A very bitter feeling settled in his heart as he stared at them. Now, he understood Hoshi's feelings the day he had caught his crush with a woman. 

"em, I'm so sorry" The girl said, her face flushing red as she straightened her clothes and ran out of the room. Scoups stared back at Jeonghan and gulped. 

"it's really not what it looks like....she came onto me"

Despite himself, he put on a nonchalant disposition.

"What you do, does not concern me Hyung" 

He shut the door and came closer taking a quick look at the room. It was really nice, fit for a celebrity like Scoups. He bowed his head. 

"I'm Jeonghan, your new manager" He said lightly. 

Scoups nodded his head. "We met at the club two weeks ago"

"I'm surprised you even remember" Jeonghan said in a sarcastic tone, whether Scoups noticed the sarcasm or not, he didn't show it. He simply smiled looking a lot more relaxed after getting caught making out with an amateur K-pop idol. Jeonghan rolled his eyes. Scoups must really get himself into this mess all the time. He looked so used to it.

Scoups continued talking "This feels like fate, I had no idea we would meet again like this" he said with a glint in his eyes.

Jeonghan tried not to look concerned. He wasn't going to look vulnerable to this pervert ever again so he cleared his throat.  

"Do allow me to serve you Scoups "
Scoups bounced on a couch facing a big flat screen TV 

"Don't call me Scoups, it feels too formal"

Jeonghan seemed confused "Then what do I call you?"

Scoups turned to him, his dark eyes piercing his. The blonde tried to pull away but it was too gripping, too intense. He could feel heat rise to his cheeks.

"Seungcheol, just call me Seungcheol." The Star said bringing him back to his senses as Scoups picked up the remote and began changing channels. 

"Is that your name?" Jeonghan asked. 
Scoups chuckled.

 "Yes, at least that was the name my parents gave me when they gave birth to me"

Jeonghan stuck a stray hair behind his ear. He had no idea what to do now. Scoups sensed this and smiled. 

"Give me your number" He said. 

"What?"

"So I can call you in case I need anything"

"oh, okay.... " jeonghan said and told him his number. Seungcheol saved it on his phone As soon as he did, he had this strange smile on his lips. Jeonghan noticed it immediately. He had a crippling feeling that he was up to something.

"When I need you, I will call you. For now, wait at the managers office" He said. Jeonghan bowed. He didn't know where it was but he didn't want to ask Scoups. He still felt angry and disappointed over what he saw Scoups doing with that girl. Even though he denied it, he didn't believe him. World renowned K-pop idol Scoups was a pervert as far as he was concerned.

He found out that the managers office was In the second floor after asking the receptionist. When he arrived there, he felt lost. There where several of them there all working busily. It was crowded but he found an empty seat with his name tag placed on the table. There was a laptop, a scanner, printer and other minor equipments needed for his job. He places his bag on the table and sat down. Come to think of it, what happened to Scoups manager? He was definitely going to ask about it.

"Hi" A soft voice whispered behind him. He turned slowly and saw two people staring wide eyed at him. One of them was tall and slender with an oval shaped face. He looked really cute with big slanty eyes and brown hair. The other had a dark mysterious aura about him. His hair was black and he wore black clothes. He was really handsome.

"Wow, he looks pretty" The cute tall one said. 

"Like a girl" The other replied.

"is he a girl?"

"He sure looks like one"

Jeonghan cleared his throat making the two men look at him.

"I'm right here"

The cute one smiled brightly.

 "Hi, I'm Minghao and he is Wonwoo" He said. "and you must be... " He caught his name tag. "Jeonghan, Scoups new manager"

"Temporary" Jeonghan answered. 
Minghao scratched his head. "it's a shame what happened to his manager though"

Jeonghan puckered up. "Yes, I would like to know what happened"

"He had an accident that almost killed him. He had to undergo surgery and would return after three months"
Jeonghan nodded understandably. "But that is not all. People say that the manager had dropped Scoups and Yoona at a hotel before the accident occurred"

Jeonghan was quite shocked. This was the first time he was hearing this news. Minghao continued. 

"People are saying that someone must have sabotaged with the vehicle to get revenge on Scoups"

This was news to Jeonghan. He hadn't known about this while working as a journalist. It was really strange and suspicious.

"Well, it's all rumours" Minghao said. 
Jeonghan wasn't sure what to think but he was definitely sure now that Scoups was dating Yoona. They heard a phone ring, it was Minghao's. He picked it up. He was talking to his celebrity client.

"I'll be right there" He said and pocketed his phone as he sighed. 

"Duty calls" He smiled smugly. "We should have dinner together sometime okay?"

Jeonghan nodded and he left. Wonwoo smiled softly at him. Jeonghan gazed at him. He really was a mysterious beauty.

"Don't fall for him" he suddenly said confusing jeonghan.

"What? Who?"

"Scoups"

Jeonghan sighed.

"I'm just telling you"

Jeonghan rolled his eyes "What makes you think I like men"

Wonwoo scoffed and looked at him all over. "it's pretty obvious"

Jeonghan reddened and stuck another stray hair behind his ear. Just that moment, slight commotion occurred in the office. Jeonghan looked around and saw a very huge tall man enter the office, hands in his pocket. He was Mingyu a famous rapper just like Scoups. He stopped for a moment looking around till he spotted them. He started walking towards their direction. Jeonghan noticed that Wonwoo tensed beside him. Mingyu stopped in front of them without acknowledging Jeonghan. He looked straight at Wonwoo.

