TruthSeeker - 22

Once Igneous came back, Truth quickly led her friends to..... somewhere.
They were leaving, though didn't know what they were getting themselves into.
As they heaved on (the trees this route were much too dense to fly through) TruthSeeker found her thoughts wandering...

That look Igneous keeps giving me - I almost recognize it from somewhere. It's like she's angry at me..... no, not me. At WaveDrift. But what did he do?
Maybe it's because Igneous likes Wave', like she had confessed earlier, with the Dragonlings. She must be angry because I like him too!
I'm sorry, Igneous, I didn't know....

She made a mental note to herself to apologize to Igneous later.

Oh Spirits! I hate apologizing, with all that mushy mumbo jumbo. I hope I can finish it quickly....
This is dangerous of me. I mean, we know nothing about these dragons, and I'm leading my friends straight to them! No - stop thinking like that, Truth'. If they dare touch them, I'll rip them in half and hang their skins on a wall.... Yeah, that's what I'll do.
If we do get in trouble, I hope they take WaveDrift instead. That idiot.

She didn't mean that, of course, but it helped her stress decrease.

Her thoughts began to blur and time seemed to speed up.
Before she knew it, they had flown all the way to... a dark, creepy looking tunnel.

She snickered.
"Well, WaveDrift can go first."

He looked offended but regained his posture to some sort of gentleman.
"No, no, don't be ridiculous! Please, ladies first."
He held out a hand for her to take - not like she would!

Eventually, Igneous huffed and shoved between them, taking his hand for suspense or something and stepping into the tunnel.

"Hey, idiots, are you coming or not?"

They both glanced at each other and entered the tunnel together, entering an unsettling silence for minutes before... a light appeared before them.

"Woah..."
Igneous managed to whisper.
TruthSeeker didn't even tease her about it, as it was truly amazing.

"We're... in the desert? No, we're in the desert... we're in the desert, Igneous, no need to be so surprised. It's just a magic tunnel, is all..."
Wave' scoffed at this but didn't say a word.

They all sat there, taking the emptiness in for a moment before seeing something flying ahead.
A desert dragon.

TruthSeeker quickly shot into the air and grabbed him, pulling him down out of the sky with her weight and clamping his jaw shut.
He desperately thrashed from her grip and nearly got out by biting her until WaveDrift's assistance came and he held the dragons tail still.
A huge stinger was attached to it that she hadn't noticed before.

Not a stinger... a scorpion tail thing, I've only seen those in stories!

They eventually landed and freed the dragon.
He looked at all of us, up and down, furrowing his eyes.
He looked like... a sand dragon, she guessed, but with a scorpion tail and obviously a bit short - or perhaps they were all tall? - though not shorter than Truth', that was too rare.
His obvious markings were the speckles on his snout along with a scar on his snout that got rid of some of his flappy thing along his spine.

"Uhh... who are you? Sorry - it's obvious who you are.. um. I'm Qibli, welcome to Pyrrhia."

TruthSeeker tilted her head.
"How is it obvious who we are, again?"

He snickered.
"Well, you clearly aren't from Pyrrhia, so you must be from a different area and you landed by the Sand Kingdom, so you would be from the South to Western area, and you knew that you would arrive somewhere, so you knew that we existed, somehow. You also speak the same language as us, so we were clearly together at some point in time.
You both also look from different tribes and stuff, so you have been inclosed from each other long enough to develop your own origins, meaning that you probably live in a big continent.
Also you probably would have tried to kill you all off at some point in history and one tribe all would have perished, meaning that you do have a big continent to develop and hide from each other.
So my best guess is that you live on another continent with two or more types of dragons in the South to Western side of Pyrrhia... are you from Pantala?"

TruthSeeker laughed hysterically while the others stood there silently.
"We're not from Pantala, silly! That would be insane, I thought you knew them! No, we're from Pyro, the third continent."

Qibli's expression faltered.
"Wh-what? Third continent... that's impossible, we would have known that there was a whole nother' freaking Camel-spitting CONTINENT next to us!"

She laughed again.
"Must have gotten us confused with Pantalian hints, sorry!"

He cleared his throat.
"Then... why are you here?"

I didn't feel like writing the entire story, soooo..

Truth' told him their entire story from the beginning on why they were here.
By the time she finished, it had gotten dark.

Qibli had listened through it all, nodding at times or adding in side comments until she finished.

"So.. you need my help?"
They all nodded.
"Well lucky for you I could be perhaps the best dragon for the job! It's clear that you are an Animus, TruthSeeker, so all we need to do is do this one spell that I had thought of. Though I don't think Thorn would like me to be gone long..."

"HURRY UP!"
Truth' snapped quickly, emphasizing her impatience.

"All you need to do, TruthSeeker, is a simple spell that allows both sides to her each other's thoughts, but need to do it when all of both tribes are there so that everyone would know and accept each other, know are both just scared of each other.... I had saved this idea in case of emergencies."

Note that this was before the whole DarkStalker thing, so I was making up that he had gotten the idea from TruthSeeker beforehand.

They all sat there in silence until Igneous piped up.

"So... your telling me that we all just did this adventure... to know that we could have done it by ourselves in the beginning?"
Qibli paused, but eventually nodded as TruthSeeker sighed.

"Well, we'd better get back soon... I guess we can just go back into the tunnel and sleep there for the night, it seems safer than here."

He looked around until he saw the huge pit at his right, his eyes raising in shock.
"What. Is. That?"

Truth' ignored him and looked at Igneous and WaveDrift.

"You in?"
They nodded, as she had expected.

"Good. We'll leave at dawn."
