Appearance: TearWing scales range in blues and teals. They have silver dots along their body and outside of wings. Their wings are rimmed with a dark blue. TearWings have multiple long, silver antennas close to the head that become smaller on the spine. There is also silver feathers around the neck. Their ruff is also silver. They have a powerful tail and wings built for swimming.

Abilities: TearWings have the ability of echolocation, which is useful for living underwater. They also can see in the dark. TearWings born under the right conditions can control oversea storms, like hurricanes and tsunamis, but this power is very rare. These TearWings are called Storm-Handlers.

Animus: animus TearWings are rare and can be spotted by having glowing antennas and spikes, and are unusually small. The first TearWing animus was shades of dark blue with the name Depth.

Diet: TearWings are omnivores, and eat their share of fish and seaweed.

Habitat: TearWings live under the sea in large caves.

Society: TearWings are a peaceful tribe that stays neutral in wars. Their current ruler is Queen Pacific, a light blue and teal tearwing. Their current Storm-Handler is a bright blue and navy TearWing by the name Shipwreck.

Other: The TearWing tribe is named after their "tear-colored" scales. Individual names are either ocean- or bird-like.