"Have you been ignoring me?" He said in a tight voice. Wonwoo didn't respond. He simply lowered his eyes.

"Eish" Mingyu groaned in frustration and grabbed Wonwoo's hand startling Jeonghan and everyone in the office. 

"Come with me" He said sounding angry 

"Hajima" Wonwoo said through gritted teeth. The darkness in his eyes was evident but Mingyu didn't seem to care. 

"You are not going to ignore me this time, I won't let you go"

"Let me go" Wonwoo shouted but Mingyu's grip got tighter as he dragged him out of the office. Jeonghan didn't understand what just happened but it was obvious that Mingyu and his manager Wonwoo had something other than business going on between them. 

Jeonghan turned to the desk to see what schedules Scoups had when his phone rang. It was an unknown number but he picked up all the same.

"Hello..."

"Jeonghan, seems like you have settled down already" Scoups voice prickled his skin. It had an effect on him but he wouldn't let it so he rolled his eyes. 

"I need you to do something for me"

"What?"

There was a small silence before he continued "I have been craving an americano since morning" He paused. "Not only Americano. Yeah Donuts."
Jeonghan could imagine the devilish smile on Scoups face. He took a deep breath trying to calm his nerves.

"Are you asking me to go out and buy you Americano and Donuts?"
Scoups chuckled. "That's right"
He took another deep breath remembering the 50000 dollars. 

"Alright then" he answered.

"Please be quick with it" Scoups said and cut the line. He cringed. The pervert was trying to play games with him. He didn't even have that much money with him. He headed out of Pledis and trekked to a coffee shop close to the company. He bought an americano and freshly made Donuts and went back to Pledis. He opened the door to Scoups room but he wasn't there. The room was empty so he called his line. A man picked up. 

"He's at the recording studio" He said. 

"Thank you" Jeonghan responded and left to find the recording studio that Scoups was in. He finally found it. When he entered, a beautiful melody went straight to his ears. He watched Scoups from the transparent glass as he rapped to the beat of the music. Jeonghan found himself completely mesmerized by him. He looked so perfect as he demonstrated his emotions with his hands. Suddenly, they made eye contact and he thought he saw Scoups smile at him. He shook his head when he saw Scoups focusing his gaze on his microphone. He must have been seeing things.
Scoups stopped singing and the sound engineer shook hands with him as he exited the booth. 

"That was hot!" He exclaimed.

"Thanks" Scoups said looking proud of himself. He immediately looked at jeonghan who was trying to suppress the blush threatening to fire at his cheeks. 

"So how was it?" Scoups said and immediately looked at Jeonghan who was trying to supress the blush threatening to fill his cheeks. The other couldn't deny how cool he looked at that moment holding a water bottle with sweat splattered on his forehead.

"It was okay"

"Just okay?" Scoups said seriously. 

"That is the title song of my new album"

Jeonghan shrugged. "I don't really know, I'm not really a fan of your songs" he lied. 

"What? You are not a..." He looked upset. 

Jeonghan hid a smile outwardly trying to look unconcerned. He held out the americano to him. Scoups got distracted by it and took it. He sipped it and his face twisted.

"Eish, it's cold"

"Because I was waiting for you" Jeonghan retorted. Scoups tasted the Donuts. 

"At least this one is good" and snatched the donut bag from Jeonghan. The blonde held out his palm. 

"What?" Scoups said in between bites. 

"Ten dollars" he whispered. Scoups smiled cockily. 

"Consider it a gift to me. You will have fifty thousand dollars in your account pretty soon, don't be so greedy" he said and walked out of the studio. Jeonghan was flabbergasted and followed him but Scoups suddenly stopped walking and stopped abruptly making Jeonghan collide with his back. 

He made to shout when he saw a handsome man staring hard at Scoups who looked back at him. There was something in the air between them. Was it tension? It was hard to pinpoint. Jeonghan saw Minghao walking towards them. He smiled on seeing him but stopped and bowed his head in front of the other man who Jeonghan finally recognized as Jisoo a popular singer. He was also just as controversial as Scoups.

"Jisoo, we will be late for the appointment" Minghao said. Jisoo looked at Jeonghan for a moment before turning his eyes back to Scoups. He simply bowed without a word and walked away with Minghao. That was really creepy. There was something in jisoo's eyes when he had looked at him. That man gave him goose bumps.
Jeonghan could tell that Scoups countenance had changed with the way his body stiffened.

"Em, let me quickly go and look over your schedules"
Scoups didn't say anything as Jeonghan quickly left. He heard nothing from Scoups throughout the day nor did he see Minghao and Wonwoo but he had acquainted himself with the rest of the managers. He made sure to memorize Scoups schedules and my, did the Idol have a lot. He was bound to be very busy for the next three months. He was already dreading it. He wondered how Scoups coped with all the hectic schedules but then again, it wasn't his business, he was just managing him. 
Scoups left the company after his recording session and Jeonghan had no idea where he went and he didn't care to know. When he went back home, Hoshi was around making dinner.

"How was work?" He asked as Jeonghan slumped on the living room couch. Jeonghan quietly told him everything and how he ended up working for Scoups, the saucy Hr manager, Mingyu and Wonwoo's weirdness while they ate dinner. Hoshi was shocked but again, he warned him against falling for Scoups. Jeonghan didn't need to be told twice after what happened today. He didn't know what to make of his first day at work. All he could think of was that strangling moment between Scoups and Jisoo outside the studio. He was sure of one thing though, they were enemies.
