Jeonghan stood there staring back at the older man until he felt it was enough and tore his eyes away trying to focus on anything. Anything but him. But then, he felt slow footsteps coming towards him and panicked knowing it was Scoups. To calm his nerves, he grabbed a glass of wine from the tray of a passing waiter and gulped it all at once. He froze when he heard his soft clear voice.

"Hello!" He greeted and Jeonghan slowly faced him, dropping his glass on a nearby table.

"um...hi" he muttered in response. 

To be honest, Jeonghan had had a huge crush on Scoups ever since he debuted as a rapper. He liked everything about him, his looks, his singing, rapping, everything but one thing, his scandalous lifestyle. He was known to have dated and broken up with nearly all the female celebrities he had been going out with. His latest prey was the nation's sweetheart Yoona. This was what Jeonghan was spying on Scoups for in other to expose him. Even though he hated the idea of spying on his crush, He had to find out if indeed Yoona was his latest victim but he had found nothing, absolutely nothing. Now, he was jobless and broke.

Jeonghan tried his best to look calm but he knew he was shaking and that Scoups would notice that too. Scoups smiled ruggedly as he cocked his head to one side, his beautiful black eyes in thinking mode. 

"You look familiar! Have we met before?"

"No! "

He didn't think it was true. He was sure that their eyes had jammed more than once when he was busy spying on him. Scoups bit his lip as though he was hesitant to say the next thing coming to his mind. He shook his head and blurted it out.

"You look like a girl"

Jeonghan was taken aback yet he couldn't deny that he did look like a girl with his long blonde hair and feminine features.

"Is it a bad thing?" He whispered almost to himself.

"No...you look really good. You definitely put all the girls in this party to shame"

Jeonghan blushed. Scoups noticed and laughed, a twinkle in his eyes.

"What's your name beautiful?"

He blushed harder. 

"Jeonghan!" he replied.

"Hannie...." Scoups muttered under his breath. The way he said that nickname made his heart pound faster but he tried to control it trying to remember that he was a man. A man. 

"it's just Jeonghan!" he corrected.

"okay fine" Scoups shrugged.

 "You already know my name, I'm Scoups"

Jeonghan nodded. 

"Everybody does" he smiled. Hoshi suddenly joined them, smiling widely at Scoups.

"Hyung!" he greeted bowing his head as he carried two wine cups in his hands.

"Hoshi!" Scoups said smiling back. He looked at them both when Hoshi handed Jeonghan a cup.

"You know each other?"

Hoshi nodded. "He's my friend and roommate. We've known each other since college"

"I see... " He nodded.

 "I hope you are working hard. I could use you for my next music video"

Hoshi bowed again. "Kamsahmnida" 

Scoups turned his piercing gaze to Jeonghan.

"See you again Hannie" he said and left. Hoshi noticed the blush evident in his friend's cheeks. 

"How did you even start talking to him?" he questioned.

"oh, we just locked eyes and before you know it, he walked up to me and started talking to me"

"Stop blushing already!" Hoshi yelled angrily and he stopped. 

"Don't get your hopes up just because he spoke with you. He is a playboy and most importantly, he is not gay" Hoshi stressed his words hoping it would sink into the brain of the blonde. 

"I know but... "

"No buts... Let's go, this party sucks" he said, his face twisting into suppressed anger that didn't escape Jeonghan's notice. He smacked his younger friend. 

"Yah...why didn't you tell me you knew Scoups. I would have saved my self the trouble of spying on him" 

Hoshi sighed. "I only met him two years ago at Pledis when I was doing a choreography for Nuest comeback."

Jeonghan looked at him closely. There was something his friend was hiding and he was sure it concerned Scoups. He finally got it. "Yah, do you like him?"

Hoshi gasped, his mouth slightly opened but he didn't say anything.

"Tell me" Jeonghan pressed. Hoshi sighed. "Well, I did like him but not anymore" He looked hesitant to continue but he did anyway.

"We bumped into eachother and spoke for a while. I really thought he liked me with the way he spoke. I wasn't able to see him until the comeback started. I went to his changing room, that was when I saw him kissing Min ah"

Jeonghan just stared. He didn't know what to think.

"Ever since then, I forgot my feelings for him. It hurt a lot but I had to do that in other to move on"
He shook Jeonghan's arms.

 "Right now, you should forget everything about today. Don't take it seriously or it will only end up hurting you" 

The news was surprising. He never knew that Hoshi could have a crush on anyone. He was always serious and seemed to have no time or need for a relationship. Wow, Scoups was really something.

They left the party and went home. Jeonghan was now preoccupied with finding a new job. He had to survive after getting fired. He sat on his bedside table and opened his laptop. He searched for both full time and part time jobs but he couldn't find one that was worth his time and effort. After searching for a long time, he almost lost hope when he saw a clear advertisement shining on top of his screen. The wordings read: Assistant manager needed.

He clicked on it and read the advertisement.

Assistant manager needed for a top male celebrity for a duration of three months. Salary, 50 000 dollars

Jeonghan gasped. Could this be real. He rubbed his eyes staring at the amount and gulped. Top male celebrity. Who could it be? To be honest, he really didn't care. What was there to loose anyway? He filled the online form, uploaded his passport photograph and sent it to the email address in the site. He sighed and twisted his fingers. He could rest now. He went to his bed and laid down suddenly dreaming of black solid eyes. 

Scoups sighed softly to himself. The rumour about he and Yoona was still ongoing. She wasn't the nation's sweetheart for nothing but that wasn't what bothered him today. It was that guy that looked like a girl. He was really beautiful with small pink lips, straight nose and brown eyes. He had looked so slender that he was sure his body would fit easily into his own. He groaned! How could he be thinking of him? He began to look for anything to distract himself . He played his mp3, plucking the ear piece into his ears, he listened to his own rap to the single he was about to release. He bobbed his head up and down to the music unaware that someone had entered. It was a staff. She stared at the idol who was lost in his music. It was only when she tapped his shoulder that he removed his ear piece and turned round to look at her. 

"Oh yes...is there a problem?"

She blushed as she held out a file to him. "These are the finalists for the assistant manager position"

"Thanks" He said and collected it from her. She giggled and practically ran out of the room. 

He shrugged. He was used to this sort of behavior even from the company female staffs. Most of them would make him flustered and throw themselves at him.

His manager had had a nearly fatal accident and had to undergo surgery to save his life. The doctor said his recovery would take about three months which called for the emergency hiring of an assistant manager who would take over his manager's duties till he returned. He was glad that the company didn't just bring anyone to manage him. He had the final say. 

He took a deep breath and opened the file. He took one look at the forms one after the other yawning uninterestedly till his eyes caught one that nearly took his breath away. He looked at it again. It was him, the feminine man. He held out the form wearing a goofish smile. 

Yes! It was him. He read out his name. Yoon jeonghan. Scoups laughed. He didn't know why he was so happy. All he knew was that a light was going to shine in his dull and bleak existence. 

He smirked "Welcome to the world of Scoups....Hannie"
