WaveDrift - 20
Well, I'm bored and I want this book to end soon, so ima just... skips until they crash land onto Pyrrhia... this book feels too long to me anyways... continuing with the story!
WaveDrift heard something whizz by his ear, just narrowly missing his neck. But hitting someone else's. Truth'Seeker glanced at her neck with the dart in it, and quickly looked at him with an expression of why me? Before her eyes rolled back behind her head, causing them both to plummet towards the unknown land.
He saw something, like a movement in the air, grab Truth' and pull her towards the destination, but he didn't truly process that until later.
He saw Igneous diving after him, a look of pure determination in her eyes, but before she could get there felt something grab him with long sloth-like talons. A lot of them, actually. He estimated about 15 different talons had grabbed him, but nothing was there even when his falling slowed into a gentle fall which floated past huge treetops and tropical animals.
They gently touched the ground as Igneous and the two DragonLing's landed next to him.
"What was-"
He began to ask before feeling something touch his wing gently and he froze.
"Relax dragon, it's just one of my healers."
A beautiful dragon now stood in front of him that looked like a bunch of brown colors chucked onto a dragon, which somehow looked good. She was also wearing a flower crown along with about two dozen small sloths dangling comfortably on her neck and entire body.
The rainbow brown thing coughed to steady his attention on her.
"I suppose that this would be a good time for introduction, though I usually don't do these things. Too much effort, but weird looking thing catch my attention."
"Um.... Where are we...?"
Clicker asked hesitantly.
"Oh! Your in the Rainforest, and I'm-Queen, mind your manners- Queen Exquisite. Sad that it's not my month yet though, so that's technically not my true name, but alas, anything for the sloths. Isn't that right, my loves?"
She cooed, beginning to scratch all 15 of them behind their ears.
"Where...?"
"Oh! The Kingdom is that way."
She said, waving an arm vaguely North-Westward, not even glancing up.
"Banana, Daisy, Beautiful and Harmony? Be dears and lead them to The Village. Also show them to Grandeur, I bet she'd be SO interested indeed."
A loud pop came from Wave's wing and he screeched, but his wing steadily began to move with ease. The Rainforest dragon gave him a thumbs up and pointed towards the sky.
Queen Exquisite rolled her eyes and shooed us towards the RainWings. We then began to fly away, hearing Exquisite's voice fading out in the distance.
"Also, treat all of the sloths with respect! You hear me?! DON'T. EAT. ANY. SLOTHS. Come on Lazy, Barry, Berry, Exquisite 2, Slug, Boar, Hungry...."
!Authors note!
These characters might have a tad bit different personalities than in the books. It's somewhere in between on how I imagine them and how they really are, like Exquisite's. I felt like it matched her well, sorry if you disliked it.
BTW the timeline is literally right before Glory gets to the rainforest, so Ruby will be becoming the new Queen in a bit, because of Scarlet flowing with her burnt eye and such. The war will end soon.

Your author is slowly losing sanity by the second. Once school is over she'll have no brain cells left.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Back to the story.
! !
They had reached the village at dusk, and only then did they all see the true beauty of the rainforest. (and, of course, the RainWings themselves) There was a large clearing with about 2 hundred hammocks and such around it, all lying perfectly where the sun would hit. The trees here were incredibly big— around 3 times the size of Pyroien trees — with huts showing themselves at every angle, except towards the sky.
It was absolutely breathtaking.
But, of course, not as breathtaking as the creatures who inhabited them.
The RainWings were the prettiest colors he had ever seen— and almost all of them were rare colors too! Bright pink, brown, turquoise, bright green, yellow, dark purple, orange, and about a thousand other colors lay which and where on the dragons. He could visibly see the dragons scales changing and shifting, matching the atmosphere.
They were gorgeous, period.
He looked at his companions to see their expressions, and if he had a piece of paper he would have immediately drawn them to remember their priceless faces forever.
All of their jaws were agape. Wide open for a dentist to look at. They stayed that way for at least another minute before the shock began to wear away. Truth (who apparently had already awoken, Spirit knows how she woke so fast) began to blink rapidly and looked around, quickly closing her mouth when she saw WaveDrift snickering at her.
