"You got me a gift?" Jungkook was mystified.

"It's your birthday Jungkook, I can't come empty-handed."

"Taehyung, you know that I will never have any expectations for you. Choosing to spend the birthday with me is the biggest gift you can give me."

Taehyung's heart fluttered. Being appreciated in such a delicate manner made him feel extremely important. The brown head has always been pampered and babied by his older brother, other than that, everything else is a new experience for the human boy.

"I know, but when I saw this, I know I had to get them for you. They reminded me of you."

Taehyung slowly took out the medium-sized box. The brown head held the navy velvet box in his hand, nervous about his selection of gift.

"Are you not going to give them to me?" Jungkook teased him.

"I thought you said you don't want to have any gifts?" Taehyung smiled in mockery.

"Tae..."

"Alright, close your eyes then."

"Really? I can see the box right there." Jungkook pointed at the navy box in Tae's hand.

"Close your eyes or I am not going to give this gift to you." Taehyung chewed on his lower lips, a dark gaze lingering on his face.

"Tsk, you're such a tease." Jungkook rolled his eyes and eventually closed them shut, waiting for the next command.

Taehyung watched in amusement as Jungkook closed his eyes, grinning from ear to ear showing off his bunny smile. Compared to the first few weeks of knowing the younger, Taehyung can relate to him a lot more now.

Jimin was right, the more you get to know Jungkook, the more you will learn to love and care for the raven head. Taehyung was of no exception, he definitely can agree to the statement and even testify for it.

He waited for a second to ensure that Jungkook was no peeking to hand over his gift. Slowly, without thinking about anything else, totally giving into the whole atmosphere they are in now, Taehyung slowly leaned in.

The brown head trailed his eyes all over the younger's face, taking in every single inch of the beauty in front of him with his final gaze dropping on the tiny little scar on Jungkook's left cheeks. For some reason, that mark over the spot invited Taehyung in.

He leaned in to kiss the little scar. "Happy birthday Jungkook."

Shivers ran down Jungkook's spine setting his nerves on the state of euphoric. Did Taehyung just kiss him?

When he jolted his eyes open, his hand was being held closely by the brown head with a heavyweight balancing in the palm of his hands.

"Open it."

Jungkook was baffled, he didn't know how to react. Should he react at the kiss planted on his cheek or the fact that Taehyung is demanding on showing off his gift? His mate freaking kissed him and you have no idea the kind of firework exploding inside his heart.

"O-okay."

Tae was so excited to see Jungkook's reaction on his gift that he didn't notice the obvious blush on the younger's face and the slight tremble on his hand.

Opening the box has to be the most nerve-wracking thing that Jungkook has ever done. He didn't want to disappoint Taehyung with his reaction but he knows for sure that he will love whatever that his mate gifts him.

"Crystals?"

Jungkook's eyes sparkled. How can Taehyung with no knowledge of the wolf world get a present so precise to Jungkook's true nature?

Crystal is an object of an element that ties the power of the full moon with their deity. Crystal is one of the most powerful elements which can enhance any true alpha's ability, making them superior compared to the other wolves.

"I got you a purple crystal. When I walked past this beauty in the shop, I knew I need to get them for you. Do you like it?"

Jungkook's eyes teared at the sparkling object in his hand. He can already feel the ooze of energy busting through his veins with the presence of his mate and the energy from the element.

"I love it!"

The true alpha leapt forward, engulfing Taehyung into his arms. "I love it so so much Tae, you're the best!"

"Wow there, I'm so happy you love it. Yay!" Taehyung cheered. He expected the raven head to let him go but Jungkook continued to hold him tight in his embrace.

"Kooks?"

Taehyung's brow knitted together when he felt Jungkook's hold on him didn't loosen. "Kooks? I know you're happy but can you release me?" He chuckled again.

"Shh, I really wanna hug you a little longer Tae."

Jungkook's pheromones were oozing out. If only there were werewolves present in their vicinity, they would have smelled the arousing scent from the true alpha. Jungkook was basking in Tae's mate scent and releasing his own.

"You smell so good Tae." He nuzzled his nose into the crook of Tae's neck, making the brown head tight in his joint, finding an odd sense of arousal within him.

He is not supposed to feel like this isn't it? Why is he getting comfortable and somewhat enjoying Jungkook's touch on him?

"Jungkook?"

The raven head did not budge, he didn't care. With the kiss that Taehyung planted sneakily on his cheek, Jungkook could have slammed into the brown head and claimed him at that very instance. He just chooses not to.

Instead, he started to plant wet kisses along the slope of Taehyung's neck, sliding the collar of his shirt down.

"J-Jungkook? You-...ah..." Taehyung shivered with the slight pain. He shut his eyes in pleasure right after the younger's tongue slide over the area which stung, as Jungkook continued his trail elsewhere.

"You're so beautiful Tae."

Jungkook continued his little sucking activity from the crook of his neck to the collar of Tae's tan skin. His tongue technology was like no other, it was like a spell and Tae was hooked. He arched his hips accidentally brushing his lower groin with Jungkook's.

"Omg, Jungkook."

Taehyung found the little sanity left on his confused brain to push the younger off his neck as they both gasped for air. Taehyung was flustered and his eyes widened at the dishevelled state of the raven head, lips rose from the sucking.

"I'm sorry."

Jungkook used the back of his hand to wipe his mouth, gulping with a slight terror unsure of Tae's reaction.

Taehyung on the other hand didn't know what to say. Yes, Jungkook sucked on him but he did plant a kiss on Jungkook's cheek as well. Yes, it was Jungkook who crossed the line but he didn't push the younger sooner either.

What is happening? Why is he suddenly so fucking submissive to his friend?

"It's fine. Don't worry about it."

"Are you sure you're ok with it?" Jungkook raised his eyes, falling them on the left side of Tae's neck where his artwork stood proudly under the silver beaming moonlight.

"Yea, I get it, you're just 21 and horny."

"Hey!" Jungkook threw playful fits at Taehyung while the older held his stomach from laughing abruptly like a maniac. He didn't know what else he should say to lighten the mood, so he just blurted out whatever came out of his mouth.

"Thanks Tae, you're a very good friend to me."

"You too Kooks, thanks for being a good friend. Wanna head back now? I don't want Yoongles to start a search party on me."

Jungkook immediately starts moving, yelling Taehyung to keep up his speed as he was legit terrified on what Yoongi might say if he can't find his brother in his radar longer than expected.

While running back to the Jeon mansion, Taehyung laughed all the way teasing Jungkook for being a scaredy-cat with a mere mention on Yoongi. The kiss and the hickeys were long abandoned by Taehyung, but not by Jungkook.

The true alpha's wolf was swimming in cloud nine with the simple interaction they get to have with their human mate. The danger of wanting more interaction keeps resurfacing on Jungkook's mind where he tried to pacify his inner self, asking some more time before they can reunite with their mate.

Just like that, both the mates are back in Jeon's kitchen, only to notice that the entire entourage was growing frantic in the living room, trying to locate the two boys who eloped.

Oh, now I am screwed. Jungkook's conscious thought betrayed him.
