"Yoongi."

It was a fresh few days after the night of Taehyung and Jungkook's heated encounter at the raven head's house. The night where Yoongi's heart scratched in sorrow when his younger brother lied to him about meeting the young head alpha.

The older knew that Taehyung purposely hid the truth on meeting Jungkook and Yoongi had no idea what probed Taehyung on the secrecy.

Hence, here he stood in front of the raven head cornering him on the campus when Jungkook stroll into this morning anxiously looking for his human mate.

Jungkook on the other hand tried multiple times to call and text Taehyung but the brown head refused any form of contacts to reply the desperate male. Earlier this morning, the raven head woke up with a determination in his heart to confront Taehyung about the fiery feelings in his heart.

Things took an unexpected turn when Jungkook came in contact face to face with not Taehyung but his older brother - Yoongi. Not someone he was expecting and to say that the young alpha was feeling the intimidation at the slightest will be an understatement.

Jeon Jungkook is shitting his pants.

Did he find out what happened? Why is he staring at me? Is he swallowing me whole with his dark gaze? He found out, didn't he?

Jungkook's brain was running a marathon on the possible causes that might have contributed to Yoongi's tormenting gaze on him. The older male's brows were raised in a sinister manner waiting for the raven head to say something.

In return, Jungkook stood petrified.

"Jeon. Do you have something to confess to me?"

"Um, not to you though but to Tae-..."

"How dare you kiss my brother?"

Jungkook's eye widened. Is Yoongi a sorcerer or a mind reader? How did he found out so easily?

"I-I didn't mean-..."

"Cut your crap Jungkook, you kissed Taehyung isn't it?"

Jungkook gulped, grip tightening on his backpack strand with his eyes swimming away from Yoongi's darkening gaze.

"Answer. Me."

For an alpha, Yoongi is considered quite a strong one. Jungkook has personally not come across anyone as intimidating as Yoongi with a mere alpha rank. The older made a true alpha stutter and it's not a good sign for Jungkook's pride.

"Y-Yes, I d-did."

"Ok."

Jungkook raised his head and looked down at the male in front of him with pure confusion.

Is he nuts?

"I said ok Jungkook. I'm not mad at you for doing what you did. I didn't mean to approve it either but I know what's been fated won't run away from the game of destiny."

"Then why are you being so disapproving? I don't understand."

Jungkook can only fathom the kind of strong love and affection Yoongi has for his brother. What the raven head can't understand are the reasons behind Yoongi's bitter attitude against him.

"Let's just say I have trust issues and I think living your whole life protecting your only family does raise some insecurity issues."

Yoongi brushed the raven head off and turned on his heels. Before he could take a step, he turned back again and locked his eyes on the raven orbs in front of him.

"But. You dare to hurt my baby brother then you're a dead wolf to me Jungkook. Head alpha or not, you're nothing to me if my Taehyung gets broken. Understand?"

The raven head alpha couldn't react under the cold stares of the older. He just nodded slowly without blinking trying to hold himself in one piece.

"Good." Yoongi turned around and walked away leaving Jungkook's mind boggled on its mess.

"Geez, why does Tae need to have a scary brother like him? Ugh." Jungkook face palmed himself and concentrated to locate his mate. He wanted to see Taehyung.

"Hey Tae! Morning!"

On the other side of the campus, Taehyung was again found sitting by himself on a bench under an oak tree. This slowly became one of Tae's thinking spot and secret hideout which was unknowingly discovered by Jay, his new transfer friend.

"Oh hi Jay, wasn't expecting you here."

"Sorry, is this your spot? I kind of noticed you from afar and wanted to come by and say hi."

Jay grinned sheepishly when he realized that he perhaps have invaded Taehyung's personal space.

"That's alright Jay, I was just sketching something. You wanna have a sit?" Taehyung patted the empty spot beside him and welcomed Jay with a smile.

"Sure! So, how was your weekend?"

Both the males engaged in a friendly chat with Jay tickling Tae's sense of laughter by constantly throwing in multiple jokes which caused the brown head to roll around laughing with his boxy lips on display. He looked happy.

At the corner of the field, the sound a breaking heart would have been very evident if you have a superhuman hearing coz that's how loudly Jungkook's heart shattered when his eyes caught the sight of his mate laughing with another male.

Jungkook knew that Tae is not the one to be blamed as he is not aware of their mate bond. But, didn't they both shared kisses? Didn't Tae blush and fluster under his touch? Didn't Tae yearn for him when he was away?

What happened to the bubbling feelings in which Jungkook was positive that Taehyung was feeling?

The raven head must have stood there with envy in his eyes and hurt in his heart for him to miss the fast-approaching males side by side towards him.

"Oh, Jungkook?"

Taehyung's laughter died down but he was not looking as salty and angry as he did from the last time he departed from the raven head's presence.

"You know him?" Jay asked, narrowing his eyes on Jungkook coz he was not getting a good vibe from the raven head.

Jungkook didn't respond to Tae, instead, his eyes lingered to the male beside his mate.

Tsk, asshole.

His wolf was crawling uneasily inside Jungkook, making him winch with jealousy and hatred to this male who was standing so close to his mate. It is in werewolves' nature to be protective and possessive towards their loves.

"Jungkook? Are you ok?" Tae repeated.

"Yea. Um, can we have a word Tae?"

Taehyung sighed. He is not mad at the raven head anymore and the incidents were long forgotten. He just didn't want to speak alone with Jungkook, afraid that it will become awkward between the both of them again.

"Can we do this later? Jay and I have a class to run to."

"Yea, we are already late by 5 minutes." Jay interrupted.

Late my ass. Tae's class doesn't start till another 20 minutes. Liar.

Jungkook's mind voice was strong and aggressive. He knows Taehyung's schedule at the back of his hand now, it's his mate after all.

"Ok, I will text you. Can you please reply to me?"

"Fine." Taehyung rolled his eyes which was caught by Jungkook and he wasn't happy about it.

On his way of leaving, Jay knowingly bumped into Jungkook's shoulder blade, turning around to throw him a raised brow and smirk on his lips before following behind Taehyung like a puppy.

"I hate him."

Jungkook growled and went a separate direction, decided to skip his class for the rest of the day.
