Prolauge

The world, it's like cage concealing you from your life, metaphorically speaking, well for you. I always beckon for the darkness, hopping for life in it and I find it but it feels to lonely and there is this slight liger of light that gives the darkness life and let's it grow. But with too much light it soaks out the darkness but needs the darkness for death.

If there was no darkness there would be no death. Death is a form of birth, kinda like a renal of life, but when nothing dies it leaves no chance of rebirth to create new life . So when people people say the darkness is bad, it's not completely true.

I've spent ten years in the darkness and I was fine, well, so I thought. It was the moment of freedom that got to my head
and made me feel like I wasn't trapped anymore, but no one is ever free; we will all be trapped forever.

But all of my hope was given and crushed to the ground to reveal the cold harsh truth of the world when the words were spoken. I was given hope but was let down. But sit down and let me tell you the story of broken walls , the story of me.

I sat in the darkness like I had did for the last 10 years, but this day was different from every day before as a heard a door shut. This startled me and I jumped up. I wobbled a little, not used to standing up all the time. As I peered through the dusty, rusted cage bars, I saw a blurry figure that looked unlike the daily feeders.

"H-hello?"

I tried to respond to the words of the figure but I couldn't find any words . My throat was too dry to speak and I couldn't remember any words but something stumble out of my mouth and It was to jibber jabber to be understood and even I didn't know what I said.

"Is someone there!?" The voice said.

I could only remember one word that really struck me. One word that could say it all.

"He-he-help help help HLEP help," Was all I could manage to stumble out and I couldn't say anything else.

"Are you ok!? Where are you!"

I started to cry. I didn't know what do. I was speechless and incapable of freedom. As I sat there I whispered to myself,"please." Tears poured out and I started thinking. A few words came back to my brain. It wasn't enough to know everything but I could manage just enough to speak.

"I-I. stuck. Help. Up. Cage." I stuttered a lot, but it was enough for him to understand. All the sudden a light flashed up at me and blinded my eyes. I reached my hand out between the bars for him to spot me.

"Hold on I'm coming."

Those words were enough to spark hope. I looked out beside me as the light the man had, shuffled through the room. As I followed the light with my eyes, I saw cages just like mine, scattered across the ceiling as far as I could see behind me. Each and every cage concealed a dead body. It wasn't a pleasant sight but it was better than being blinded by darkness for ten years.

He was too far away untill he jumped and some how rocks my cage and I'm finally filled with hope.
