Chapter 5: Headquarters
As soon as everyone grabbed hold of an adult the older wizards turned on their heels and apparated to Number 12 Grimmauld Place. Almost everyone looked nauseous.
Nico was used to Shadow Traveling so he wasn't too bad off. Neither were Percy or Thalia. Both had Shadow Traveled with Mrs. O'Leary or Nico at some point in time and were more used to the feeling of being sucked into a straw and spit back out in a different location. That didn't help the taste of metal in their mouths though.
Sally, Dumbledore, Sirius, and Lupin looked fine. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Estelle, and Paul; however were a different matter. Paul and Estelle had almost fainted from nausea while Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked like they were about to fall off their feet, but managed to stay upright.
Once everyone had recovered Dumbledore handed a piece of paper to Percy (who was closest to him).
"Okay, who writes like this? This is hell on the eyes." Percy exclaimed after a minute of trying to read it. The words were written in a fancy and swirly script that looked like it was trying to swim off the page so Percy couldn't read it. Percy handed the paper to his mother and looked around.
The house between numbers 11 and 13 was shrouded in thick layers of Mist and were hard to concentrate on.
"I sense death," Nico said in Greek
"Where?" Thalia and Percy asked at the same time. They both huddled in closer for the whispered Greek conversation.
"There," Nico pointed to number 12.
"Here," Sally handed the note to the demigods with a rough Greek translation for the words.
The headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix may be found at number twelve, Grimmauld Place, London.
Percy handed the note to Nico who read it and handed it to Thalia. When both were done reading, Dumbledore took the note and looked at the Greek scribbles for a second before setting the paper on fire.
"Now that everyone can see the house, shall we go in?" Dumbledore asked not unkindly. People nodded and followed him towards the door. Upon arrival, people were waiting in the entrance hall of the house.
About ten people and almost half of them had a vague resemblance to Ron. They all had fiery red hair. Two of them had the mischievous grin the Stolls gave when they were planning something. The woman had a motherly smile on her face and a plump figure. The man had a balding head but his red hair was still prominent. He looked at the cousins with a look of curiosity. The youngest redhead looked to be about fourteen or fifteen. Her hair was an even brighter red than her family's. Her eyes shone with the same fire that her hair portrayed. Just from a look, Percy could tell she was stubborn and determined. She would fit in well with the woman of his family. Percy could tell Thalia was already devising a plan to get the girl to join the hunt.
Of the last of the people in the room, one had bubblegum pink hair, another had a peg leg, the third looked strict but kind, the fourth had greasy-looking hair and a permanent sneer, and the last in the room was an elf-type creature garbed in an old pillowcase.
"It is very nice to meet you. My name is Molly Weasley," Molly stuck out her hand. Sally took the offered hand.
"My name is Sally Blofis, this is my husband Paul Blofis, my son Percy Jackson, his cousins Nico Di Angelo and Thalia, and my daughter Estelle Blofis," Sally introduced.
"Very nice to meet you," Molly shook everyone's hand, "Come on everyone introduce yourselves," Molly encouraged.
"Gred," one of the twins said.
"Feorge," the other continued.
"Weasley," they both finished.
"Let me guess," Percy said. He was the one who hung out the most around the Stolls and was the best at telling them apart, "Fred," he guessed pointing to the one who introduced himself as Feorge.
"George," he pointed to the one who introduced himself as Gred.
"Dang it," they exclaimed at the same time before turning a curious gaze to Percy, "How'd you know?"
"Some of my friends are almost identical except for age and height. They try and play this trick on new campers. They'll switch their names except for the first letter," Percy explained with a shrug.
"They sound cool. Can we meet them?" Fred asked.
Percy gave a firm, no and the twins' faces fell.
"You four would start an apocalypse of pranks, and frankly I don't want to get caught in the middle of that," Thalia stated.
Arthur decided to speak up next, "Arthur Weasley. You guys grew up in the muggle world, right?"
The trio nodded.
"That's great can you tell me the purpose of a debit card?"
"Um..." Nico searched for the right words, "We use it to pay for stuff if we don't have cash on us."
"I would love to hear more about how your technology works later. Muggles are just so fascinating."
They looked at the others who were giving them the 'this isn't unusual' look.
"Ginny Weasley."
"Nice to meet you," Thalia smiled. Ginny gave a smile in return.
"Nymphadora Tonks. If you call me Nymphadora you might not like the result."
The demigods laughed but nodded.
"Alastor Moody," the Auror introduced himself.
"Do you mind if I ask what happened?" Percy asked pointing to Moody's leg.
"Got into a fight," Moody waved off.
"Fun, fun."
"Minerva McGonagall," McGonagall stiffly said.
"Like the Roman goddess?" Percy asked.
"I guess so," McGonagall mused.
Snape introduced himself next, "Severus Snape. I will be the potions professor at Hogwarts."
Sirius clapped the elf-like creature on the back, "This is my house elf, Kreacher."
"Good day, Kreacher. How are you?" Percy asked.
"How should I feel with filthy blood traitors and mud bloods tainting the noble house of Black?"
"Now Kreacher there is no need to talk like that. That is rude. Be nice," Sally reprimanded the house elf.
"Who am I to take orders from you?" Kreacher defiantly asked.
"I'm sure my son would back me up. I'm sure you recognize him?" Sally stated in her stubborn tone.
"Perseus Jackson, son of King Plato Olympia," Kreacher said after studying him for a minute, "A bearer of many titles."
"I must feel inclined to agree with my mother, Kreacher. They do not deserve to be judged just for blood. Attempt to play kindly with them," Percy said in a low voice. He turned to the others in the room, "The same goes for you guys. Attempt to be nice to Kreacher. No one deserves to be mistreated. And with what I hear is going on here right now, you guys don't need anyone on your bad side. Trust me I have too many people who would love nothing more than to kill me."
People nodded.
"Now that everyone is introduced. Who's hungry?" Molly asked.
"I am," Percy said.
"You just ate Kelp Head. How are you hungry already?" Thalia asked in mock annoyance.
"Hey, being this awesome is hard," Percy pretended to throw his hair over his shoulder.
"Only you, Kelp Head, only you," Thalia and Nico laughed.
Ron had also launched at the idea of food and a similar conversation was going on within the golden trio.
"Ron, you ate not even an hour ago. How are you not full yet? Hermione asked.
"I'm a growing boy 'Mione. I need to eat," Ron replied.
Hermione rolled her eyes but let him go back to his food.
I wanna try this real quick guys
Next time on Wizarding Royalty:
"Get back here, Jackson."
"Did you have to shock me?"
"Sorry, Uncle."
