"Hyung?"

Yoongi looked up from the dish he was preparing on the stove when he heard his little brother's voice greeting him.

"Yes Taebear? Just woke up?"

Yoongi tried to sound oblivious to whatever happened this morning and pretended like he didn't know Jungkook spent the early morning sleeping in with his brother.

"Are you alone? Where is Jungkook?" Taehyung looked around his room and came down when he didn't spot the raven head anywhere.

"Jungkook? There is no one here. I woke up a little late this morning, currently preparing lunch. Didn't see Jungkook. Was he here?"

Yoongi plopped a small cherry tomato onto his mouth as he wiped his fingers on the towel over his left shoulder. He walked to the centre island and held onto the marble surface while Taehyung took his seat on the barstool across him.

"Yea...I brought him home. I woke up a little earlier for a morning walk, stumbled across Jungkook and we crashed in for a nap. Didn't know he would leave without saying bye."

The alpha just nodded and dished the noodles on a plate for his brother as time was nearing lunch hour making the brown head's stomach protest in hunger. The mealtime continued with a small chat and Yoongi lecturing Taehyung about getting enough rest over the weekend post the mishap on the day before.

Following the intense talk which both Yoongi and Jungkook had, the raven head promised that he will kill anyone who dares to take his mate away from him. He walked out soon after excusing himself afraid that Taehyung might walk into them discussing on the serious matter.

Although Jungkook didn't like it, he agreed to Yoongi in keeping things oblivious for Taehyung until they find out a couple of matter bothering them such as the mint scent which lingered around Taehyung's bedroom.

That specific conversation infuriated Yoongi as he clenched his hand in a painful fist when Jungkook said he could smell another wolf on Tae's bedroom when he entered this morning.

"What the fuck? Are you saying someone invaded Taehyung's room last night and even ruined his sleep without me knowing?"

"Calm down Yoongi, there is no need for you to start raising your voice. But yes, that's what exactly I am saying. I'm surprised you didn't check on Taehyung."

Jungkook did find it very suspicious on how did Yoongi allowed such a big mishap to happen.

"I had a rough night as well Jungkook plus there can be many more reasons to why I can't smell the presence of another wolf. Besides, I am not a true alpha. There are certain scents we can't pick up if the owner of the scent decides to disguise it."

This statement freaked both of them even more as soon as Yoongi finished his sentence.

"Fucking hell. Then there is more of a reason why I should be around Taehyung. Like 24/7."

"There is no need to do so Jungkook. I can still keep an eye on him. Last night was a mistake because I wasn't stable emotionally. From now onwards I will keep my emotion in check at all time and will not allow my focus to quiver."

"Until I figure out who this might be and why the person is invading into Taehyung's personal space, I will keep a watch Yoongi. I will personally guard your house hereafter."

Yoongi nodded. He knows that this is for the best. No one will dare to mess the people under the Shadow Pack Head Alpha's protection.

"Thanks, Jungkook."

The raven head nodded and said he will be in touch with Yoongi before heading back out. Jungkook took one last sniff in the air and left smiling when his nose filled his entire sense with Taehyung's addicting scent.

After the departure of the raven head true alpha, Yoongi directly headed towards the yard behind Taehyung's room and checked on the tall pine tree which could easily be used as a ladder for Tae's window.

"Bloody asshole. Must have used this to climb in." Yoongi even noticed a few broken branches and decided to cut the entire tree down as soon as Tae wakes up from his morning sleep.

"Yoongles, I will be heading out for a bit. Don't wait for me."

Taehyung grabbed his car key and ready to head out. He thought about going casual since it's a weekend with a simple black t-shirt, fitted khaki joggers and a nice red bandana around his forehead swiping his brown bangs behind revealing his masculine forehead.

"Where to?" Yoongi was busy working through his next week lecture as he looked up from his glasses and piles of paper.

"I thought about visiting Jiminie."

"You're gonna drive for almost an hour to meet Jimin?"

