I've been itching to write a Jeongcheol fanfic. I even recieved some messages to write a Jeongcheol fanfic due to my profile. This is my first Jeongcheol story so here goes, I'm so excited!😆
The blonde haired guy sat across from the black haired one, beads of sweat forming on his brows as he twisted his fingers, holding tightly to the camera in his hands. The air conditioner in the small hall was doing little or nothing to stop the perspiration all over his body. He took one deep breath and swept past the lock of hair blocking his eyes. The black haired guy stood. He definitely hadn't noticed him at all. He looked at the sexy receptionist typing something on her computer and walked to her.
"I don't think I can wait any longer" He said with a tired expression.
The receptionist widened her eyes.
"He will be right back. He's only been gone a few minutes"
The man shook his head
"I'm a very busy man you know, just tell him I will give him a call" He smirked.
The woman nodded knowing she couldn't change his mind. "Alright then Mr S coups"
Scoups nodded and left the hall. The blonde watched with the corner of his eyes as he heard the door of the hall slam shut. Quickly, he stood up.
"Yoon Jeonghan?" The receptionist called out looking confused. Jeonghan turned to her with a fake smile plastered on his face.
"I will be back! Just have to go somewhere"
The receptionist said nothing and just returned her gaze to her computer. Jeonghan sighed and left the hall. He walked out of the building to the parking lot and looked around for Scoups red sports car. He didn't see it. He was already gone.
"Damn! I lost him again" He whispered to himself. Instantly, his phone rang in his jean pocket. He answered already dreading the talk.
"So, Jeonghan anything?" said the voice on the other line.
"No... I lost him again"
There was an uncomfortable silence before the other voice spoke again.
"Jeonghan, don't come back to the office"
"What...."
"You are fired!" Then the line went off. Jeonghan stared at the phone blankly, tears almost threatening to break free from his eyes but he held back and started to drag his feet. He was tired and hungry. He dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out loose change. He almost screamed at the top of his lungs. Couldn't this day get any worse?
He stood at the bus stop and waited for the bus. It came and he boarded. Again, it was filled up so he had to stand for a full thirty minutes before he reached his destination. He got out and walked slowly and briskly to his apartment building. It was a modest duplex with a long staircase leading to the second floor where he stayed with his roommate. He climbed the stairs and walked to his apartment door. When he arrived, he could hear loud music blaring from the stereo inside. He knew his room mate was dancing again. He knocked on the door, no answer. He knocked two more times and the door finally opened. His roommate stared at him closely as Jeonghan entered.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, I was trying out a new routine"
Jeonghan barely nodded and slumped on the couch. His roommate turned off the music and knelt down beside him.
"You look terrible, what happened?"
"Hoshi....i got fired today"
Hoshi gasped looking pitiful. "I'm so sorry"
"it's okay, I wanted to quit anyway it was so exhausting!" Jeonghan said.
"I know but still... "
"I lost the chance to get anything on Scoups. Nothing I did was enough. That man is so secretive"
Hoshi sighed. "Look, don't worry okay, it will be fine, you'll get a better job"
Jeonghan sat on the couch "I hope so, because I'm broke"
Hoshi stood wearing a wry smile "Wash up and eat. I prepared food. You look tired"
Jeonghan smiled. He was really grateful for his friend "Thank you"
"Don't bother about it okay?"
Jeonghan nodded and left the sitting room. Moments later, Hoshi heard a slam on the door.
That night, Hoshi was talking to someone on the phone. After the conversation, he walked to the front of Jeonghan's door and knocked. He heard shuffling of feets. He knocked again and the door opened. Jeonghan looked tattered, his hair rough and T-shirt ruffled. Hoshi rolled his eyes.
"Come with me!" He said.
Jeonghan rubbed his eyes. "Where to?"
"We are going to a party"
Jeonghan groaned making Hoshi frown.
"We are going, whether you like it or not. I can't have you being all depressed" His friend said.
"I'm not depressed!"
"You are depressed and you can't hide it" Hoshi said. "Now, I want you to get dressed and meet me in the car" He turned around quickly without another word. Jeonghan threw his hands in the air. He really wasn't in any mood to go anywhere much less a party but he knew better than to refuse Hoshi. He was gentle and kind but when you defy him, he could turn into a beast. Literally.
Jeonghan washed up, dressed in a tight black pants and shirt with blue spots. He brushed his hair and applied minimal makeup, grabbed his wallet and was out of the house locking it behind him. When he met Hoshi in the car, his friend smiled brightly
"Now, that's what I'm talking about" He said and they drove off.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the place. It was a really huge mansion with fancy lights. Jeonghan came out noticing that the people around them looked famous.
"em... Hoshi, are you sure this is the place?" He said his eyes wandering towards all the familiar celebrities faces.
"Yep!" His friend answered.
"But how did you get invited to a place like this"
Hoshi smirked. "I'm a dance coach for celebrities, remember?"
"Oh yeah!" Jeonghan whispered suddenly remembering how important his friend really was. He always seemed to forget because of how close they are.
"Shall we?" Hoshi said, putting out his arm. Jeonghan laughed and wrapped his hand around his.
"Of course" He said and they walked towards the front door where heavily built men stopped them and asked for their invitation. Hoshi showed his to them and they were allowed to enter.
The hall was so huge and beautiful. It was filled with celebrities and loud music blasted from the stereos. Jeonghan was awed at how expensive every where looked. Hoshi seperated their hands.
"Let me get us drinks!" He said and left. Jeonghan looked around his surroundings and then suddenly paused when he saw him. The man who has been causing him headache for the past four months, the man who was the reason why he eventually got fired. Scoups looked ridiculously handsome with his hair jelled and nicely styled, his suit fitting perfectly to his body. For a second, Jeonghan's heart beat wildly in his chest just by the mere sight of Scoups. He was talking to a young pretty woman as he held a glass of wine. The woman laughed and left as Scoups took a sip of his wine. As he sipped, he suddenly turned and their eyes met. He slowly stopped sipping as they just stared at each other. It felt like the world had suddenly stopped.
Thanks for reading, the next part shall be uploaded pretty soon, Wait for it! It's going to be really good.