"It's... beautiful."
Igneous whispered in awe, reaching out her arm as if wanting to touch it.
TruthSeeker muttered some words (probably cursing) and spiraled down to the large platform, spreading out her wings in a glide before touching the ground. Igneous glanced at Wave and quickly followed her lead, diving down as well with Wave'(currently being carried by Healers), Clicker, Hive, and the rest of the RainWings following.
As the whizzed and curved through branches and Jaguars he soon began to see them more often, almost at every glance. He could see the different color combinations at every glance of them, their rainbow eyes looking back in wonder. It was pretty, but also quite an odd sight.
They soon reached the 'Palace'. His heart sank. He had expected from the first impressions that there would be a huge magnificent palace with floor upon floors and gold bars with daisies everywhere. It wasn't terrible, but definitely crushed his spirit as it came into view.
It was small, but not terribly small. He could clearly see the palace and that was the problem. The whole thing was visible to the eye. So it might be big in somes eyes, but when you have a palace that's so big you haven't even seen half of the rooms though you live in it, you would see his point of view very clearly.
There was approximately 25-ish rooms with each connected with wooden bridges, all of it being suspended by, quite possibly, the biggest trees he had seen and ever will see in his life.
The Rainforest Dragons began to lead the, towards a large balcony, a massive line behind it. All of the dragons were waiting for something, it seemed, in a large hut made and wrapped with leaves and vines, looking nothing like Wave's crystallized haven. It was beginning to get to him the temperature of this place, as it was dreadfully humid and sticky with heat pouring down on him, sweat running off his cheek.
It was the polar opposite of The Palace, where frisk air with little oxygen sprayed your face every two steps, reminding you of the environment and, especially, waking you up in the morning. It blew your mane and stirred your eyes to look out and see the beautiful view of Pyro. Every morning awakened by the sense of freedom and beauty that made you want to just dive deeper into it. The snow just barely tickled you toes and brushed along your tail.
Summit, of course, was the prettiest place of all. In the middle of their town lay, on the highest peak, The Palace, Summit. It outshined and out looked any other building or Ice sculpture in the place. The entire thing took years to get to all of the rooms and remember where things are located, but it was easier when you grew up there. In The Palace there were no windows, just some gaps every once and a while to fly into, meaning that the place was swarming. Some sunlight came through the glass-like walls of The Palace, with shelves around many corners. The floor being made of porcelain and the ceiling hanging down luminous blue stones, giving the place a dreamy vibe during the night.
This?
This place was nothing.
... well, except for the dragons living there.
They apparently had a free pass to the front of the line and just shimmied their way into the front, opening the curtains to reveal a... dragon with some sloths. She had a flower crown and was purplish with yellow mixed in. The other Rainforest Dragons were yawning loudly and just looking bored all together throughout this entire chat.
One in the front stepped up, which I had remembered of her name being Harmony.
"Magnificent, ya know where Grandeur is? The funky dragons were gonna see her or something, I forgot."
Magnificent (who was probably the Queen, mind their manners) nodded, seeming to be quite bored at the idea of entirely new species of dragons showing up at her doorstep.
"Oh, yeah, she's overseeing Bromeliads training courses."
The Rainforest Dragon nodded and led us somewhere else while the others retired onto nice hammocks, stretching out into the sunlight.
It was a nice flight. We watched the birds fly past us in various colors, Jaguars prancing in the trees and snakes, tigers and sloths coming up in glances.
Not to mention the thousands of frogs and butterflies. Also other bugs that kept crawling on our backs whenever we landed.
So, in other words, it was nice until you ran into some vines/branches or touched the ground.
Once we had landed, we saw no sight of Grandeur. She was probably sleeping.
Though there was a bright red dragon screaming at a bunch of dragons, which usually steals your attention and train of thought.
"KINKAJOU!! YOU ANNOYING SON-OF-A-TOAD, STOP PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK AND GET BACK HERE."
The dragon screamed, who was probably Bromeliad. The other dragons were either sleeping or sending nervous glances at each other.
Kinkajou was nowhere to be seen.
Another more claim dragon, mind you, landed next to and began speaking in a calm manner.