Yoongi raised his brows. He knows Taehyung was giving excuse coz both Jimin and Hoseok are on their way with boxes of pizza to have a chilled weekend with him.

"Um yea? It's not my fault they live like a million miles away. Plus I got used to the distance, it's not even an hour anymore." Taehyung grinned, trying to display his cutest antics in getting approval from Yoongi.

"Taebear, I thought I asked you to rest over the weekend."

"But Hyung...I'm fine. Look!" He started doing starfish jumps indicating he feels good and his shoulders don't hurt anymore.

Yoongi rolled his eyes but couldn't contain his giggles. Taehyung is such a little child whenever he acts playfully.

"So pretty please...can I visit Jiminie?" He swirled the ring of his car key in his index finger with a prominent pout in his face.

"Well..."

"Hey fellas! Pizza squads are here!" The front door was barged open with Jimin holding boxes of pizzas while Hoseok grinning with two huge bottles of sprites on his left and right hand.

"J-jimin?" Taehyung gulped. He was caught lying.

"Hey Taehyung! How are you? Feeling better?" Jimin didn't read the awkward situation between the brothers. He was just grinning happily seeing Taehyung looking better than he did at the hospital.

"F-fine. Hey Hoseok..." Taehyung rubbed the back of his neck and lowered his head but titled it just enough to watch his brother trying to hold his laughter through the corner of his eyes.

"So? I thought you said you wanna visit Jiminie?" Yoongi smirked as he caught his brother lying through his nose. Taehyung was standing like a kid being busted for stealing the chocolate from the candy jar.

"Hyung..." Tae whined.

"Alright, just admit you want to find Jungkook and get out." Yoongi took off his glasses and crossed his arms.

"H-how did you-..." Taehyung was cut short by Hoseok who finally got the whole situation figured out. He smiled sheepishly at the brothers before placing the bottles on the coffee table not too far from Yoongi.

"Um, you may leave Tae. Jungkook is home alone today. We will be here and Namjoon is out of town with Jin. Mr Jeon brought his wife for a family gathering across town, they won't be back till Tuesday morning."

Taehyung nodded but quickly scrunched his brows together not understanding why was Hoseok smiling giddily while revealing all these information. Not that he didn't appreciate it but he just finds it weird.

"Thanks, Hobi."

"Off you go then before Yoongi changes his mind." Jimin whispered at Tae as he was still standing pretty close to the brown head.

Taehyung nodded instantly and yelled his farewell before busting out the door.

"You guys!" Yoongi groaned. He is slowing accepting Jungkook and Taehyung being together as mates, it doesn't mean he will serve Taehyung in a silver plater to the true alpha. Who knows what might Jungkook do if he gets hormonal.

Oh shit!

"TAEHYUNG! COME BACK!"

Yoongi was yelling as Tae's car engine roared and disappeared on the road, a little too late for the older to stop even if he wants to.

"Come back here you protective little alpha, let that boy enjoy his bonding time." Hoseok pulled Yoongi back by snatching the hem of Yoongi's shirt, making the alpha to drop his ass on Hoseok's lap.

"Oh beta. You didn't just call me little." Yoongi was on a full triggered mood as he turned around with the darkest snicker as he could see how mortified Hoseok looked.

"And you, come here." He turned back to see a shocked Jimin standing with pizza boxes on his hand.

Obediently, Jimin placed the boxes on the table before moving closer to the smirking alpha.

"So...who shall I teach some lesson first? Um, how about both?" Yoongi wet his lower lips with a swipe of his tongue making both Hoseok and Jimin to whimper in pleasure.

On the other side of the town, Jungkook was fresh out of his shower as he immediately headed into his dad's study room which is now technically his since the day he completed his head alpha coronation.

He picked on all the relevant reports and books with keywords such as Crusaders, Dark Days, Ace Healers, Guardian Packs when the book in his grip dropped on the floor as soon as his mind was invaded by something.

"Taehyung?"
