Running
They just kept kissing each other. That's all they really wanted to do. They knew it was love. There's no such thing as too young. They stopped for a moment to just stare into each other's eyes.
"What time do you usually go home?" Dean asked, breaking the silence.
"Do I have to?"
"Not yet. Just asking."
"I don't want to go back there. It's terrible at home. You're not there." Dean smiled.
"Don't worry. We can see each other tomorrow."
"Not soon enough." They kissed again.
"What would I do without you?"
"Hmm, crash and burn." Cas joked. Dean chuckled and gave him a few more quick kisses. All he wanted to do was kiss him. But he knew Cas would have to go home eventually.
"Let's just talk, huh? So, tell me about your dad." Cas's face grew quite serious.
"Do I have to?" The innocence in his eyes made Dean's heart melt.
"No, just a suggestion for a topic to discuss."
"How about anything else?" He gave Dean such warm, puppy dog eyes that made Dean's spine turn to jelly. He just grabbed him and kissed him again.
"I don't want you to go. I never want you to go."
"Neither do I. Let's just run away together."
"Cas, that's crazy."
"I thought you loved crazy."
"Fair point. Where would we go?"
"Get on a plane and fly to Oahu."
"I'm not ready to leave the country, Cas." He chuckled.
"It's one of the Hawaiian islands. We could get a tan together."
"You can get a tan. The only thing I'm getting is sunscreen."
"Should we do it? Run away?"
"Maybe. One day. What about Sammy?"
"There's always Bobby. I'm sure he wouldn't mind looking after him."
"Alright, Cas. I've got an idea. Stay here, alright?" Dean got up and walked out of the bedroom. A few minutes later, he came back with a die.
"What are you doing?" Cas asked with a smile.
"You are going to roll this die. Whatever number it lands on, that's how many years we will wait." He handed Cas the die.
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, seriously." Cas just shrugged and rolled the die onto the bed. It landed on the number 3.
"It's a three."
"Alright. We'll wait three years. And," Dean went to his closet and pulled a dart out of a small box hidden away inside. "Let's pick a date." He got a couple of feet in front of his calendar hanging on the wall. He threw the dart and it landed on the 16th of May.
"Three years on May 16th?" Cas summed up.
"Looks like it. That, my little angel, is when we will pack our bags and go to Omaha."
"Oahu."
"We can go there, too. We can go anywhere. We can do anything. As long as it's together." They grabbed each other's hands.
"Together."
(A/N I literally just got a lump in my throat as I typed this! So friggin sweet!)
