Appearance: DeerWings have short, soft fur in shades of brown and tan. they have glowing eyes of any color. Although they have no spikes, they have white or ivory colored antlers and feathered wings. They walk on the talons at the tips of their wings and feet, for they only have two feet.

Abilities: they have the power to control nature, to bend it to their will, and speak to animals. They also breath a mist that puts dragons to sleep once inhaled.

Animus: animus DeerWings are popular throughout the tribe. Though they are not rare, only every third generation receives this gift - though there is multiple different generations in each family, so there is often multiple at one time. Animus DeerWings are found out when they have spots on their face, unlike the normal DeerWings without spots. The first DeerWing animus was dark brown named Dusk.

Diet: DeerWings are strictly herbivores, eating plants and fruit.

Habitat: they live in lush, thick forests.

Society: DeerWings are a fierce and powerful tribe, and although they eat plants, they have deadly sharp teeth. Their current ruler is queen sequoia.

Other: the DeerWing tribe is named after their resemblance to deer. Individual names come from powers, color, or is nature-themed.
