But here's a little mini theory!

Dune is Qibli's father. In The Brightest Night, when Sunny asks if Dune is her father, Thorn glances at Qibli. Why would she do that if she didn't know something about their relationship? I can hear you thinking, "Oh, my god. You're an idiot. Dune was under a mountain for six years, and Qibli is younger than the Dragonets." Well to that I say, HA! NOPE! Qibli is roughly one year younger than them, and y'know the dragon egg incubation period? Roughly one year!
