Morning came and the sun warmly greeted Taehyung who was still drooling from his peaceful night of sleep.

Yoongi walked in quietly to his brother's room and pulled the curtains wider apart allowing more rays of sunshine to peek through.

"Taehyung ah...wake up."

Yoongi was standing at the edge of the bed smiling as he saw Taehyung was lying face down like a starfish, both arms clutching onto a pillow.

"I swear this kid has the weirdest habit when it comes to sleeping." Yoongi shakes his head although he couldn't stop the giggle as he picked up one of Tae's pillow which is now stranded on the floor.

"TAEHYUNG!!! WAKE UP!!!" Yoongi yelled as he kept hitting Tae's bum with a pillow making the younger to jolt awake.

Taehyung jumped out of his sleep and sat on the bed as he clenched the pillow close to his chest pouting.

"Urm...Yoongles?" Tae peaked through one of his eyes while the other was shut closed as he was not able to take in the morning rays of the sun.

"Yes, it's me. Now wake up sleepyhead. It's 6 30 am. You need to report to school by 815 am."

"But it's too early!"

"Tae, you're new to this school, you will have to register. You also have to navigate your way through since the place is new."

"But Hyung, you will be with me, so why do I have to bother much?"

Yoongi was collecting all the pillows from the floor and one by one he stacked it on the bed while continuing his effort to make the younger move out of his nest.

"Oh about that. I won't be in until next week. My start date is a little different from yours."

"WHAT?"

"Yea, so now you know why you need to be early."

Yoongi stacked the final pillow and ruffled Tae's hair while the younger whined and buried himself underneath the mountain of pillows and a warm blanket.

"BE READY IN 30 OR ELSE NO BREAKIE FOR YOU..."

Yoongi said as he walked out of the room, down to the kitchen as he noticed Taehyung was crawling into the blanket. He knows his brother loves to eat, so threatening him with breakfast is a perfect way to ensure he is never late.

"FINE!"

Taehyung jumped out of his bed resulting in all the pillows and even his blanket to fall out of the bed. Totally wasting Yoongi's effort earlier in picking them up.

"HYUNG? CAN I HAVE BACON AS WELL?" Taehyung yelled at Yoongi as he heard pots and pans clicking from downstairs indicating the older was preparing him breakfast.

"OK, THEN BE READY IN 20 MINS."

Taehyung quickly ran to the bathroom stripping himself on the way not wanting to be late. He surely did shower and got ready in record time as within 15 mins, he was already seated in the dining table waiting for Yoongi to serve him his delicious breakfast.

"Geez kid, did you even shower?"

"Hyung! I did, I was like a ninja. Now, where is my bacon?"

Yoongi chuckled as he placed a huge plate in front of Tae, serving him a classic English breakfast which his Lil brother loves.

"Strawberry milk or coffee?"

Yoongi asked as he was standing by the refrigerator.

"Right. Why do I even ask? Strawberry milk is for you. And. Coffee for me."

Taehyung's pout earlier turned to a huge grin as he saw Yoongi bringing him a glass of his favourite strawberry milk.

"Now, eat up and be careful while driving. Text me whenever you can."

Tae nodded in excitement as he remembered his Hyung gifted him a car not too long ago and he can now be more independent.

"Surething, so what will you be doing?"

Yoongi was eating alongside with Tae when the younger asked about his plan for the day. He put down his fork, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and took a sip of his morning coffee.

"I will have to arrange some things around. Since we are new in town, I need to take care of some things and maybe try to meet my old friends who moved here."

Taehyung nodded understanding that his brother needs to take care of all their adult stuff since he is practically the sole breadwinner of the family for now.

Well not until Tae graduate and start working so he can be an adult and support himself and his brother too.

"Okay. I will be back as soon as I am done with classes."

Yoongi nodded as they continued to clean off the food from the plates with small chatters. Mainly about Tae and his new school.

After bidding his brother goodbye, Tae is now ready to embark on his new journey as he sat in his car feeling all giddy about the upcoming.

"You can do it TAEHYUNG." Tae lightly patted his chest and encouraged himself before he starts the engine and followed the navigation on his phone en route to Shadow College.

Meanwhile at Shadow Pack's Main House

Jungkook's POV
"Yaaa! I AM AWAKE DAD"

I yelled back when I faintly heard my dad waking me up from the living room.

He always does this. He never walks into my room and wakes me up, he always just yells and won't stop until I respond. Which sometimes can go on for half an hour.

I love my dad to death, he is such a cool father but not when he yells and wakes up all the other occupants of the house in the midst of doing it. Which will result in me getting smacked by Hosoek or Namjoon coz clearly they are bothered about this.

Today morning is one of those classic mornings where I took a long time to reply and I heard a loud opening of my door.

"Jeon Jungkook!! I swear I will pull you off the bed and land you on your ass if you don't respond to your dad and wake up now!"

It's Hoseokie.

I responded to my father before I turned and looked at him.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHA! You look...hahahahah like a shark!"

He threw his slippers at me before walking back out. I mean he did look like a shark with his bed hair.

Great, I got blessed by the almighty Hoseok's slipper early in the morning. It should be a great day! I gently rubbed my head and jumped out of the bed before another slipper land on my head.

After a quick shower and dressing up, I went down to have breakfast with everybody. It's a rule set by dad that we have to have at least one meal together in a day with everyone present.

Breakfast is the easiest meal we can have everyone in the house gathered around, so here we are.

"Morning dad. Hello Joon Hyung, Hoseok, hey guys." I sat beside dad as I greeted everyone.

"Took you long enough. Morning Jungkook." Namjoon greeted me back as I can see he is already digging into his breakfast.

"Yea, I sacrificed one of my fluffy bedroom slippers to wake him up this morning." Hoseok complained to no one in particular but I know dad and Joonie heard him and they laughed about it.

I rolled my eyes playfully and continued to eat my breakfast coz I don't wanna be late.

"So, Jungkook. I assumed Namjoon informed about the newcomer to Shadow College today? You know what to do?"

Dad walked me to my car and reconfirmed about my duty for the day.

I nodded saying I got the info about the newcomer but unsure of the name and the exact reason why he was admitted to our college.

"That my son, leave it to me. I will explain when the time comes. Just know the kid is very important to us and me, so do take care. Anything you need help with, Joon and Hoseok will be assisting you."

What's the big deal about this new kid? I still don't get it why dad, Joonie Hyung, and Hoseok is so concerned and particularly need me to look after him. But I guess I just have to obey.

"Ok, dad. Will do."

I gave him a hug and drove off to school prepared to meet whoever this new kid is and just get on with my assigned job.
