(Behind stories with time skips from Tae's understanding)

(On the morning after Tae and JK's encounter by the lake near Tae's neighbourhood)

Taehyung turned to his side and extended his arm to find the empty spot left behind by the raven head. His previously occupied spot was still carrying his lingering warmth.

"Where is he?" Tae lifted his head to scan around his medium room, to find no sign of the raven head. He was half asleep as he brought his feet to the ground and went out of his room in search for the raven head.

"Kook-..." Tae's small whisper came to a halting pause when he heard murmurs of two voices familiar to him in the living room.

"Yoongles?" He wanted to make his presence known when his feet stopped abruptly with a sickening lump forming on his throat. He can't believe what was he hearing as he stayed behind the wall which separated his trembling body from the views of Jungkook and Yoongi.

"Yoongi...you know he is my mate right?"

Taehyung's eyes widened when he heard Jungkook's raspy voice, almost like a threat towards his brother.

"You know how important mates are to each other right?" Again, the brown head's brow furrowed in confusion. What the hell is Jungkook blabbering about?

"Then why the hell would you think I will allow anything to happen to my mate?"

Taehyung's confusion only continued to spike. He wasn't sure who was Jungkook referring to as his mate. The word itself sounded so comical and fanatical to the brown head.

"Geez, sorry for being overprotective about my brother. You don't have to hold me against it."

The brown head's ears picked up his brother's mockery. Brother? Tae pointed at himself while digesting Yoongi's words. Why would Yoongi want to protect him and why does Jungkook have a problem with it?

"Good, coz from now onwards, please don't stop me from nearing Taehyung or forbid him from meeting me."

"Oh Jungkook, there is one more thing I need to let you know."

"Yea?"

"Ace healers will distract possible threats in any form as soon as they start to bloom in power. By the look of it, I think Taehyung is nearing the danger which we might not be prepared for."

"I will fucking murder anyone who dares to touch my mate."

Taehyung quickly pressed the palm of his hand on his mouth, forbidding himself from screaming out loud. What the hell did he just hear? Did Jungkook make a murder threat towards whoever that hurts his mate? What did Yoongi meant by Taehyung is in danger?

The brown head's head spun like clothes in a washing machine. He was feeling a little light-headed with all the missing parts of the information he was forced to digest. He could just barge into the living room and confront his brother. But he knows that there is no point in doing so as he strongly believes they will hide the truth from him.

Hence, he chose to retrieve back to his room and sneaked under his blanket with a shocked expression and active mind pulling the pieces apart.

"What the hell is going on?" Taehyung felt the curiosity crawling up his neck. Surprisingly, the bits of information he heard only made him even more attracted to Jungkook and the way the raven head so possessively claimed him, sent an exciting shiver down the brown head's spine.

Moments passed and the brown head stayed in his bed with multiple scenarios playing through his mind. He was equally taken back by the fact that he wasn't even overacting to such strange comments and information. Oddly enough, he was calm and felt a sense of adventure taking over him.

"I need to find out more. I need to see Jungkook."

Although he has no plan to ask direct questions or bombard his brother, Taehyung knew that if he were to start somewhere for the missing puzzles, it has to be Jungkook. Slowly and surely, he started to align his bubbling feeling towards the raven head male.

Taehyung was never a fan of Jungkook on the day of their first meet. He found the boy to be arrogant and snobbish in a way he can't explain. Tae also couldn't understand why would his circle of friends who are so nice and kind tolerate with Jungkook as if he is their king or something.

Fast forward to the days when he slowly saw the wall on Jungkook's first impression breaking apart, Taehyung found himself admiring all the little details and behaviour of the raven head. Maybe, the said male wasn't an arrogant piece of shit after all. Jungkook just needed time to warm up.

It was safe to admit that at that point, Taehyung was developing a tiny crush on Jungkook. He was feeling good and positive towards the raven head. Hence he knew that whatever he heard between Jungkook and Yoongi is not a trivial matter, it has more importance and weight to it which Taehyung needs to find out.

The said determination brought him to Jungkook's mansion in which he found the true blood concentrating in his study when he barges into the raven head's home. Taehyung tried his best to keep his curiosity and lack of information aside while he genuinely tried to explore his possibilities with Jungkook.

The brown head was fascinated when he saw Jungkook's mural on his bedroom wall. One thing that stood out the most for him was the painting of a giant black werewolf on a cliff with a bright purple crystal stone shining above the wolf. The raven fur wolf looked so real and magnificent, it shocked Taehyung on how familiar it appeared to him.

All the intimate incident happened during their movie time was purely on Taehyung's full consent. He was on a secret mission to find out more about the weird conversation and happenings, but at the same time, he didn't want to stop pursuing his heart's desire for Jungkook.

Some of the things that shocked Taehyung was how would Jungkook's eyes switched to either a bloody red or sparkling silver whenever they are alone. All the time when Tae would call Jungkook out on it, the raven head politely denied the acclaims.

It bothered Taehyung that Jungkook is lying under his nose, but he knows that his very own brother probably is hiding something since the day Taehyung was born.

