakura! My duty is-" Sasuke yelled out trying to pull away from her.

"Your duty is not to fucking die. Ya think you can handle to S class ninja?" She snarled out before grabbing both of their hands and running.

"Naruto your gear." She turns to the Uzumaki as they start to run.

Naruto looks down and realized he had removed all of it except his uniform because he was about to go to bed.

"Forget it." He shrugged as they ran through the crowded streets.

There was a loud explosion behind them.

Sasuke glanced back to see Jiraiya blocking Kisame and Itachi from them.

"We need to hide." Naruto stammered out as they ran.

"No shit." Sasuke grumbled as they turned to an alley.

"Ya know. I really did think they were going to kill me." Naruto stated as he panted. He was trying hard to catch his breath and calm down.

"How did you know they were coming for me?" Naruto asked them both a bit confused.

"Itachi attacked Kakashi Sensei. He was knocked out. I was going to hunt for Itachi but I figured I should take back up so I told Sakura. She then insisted on coming." Sasuke stated and glanced at Sakura who crossed her arms.

"Well, first and foremost I wasn't going to let you come here and commit suicide by trying to fight. The best chance we have here is running." She stated as she cocked a brow.

"I chased them off." A deep voice said and the three of them jumped slightly.

"Pervy sage you scared me." Naruto grumbled as he noticed Jiraiya.

"Kami, I'm stuck with the three of you. Aren't I." He frowned as he looked over the three genins who all smirked
