"This is the library, and next I'll bring you to the football field."

Jungkook was speaking like an autotuned machine, walking around effortlessly on the campus ground with a steady speed, leaving Taehyung to catch up with him.

The brown head at the back was slowly starting to regret his life choice. He genuinely thought it probably wouldn't be so bad moving to Shadow College after having a soft encounter with the blond head earlier.

Taehyung honestly liked Jimin better than this Jungkook. He just finds the raven head very monotonous and emotionless. I mean, he didn't even spare Tae a single look since they walked out of the admission office.

Not to mention, he has been acting like a very poorly paid tour guide, moving along the venues like it was his daily boring chores for the money he receives.

"Can you slow down?"

Taehyung came to a stop after jogging briefly behind Jungkook who was ahead of him, stepping to an empty field. It looks spacious and big enough to even hold a stadium concert.

"This right here is-...huh? Pardon?" Jungkook noticed the brown head was saying something while gasping for air.

"I said can you slow down a little? Are you on a sprint run or something?" Taehyung unconsciously rolled his eyes, which was caught by the unamused Jungkook.

He hates it when someone rolls their eyes at him, his alpha status felt challenged. Jungkook let it pass this time, thinking that Taehyung is just a mere human, he shouldn't react as such.

"Fine. Are you really that unfit?"

"Excuse you. Rude much?" Taehyung came back with a sass after finally catching his breath. It's too much of physical activity catching up on the raven head in such early hours.

"Then come on, we are not even halfway done with the tour."

"I don't need a tour of the damn campus. It's time for my class anyway, I'll just take it from here." Taehyung said, wanting to get rid of the raven head.

"It's my job to usher you to Shadow College." Jungkook furrowed his brow, feeling the brown head's ungratefulness getting into his nerves.

"I know, you've been everything but a help since the start. I think I can manage on my own. Thanks by the way." Taehyung didn't speak further as he snatched the pile of his papers from Jungkook and waved him bye.

"Fucking entitled little piece of human. Urgh." Jungkook growled lowly to him after Taehyung's brown head disappeared into a far distance, leaving him alone in the space.

The raven head alpha was feeling steamy with anger and very uncomfortable after the short unproductive encounter with Tae. He then resorted to dropping his bag by the benchers and took off his shirt for a run around the field.

.

"Ah, I'm so fucking stupid. Where do I find the class then?"

Taehyung who walked a fair distance scratched his brown head while looking around for potential assistance. It was his continuous bad luck that he didn't see any passerby.

"Fine, I will just go back to machine boy then."

He swung around and head to the field to ask Jungkook for some useful direction. As he stepped into the vicinity, his jaw dropped to the grass field.

"Holy moly." Taehyung notices his own baffled state and quickly closed his agape mouth and shut it with his hand.

There, he saw Jungkook was doing sit-ups, flexing his hard rock physique with abs on perfect display each time he sits up. His body was glistening under the shimming rays of the golden morning sun, making him look ethereal.

The raven head was working hard in the middle of the field, half-naked. This certainly created heat on Tae's face as he turned away from the scene, calming down his racing heart. He couldn't understand why but taking a second glance at Jungkook only made his heart thump even louder.

"I-I can locate the office and ask Madam Lee. Yea. Smarter move."

Taehyung fanned himself down and walked away quickly before being caught by Jungkook for checking him out.

Too bad, the alpha smelled the human's scent as soon as he walked into the field. Jungkook just couldn't be bothered and continued his workouts while he senses Taehyung's heartbeat increasing each time he ascends from the ground, doing his sit-ups.

Jungkook even purposely flexed himself with his arms behind his head, accentuating his muscles further. He smirked to himself when he saw Taehyung ran away abruptly without addressing him for the reason he came back.

"I guess you'll be a little fun after all." He chuckled as he finished his express workout, took his shirt and went to the gym shower to freshen up. Perks of technically owning the college, Jungkook has all the amenities prepared to suit his needs.

.

"Um, crap. Where do I find the office again?"

Taehyung's attempt to locate the admission office was a total failure coz he couldn't retrace his steps to the earlier venues. He was lost, completely.

"Taehyung?"

He turned around when a familiar high pitched voice called out his name.

"JIMIN! OMG YOU'RE AN ANGEL."

Taehyung quickly ran over to the blond head who was holding a cup of orange juice in his hand, looking surprised to see the brown head alone.

"Are you lost or something? This is not your section of classes though." Jimin notices that Tae was lost in the section where usually only werewolves would be around, as they are in a way separated with the schedules for a certain syllabus that only caters for wolves.

"Is it not? I was looking for history class and here-..." Tae pointed at the signboard but he was surprised when he noticed the word 'authorized students only'.

Taehyung didn't know what it meant.

"Oh, that? Ha, its for those advanced students who take ancient histories. Not many are allowed to take it."

Jimin spoke half the truth and ignored the other half, hoping that the brown head won't come in with more questions.

"Besides, you're an art and film major isn't it? Your building is in the south." Jimin pointed at a grey building far down the campus ground.

"Oh, I guess I am really lost." Taehyung smiled, showcasing his boxy grin.

"I thought Jungkook will be guiding you, is he not?"

"Um, I sort of ditched him."

"You what?" Jimin was shocked, oh man, Jungkook's pride must have been hurt.

"Yea, he talks like a machine. Like an auto-tuned machine. Besides, he walks super fast, like he is running. I don't find him useful at all."

Jimin chuckled. It's been a while since someone dared to sass Jungkook. People around here knew he was the heir to the Shadow Pack and the son of Shadow College's CEO. Taehyung is really something else.

The blond beta's laughter died when he saw a figure appearing at the back of Tae while the brown head continued bashing on how ignorant Jungkook was, being the welcome committee.

"Also, he wasn't even very warm to me, are you sure he even qualifies to become a welcoming committee? I mean no offence, I would have preferred you over him any day."

Taehyung's blabbering stopped when he saw Jimin was looking at the back of him uncomfortably while clearing his throat, trying to hide his smirk.

"Then maybe you should request for your buddy to be switched. Fine with me."

Taehyung felt a hard knock on his shoulder from the back when he notices a raven head walking past him after bumping into him rudely. He only then realized that it was Jungkook and he must have heard his rants.

"Rude." Tae still stood by his comment on the raven head.

"Don't mind him, he is a bit off till you get to know him in person. Come on then, I will be your guide for the day!"

Jimin chuckled as he saw Jungkook walking away. The blond head's college life felt more purposeful now with the presence of the new transfer. Besides, Jimin felt a strong pull towards Taehyung, which means his Omega nature is urging him to protect the brown head at all cost.

Which is why he kindly took Tae to his first class and waited for him to finish, before walking him to the cafeteria, ushering him to sit with his group during lunch.
