Appearance: They are generally shades of dark grey on their bodies, and their eyes, horns, and back ridges are the color of a precious gem. They have two short horns curving inward at the top of their head, and small blunt spine ridges going down their back. Their wings are shimmery and tinted like their gem color of the rest of their accents. They have sharp claws and almost shovel like tough feet.

Abilities: GemWings can see in the dark and have extremely good hearing. All GemWings can sense a stone or gems aura, but a select few called Stone Callers can manipulate it to their will easily.

Animus: GemWings are one of the true animus tribes, though the ability does not show very often. However, it isn't monitored closely.

Diet: GeemWings have a unique adaptation that allows them to eat rocks and crystals, but they still eat meat on occasion when they can get it.

Habitat: GemWings live in giant underground cave systems so as to be closer to stone as jewels, and seldom come out as they are sensitive to the light.

Society: GemWings are a fierce underground fighting tribe and make good spies. They are currently at peace, though some are hired out to kingdoms at the individuals decision. The current queen is Queen Jasper, who has to daughters, princesses Amethyst and Stalagmite. The two current Stone Callers are Opal and Diamond.

Other: GemWings are named for their coloring and their unique abilities with gems. Individuals are named after gems and crystals, things found in caves, or stone formations.