The whole fiasco happened when Jungkook received a call about his father and Tae ended up in a new neighbourhood whom Jungkook claimed his father came for a visit at. Taehyung's mind at that time could only focus on how broken his lover boy looked with his father laying helplessly on the bed, looking sick.

Taehyung felt so sad and so triggered to just send a prayer for Mr Jeon the more he sees the older man laying sickly on the bed. So, he did what his heart triggered him to. When Taehyung was quietly tucking Mr Jeon on the bed, he stroked the older man's hair and closed his eyes feeling an overwhelming feeling popping through his veins. He wanted Mr Jeon to get better and he focused on the positive thought.

Of coz, in Taehyung's eyes, no miracle happened. But for Jungkook, that was when he noticed from the couch on Tae's ace healing marks glow brightly indicating the brown head's manifestation on his ace healing powers.

The next thing that Taehyung can feel was Jungkook's naked body under him. He didn't know what encouraged his behaviour nor his thinking when he brought Jungkook to Garden of Nem, a place which he discovered on his adventure.

There is probably nothing to recap over here apart from the fact the two males made enough love to seal their void, making Jungkook the happiest human-wolf alive. Taehyung didn't know that his sole action in making love with Jungkook sealed their mate bond deeper than his thrust into the raven head alpha.

What didn't Tae expect was another round of unexplainable conversation he eavesdropped at Jungkook's mansion between the raven head and Yoongi. Everyone believed that Taehyung was taking a nap as he claimed he was tired, in which he was. Not until he woke up briefly to get some water from the kitchen when he again accidentally found himself caught between Jungkook and Yoongi.

Taehyung found out a little more on their plans and what shocked the brown head was when his brother claimed that Tae was in love with him and Jungkook reciprocated the same. At that very moment, Taehyung was caught in a dying pain on his head making him whimper. He quickly retrieved to Jungkook's room and hide under the blanket.

Too much.

Too much information and his body felt like it was burning. Tae gripped onto the back of his shoulder and tried to control the striking pain. He didn't want to scream to alert anyone as he focused to keep his breathing on point.

"JUNGKOOK!"

That voice broke his concentration. He wanted to run towards the sound but stopped when his phone rang indicating a call from someone he knew. He wanted to ignore the call but the continuous ringing annoyed him further. Without thinking twice, Taehyung answered the call.

"Hello?"

What happened next was not something he envisioned. Jin laid unconscious on the bed. He was not moving. Namjoon was losing his mind and the rest stayed shocked on the ground.

"Can I have a word with Joon Hyung? You guys can wait outside the door." Jungkook's word rang inside Tae's mind but his very own thought started to juggle between the phone call he received and the scenes unfolding in front of him.

After putting up a weak fight, Taehyung was dragged by Yoongi to the corridor, away from the brothers and Jin's lifeless body.

Taehyung was unhappy. He didn't like how he was being ignored and excluded from the discussion. At that point, Tae was positive that all the members apart from him are hiding a very big secret from him. All of them are lying to him and he slowly started to grow agitated.

"Can I get a hug Tae?"

Taehyung's confused thought was snapped back to reality with the raven head's pleading voice. His hazel eyes soften and heart ached when he saw the raven head male held himself together in front of him holding his sanity at the end of the rope.

Tae obliged, although he was pissed and slowly getting out of control with his thoughts, he still fulfilled the request and even brought the raven head's lips to his own. Taehyung was confused and hurt, to say the least but he can't seem to get mad at Jungkook when the raven head looked so disturbed.

"I love you Tae."

The brown head's eyes shoot open as he was slowly detaching his lips from Jungkook's. "W-what?"

"I love you bun. I know now is not the ideal time to tell you how I feel for you but I just feel that I need to do it now. I need to confess my love."

Jungkook leaned in, stole another kiss from the shocked brown head as Taehyung fought back his tears with mild anger. He was frustrated. How can Jungkook so easily confess when he is also hiding a huge truth from the person he so-called loves?

"You don't have to reply to me Bun, just know that I love you regardless of anything yea? You are my life Tae, never forget that." Jungkook gently placed his lips on the brown head's forehead, hands holding on Tae's cheeks like he is the most precious thing he has ever possessed.

Taehyung was petrified on his spot. He couldn't reply the raven head nor can he react physically. He just nodded and waited for Jungkook to excuse himself after the raven head male asked him to wait in his room while he talks to the rest.

Again, Taehyung was mad that he was excluded like trash. He wasn't happy.

With the slowly boiling anger rising in him, he took out his phone and dialled the person who called him not too long ago.

"Hey. I'd like to know further. I will meet you as you asked me to. Right now."

With that, Taehyung looked back one last time at the closed door to the study and walked away to the backyard where a male waited for him with a proud look on his face.

"I promise you Tae, I will not disappoint you like Jeon."

This chapter is more on the back end parts from the day Tae started to suspect something was wrong with JK & Yoongi.
He knew something was up but he didn't want to confront them. Hence he started to pay a lot more attention to his surrounding and at the same time he explored his feelings towards JK too.

Next chapter will be back to the present time.