"Bromeliad, what is wrong this time? Kinkajou again?"
Bromeliad hissed and gave her a grumpy glare.
"Grandeur, the idiot decided to play hide and seek again! If I don't see her today I'll-I'll- l'll do something bad!"
Grandeur frowned.
"How long has she been missing? Also aren't you supposed to be fired?"
Bromeliad growled deeply.
"I'm fired BECAUSE of that idiot dragonet! She's been missing for weeks, that brat!"
Grandeur sighed and glanced at the dragonets.
"Alright, you all are excused."
They all either smiled at her gratefully or just continued sleeping, those which Bromeliad yelled in their ears so they would groan and walk away, dragging their feet.
"Grandeur!"
Harmony called, flying over to her while we followed.
"Oh, hey Harmony. Who are... they?"
She said, looking at WaveDrift, Igneous and TruthSeeker.
"Said they were from somewhere else.... so Exquisite decided to dump them on you to figure out."
"... they speak Dragon, right?"
She rumbled.
...
...
"YEAH."
TruthSeeker said loudly, grinning, which caused Grandeur to jump up in fright.
Grandeur quickly regained her posture and tried staring Truth' down. It didn't do much, though, only causing Truth' to snicker a bit.
"You, miss, have poor behavior towards elderly Queens..... oh my.... may I ask.... what.. are you?"
She said with sudden understanding of the situation.
"Your not from Pyrrhia, are you? T-There was never—are never— any other known continents... how do you speak dragon? What type of dragon are you?"
Her aged face gave a small frown, as if wondering how this was truly possible, like another problem In the world to solve.
WaveDrift wasn't planning on telling her where that lived, but Grandeur's stare-off was impossible to lie to(except for Truth', of course), so he blurted it out.
"PYRO! Pyro. We're from Pyro. Um..."
She stared them all down again.
"What are your names."
They all stayed silent, even Truth'.
"I said, What. Are. Your. NAMES."
She said with complete fake calming sense to her, like a secret murderer vibe.
Her gazed was pressed hard down on Igneous.
She couldn't hold it either.
"I'm Igneous, that's Wave' and Truth'.. please don't hurt us.."
She whispered, causing TruthSeeker to stomp on her tail.
Grandeur chuckled, reminding WaveDrift of his uncle, KelpSong. He had loved to sing musical tunes that easily put him and his siblings to sleep in minutes. His mother called him her savior.
"Dragonets these days..."
He sensed the mood becoming damp and quickly cracked a joke to allay it.
"Why did Death create walls around his Underworld?"
They all stared at him like his face had been perfumed and set on fire, then perhaps painted hot pink.
"Because..."
He snickered.
"Because people were... you ready?... DYING to get in!"
Igneous snickered a little while TruthSeeker just sighed and pretended not to know him. Grandeur blinked at him like she couldn't believe he'd said something so stupid.
After a moment of absolute silence (two in one day! That's an achievement for Truth') Grandeur began to fly towards.... somewhere, motioning for us to follow.
She soon landed with them next to two small huts.
"You guys will be staying here for the next... however many nights. Leave before I turn queen and have to kick you out. Oh, but if it gets too crowded, you can kick that one out," she muttered afterwords, looking at WaveDrift, "I'm sure he won't mind."
She then disappeared (evaporated?) into thin air, leaving them questioning what to do next.
Truth' eventually sighed.
"Well, we'll make our next move in the morning... after eating."
They all happily agreed and decided who was to sleep where— TruthSeeker and WaveDrift in one, and Igneous, Clicker and Hive in the other.
Clicker and Hive had decided together that they would prefer to stay hidden from the Pyrrhian dragons.
Igneous, Wave' and Truth' were supposed to look for help to save Pyro, and all that. Hopefully-probably- from another tribe... RainWings, from first impressions, didn't seem to be the hero type of dragons.
He quickly entered the hut, which was nothing fancy, just two hammocks and a rug in the middle, a window also in between the hammocks. Clearly they didn't have royal guests or visitors.
The whole hut was also made from tightly woven leaves. As usual.
He plopped on the hammock that looked comfier and fell asleep instantly.
