Chapter seven: New plan

"She seduced me. She said that she can make me forget all the things that have been bothering me."

"I'm listening." Sagot ko to tell him to continue speaking.

"When Cassian continues this attitude to Maeve.."

"Or kill her." Sabat ni Calyx. Lumingon ako sa gawi ni Cassian, and he raised a brow on me. I also raised a brow on him, giving him a sign to speak.

"It's settled, let's go back to what we have been doing." sabi ni Hailey at tumayo na sa pagkakaupo.

"You guys go ahead, I need to clear my mind. Walang susunod saakin kundi babanatan ko kayo." Sabi ko at umakyat sa kwarto.

Naramdaman ko ang pagsunod sa akin ni Ryota. "Hindi ka pwedeng lumabas." He said in a cold voice.

"No one can stop me," Sabi ko at pumasok ng cr. Magpapalit ako ng sportswear, I'm going for a run. Paglabas ko ng cr titig na titig pa din saakin si Ryota, parang onti nalang uusok na ang ilong at tenga.

"Love, galit ka?" Pabebe kong tanong. Inirapan niya lang ako, uh! Pumamewang pa siya doon sa higaan at nagpanggap na nagcecellphone.

Pumatong ako sa kanya trying to get his attention. I started jumping on his thingy, para makuha attention niya.

Lumapit ako sa mukha niya at may binulong sa tenga.

"You're blushing love, you can't ignore me forever." Tumalon ulit ako sa position na ito at hinawakan ang baba niya para lingunin ako.

"Stop that, I'm getting hard." Nagulat naman ako dahil pinoint out niya yun.

"Payagan mo na kasi ako." Pagiiba ko ng usapan, kasi naging awkward yung tension saamin.

Alanganin niya akong nilingon, and he sighed as a sign of defeat. "Tsk, fine, Just don't push yourself too hard. You know your limitations naman na when it comes to pushing yourself."

I nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm going!" Sigaw ko bago lumabas ng pintuan ng bahay.

I ran to the beach and sat on the rock. I can feel my body heating up again, nabinat na siguro ako. Lagot ako, hays.

Napakunot ang noo ko nang may tumama sa ulo ko. "What the–" Nakita ko yung tumama sa ulo ko sa buhanginan.

"Paper?" I asked myself. Binuklat ko yung papel na yun, at binasa.

Kaede, I need your help. You might be wondering who I am, but I know you're as smart as Einstein and who you're assuming is right. I'm somewhere right now, a place that is very secure. I need you to right back to me, and keep my letters safe. No one can know about this, not even Hailey, and also. I can see what you guys are doing at your new house, you already got a replacement that's nice. You can't know where I am.. yet. I miss you.

Paano ako susulat pabalik sakanya? There's no address. But I know that she's not an idiot to leave a clue that may lead to where she is right now.

I flipped the paper and saw another note.

Under the rock to where you're sitting right now, dyaan mo lagi ilagay ang sulat. At dyaan mo lagi abangan ang sulat ko.

I feel like I'm going to commit a sin. Magtatago nanaman kami sakanya, kung hindi lang soft hearted si Hailey malamang she already left after two times of us lying together.

I was about to run back to the house when I saw another bottle from the ocean. Second one, na 'to. Hindi ako selfish para buksan na ito at basahin magisa.

Kaya I ran back to the house.

I made sure that the gate was locked and in tack baka kasi mapagbintangan nanaman ako ng mga kaibigan kong gunggong.

"I'm back!" I shouted while taking off my shoes.

"What do you have there?" Nagulat ako sa boses ni Maeve, I want to scream and burst in front of her. Pero bawal, I got to stick to the plan.

"A letter, found on the beach." Sagot ko.

"Seems interesting, let's open it." Sabi niya at tinangkang kuhain yung bote pero nilayo ko ito sa kamay niya.

Come on Kaede you're being so obvious. "This is not the first time we found one of these scrolls, we have already been expecting this. Kaya kailangan mabasa namin ang laman nito kasama ang lahat." I explained, tiningnan niya ang kabuoan ko.

"What's that?" Tinuro niya yung sulat ni Ravenna! Lihim kong itinago yung sulat sa leggings ko.

"Tissue lang 'yun," sagot ko at nauna na.

I took a warm shower before I went downstairs again. I felt like I moved a lot today. Ito siguro yung feeling ni Ravenna when she was one of us. It's like a big responsibility was just placed on my back that I have to carry for them.

May pagkain na sa lamesa pero di ko muna yun pinansin, I placed the bottle on the coffee table sa sala at naghintay sa kanila.

"Another scroll huh?" Boses ni Hailey at tumabi sa'kin. Naiilang ako sa presensya niya. I should just think straight, pabayaan ko na si Ravenna.

"Seems like committed 'yang tao sa pagbibigay ng ganyan sa atin ah." Commento ni Calyx na nakatayo sa likod namin.

"Cassian! Ryota!" Sigaw ni Hailey na tinatawag sila. She looked at me, probably asking if she would call Maeve as well.

"Aakyat si Maeve kung gusto niya." Sabi ko.

'You five, well technically six. I have already warned you to be careful on who to recruit. But oh well. Ang titigas din ng ulo niyo eh. Magingat lang kayo, uunahan ko na kayo kasi mauutak kayo. Hindi niyo ko kakampi, but I won't deny that I'm your enemy. Tinutulungan ko lang kayo kasi gusto ko ako ang makakuha sa inyo. Also, your names are the talk of the city from where I am right now. "Call us kids, tss. Pathetic." Sabi ni Cassian.

"That person is probably afraid of us kasi hindi sila marunong magpakilala." Singit ni Calyx.

"Let's clear our heads with dinner, yeah?" Sabi ni Ryota. We just started eating until we heard a knock.

"I'll get it." Sabi ni Hailey, sumunod ako sa likod niya.

Pagbukas ng pinto bumungad siya sa amin.

"The place you guys picked looks nice, I just want to see the replacer."
